execution of Ping launches hundreds of cases prompt cmd

All I'm trying to do is to run the built in the ping through cmd prompt.

When I do so the number of processes on my sky rockets computer and until all my memory is used.

The Cmd prompt does not give much information but here is what comes up when I try to ping 128.149.77.9:

This is a picture of the screen, because the computer quickly becomes unresponsive when I do this, given that all the memory is used.

    Let's see here...

Method 1 will not help you.
Method 2 will not help you.

Here is what will help you to:

Looks like your system is still suffering from malware and I doubt that any Microsoft product will correct - you need of the best weapons for this one.

Here's a little test you can run and then some recommendations to scan:

Some malicious software is aware of the methods you're most likely to use to find and remove it (Task Manager, System Restore, command prompt, Internet, Google, etc.)

The malware does not allows you to use things like the Task Manager to find and remove, so it prevents them from becoming a process running on the system and the process will not start or the process will be completed as soon as it is launched.

The malware is happier when he let you think you need to use system restore, a repair install or reinstall your XP from scratch to fix your system when none of this is necessary.

You can fool the malware (and then fix it).

Assuming that your Windows is installed on your drive C, using Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder c:\windows\system32 and locate taskmgr.exe.

Copy the taskmgr.exe file and rename the copy something malicious software will not recognize.  I like to call the copy:

    c:\windows\system32\jose.exe

Double-click on jose.exe and see if the Windows Task Manager window opens now.

The problem is the malware won't let the taskmgr.exe a running process, but he does not know jose.exe as a running process in order to thwart you all (I have a feeling that he will well a day on jose.exe).

Will not 'fix' your task manager, but at least you will know whether or not the Task Manager mechanism works (taskmgr.exe still not start properly).  If you try to remove some malware and the need to use the Task Manager, you can simply launch jose.exe (double-click) instead, but will be still infected your system.

Usually, there are a few other things that also don't work you would like to know later, so I recommend you do this:

Reduce the risk of malware by running some scans.

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

It can be uninstalled later if you wish.

The scans by operating clean, restart, test your task manager and we can repair any other pending issues.

If things look good, you can delete the c:\windows\system32\jose.exe file.

    HELP ME PLS.
    THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Looks like your system is corrupt, its probably best you reinstall Windows 7:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • (How) Can I change the priority for execution vi when running

    Hi all

I use the demons (free running VI) and I communicate them through queues.

They are part of my architecture of device driver and use a producer (of the Acquisition) architecture or Architecture consumer (for control)

I have a single VI demon I deploy an 'object of device' using a class polymorphic implimentation.

This implimentation has a deficit of subtle,

I'm not able to change the priority for execution to the launch

There is a property node taunts that it is possible, but the assistance (and run the error message) says not available during execution.

    Anyone know of another method?

Here's what I thought about so far:

    1. do you have 5 different demons with different priorities [Distasteful for the maintenance of the Code]

    2. make low priority and ensure that at least 1 VI in the driver has a highest priority [do not know if it works, mask implimentation]

    Kind regards

    Tim L.

You might think about putting a timed loop or timed sequence in your daemon and then passing a value of digital priority to your demon. This is the best solution I can think.

  • can ping but cannot browse after you update to SP3 of XP

    Hello

I use a computer connected wireless to a DSL modem. There are also three other computers connect to the same ADSL router wirelessly and they work fine.

The problem machine running Windows XP SP2 with automatic updates enabled. The computer connects to the Internet and works well, until he installed XP SP3. After restarting the installation of SP3, no normal Internet connection cannot be established with any browser. I tried Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Crome. I just get an error page (Internet Explorer cannot display the web page) when you try to connect to any web page with a name. I can connect to a Web site through the IP address only. I can ping by IP address, but not by name.

I reinstalled XP SP2 now, for the seventh time, left to run automatic updates and each time after SP3 installation starts the connection problem. I have not installed Norton or any other anti virus on the machine programs, still having the same problem. I disabled the same Windows Firewall! No protection, nothing that the operating system on the computer and cannot always surf the Internet when XP SP3 is installed. When I stop the automatic updates before you install SP3, I can browse normally without any problems.

I searched through a large number of Web sites for a solution and trying all possible and impossible solutions offered: parameters examined, fixed network winsock, nothing seems to solve the problem.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    John

    AirOnSkin,

You were right about the problem of dns, seems that I stared at the present time, even if it's just something temporary and not the real solution. Here's what I did:

First, I examined parameters network (again!) and the ipconfig enough & / renew options, as suggested by Joselbarra. All were OK and I did not any changes.

Then, I started playing with the ipconfig and ping commands in the command prompt window. I had my laptop next to the problem pc to compare the results of the pings I've tried. Ping and ping-a on the problem pc gave me exactly the same results, while ping - one on the phone gave me the name of the server!

Last sentence of AirOnSkin did the trick. I tried ipconfig/all on the problem pc again and there was no ip address for the dns, while on my laptop, I got the ip address for the listed dns!

So here is the temporary fix: in the TCP/IP settings I have the ip address specified for the dns and everything worked! For some strange reason the network settings is not get the IP for the dns automatically, and this happens only when I load XP SP3.

Now, it is up to the technical expert to understand why not bring a real solution.

    Thanks for your help, guys!

    See you soon,.

  • Unable to run .exe files - windows for the application to launch guests

When I try to launch a .exe, or .cmd file, Windows prompts you to wonder what application should I use to start the program. This happens on a single user profile on the machine, not the others. How can I fix this profile?

    Background:
My child has apparently infected the computer. Whenever I started IE, two things happened:
    1. I have tons of warning messages that the computer has been infected
    2. I had the Vista "you want to run...?" question for the c:\users\tanya\app data\local\av.exe file

I disconnected and logged on as an account administrator and then deleted the av.exe file. I have connected as a user infected, launched IE. Guests at the stop, but now I'm invited by Windows to how launch (apparently part of the java runtime) ssvagent.exe - since everything that I try to launch with a .exe or .cmd, or .com extension gives me a quick for applications to launch in. I suspect that the virus, the installation itself, not connected all the stuff.

Then... How to hang it to the top? Advice?

  • Restrictions on the execution of methods in a package

    Hello

I have a question. Is it possible to restrict users in the execution of methods in a single case.

    For example:

In the package below one Admin should have privilege to perform all of the methods in sample_pkg. Other users must have administrative privileges to run only the Get_Details function.

Please let me know how I can implement this scenario in Oracle.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKGAE sample_pkg
    IS

       FUNCTION Get_Details;

       PROCEDURE New_Order;

    END sample_pkg;

CREATE OR REPLACE PACKGAE BODY sample_pkg
    IS

       FUNCTION Get_Details
       IS

       BEGIN

       BEGIN
