• Exported PDF printing problem

  I prepare my students portfolio of architecture with InDesign to print with Lulu, a print on demand (lulu.com) online service.  After several series of test prints with pdf export different options, I'm stumped on some colors produced.  My CAD drawings many gray representative lines hatches or distant construction lines... These keep printing with a red gradient / purple / blue / green, despite several attempts to reconfigure my color management settings (both with 'none' and "convert to CMYK").  Most of these files is .ai files placed in InDesign... of course they appear correctly on my screen on the original file and the exported pdf file.  In addition, files print correctly on printers laserjet color at school, so I'm starting to think it may be a problem with Lulu.

  Anyone know if this is something I am doing wrong, or if this is a common problem with Lulu print?

  Hello, as stated in the title, I would like to export PDFs to excel by program files.

  The problem arised because I need to convert a large number of files, say a thousand, and as far as I know the only way to do this is to convert them manually using Adobe Reader DC.

  I need some Adobe Reader API to connect with and the conversion of pdf to excel, is possible like this available?

  To export PDF to pptx files, you must have the Adobe PDF or Acrobat package installed on your system.

  Using export to PDF format, you will not be able to convert a pptx file...

• Overview of the issues when exporting pdf from InDesign

  I'm working on PC, Windows 7, InDesign of CS5. I had several problems with executives of color filled not appearing is not in the preview of an exported pdf file, different file, same problem. The files 'prints' very well. For example, I have a page that contains a logo, two lines of text in the Arial font, two photo .jpg (CMYK) and a background color solid process. When I export to PDF (I tried all the options available to me) the colorful background does not appear in the preview. I can send this file to the printer and it prints exactly as set upward in InDesign. I also systematically deleted each item separately and re-exported the same results each time. I even deleted everything on the page with just the colorful box. Same result. I did drag the elements on a page in a new document. Same result.

  Thoughts? Does anyone else know this? I looked for further discussions on this topic, but couldn't find one just like her.

  Check your Acrobat preferences under the Page display and do not forget the large images are enabled, and under accessibility and make replace safe colors is not.

  This was a known problem in Acrobat. Export PDF to other formats currently does not support right to left languages. In fact, I reported this as a bug inside Adobe a few years ago...

  I think maybe it's a coincidence, that nothing is installed with ExportPDF, so nothing should have changed your web browser. That said, you can clear the cache of the browser and then re-open your browser. (What browser do you use?)

  You can also try to restart your computer, if the browser is restarted does not solve the problem. But still, I don't think that this problem is related to the ExportPDF.

• Missing in exported .pdf

  I have a deadline coming, and everything is ready... except that the two elements are missing in the exported PDF file. Anyone know what is happening? I never had this problem before.

  Problem solved! A .tiff file was extremely large (11549 x 2860 px) which caused he and some other items to disappear from the .pdf. Thank you to all the world, you are great! :-D

• Export PDF freezes InDesign CS5

  I'm having a random freeze problem when you export a PDF file in InDesign. I export the file and it goes in background processing. I try to close the file and InDesign said that the background operation still works and that I can not close the file. I have check the background task window and the PDF is still of the distillation. I let it go for about 30 minutes and nothing happens. The footprint of the PDF file shows 0. InDesign won't let me stop the process in background window (or at least when I click on the 'x' nothing happens), and the only way I can get out is to force InDesign to quit smoking. When I re - open the file and try again, InDesign exports PDF without problem.

  This happened with 2 different types of files in the last day. First time was a magazine page... 50 pages have been'd up queue to export files PDF and stops the whole process on a single page. After an hour or two, I had to leave the force and start over, and all exported without any problem. This most recent gel was a stand-alone file of relatively small ads. Both times there were no errors before the indicated flight.

  Someone else has this problem and is there something I could do in addition to the strength to quit smoking?

• Terrible graphics with export PDF in FM9

  I use FM9 unpatched on Windows XP Pro.

  I can't export PDF to work properly with graphics. Everything is great in general, but the graphics lose quality, both at importation in FM and more if on PDF export.

  I tried all the import options, work with native files (ex..) IA) and with JPEG or other format, as well as exports of importing the files themselves directly and import by reference.

  I also tried tweaking the settings 'Image' of PDF, removing any compressor to see if it would help, which was not.

  In the end, the best results come in fact of JPEG files imported, which are a little blurry, but (relatively) usable, given the alternatives. The Illustrator files that I want to use are just terrible, they are completely bitmap when exported to PDF.

  It is also interesting to note that I do not experience this problem when using the FM, drawing tools. The output of these graphic files on the printer and the PDF format is excellent, quality vector art.

  I find it unusual that I'll have this problem and see no further mention of him in the forums. He is originally from severe pain and delays on my project, so if anyone saw him, it would be greatly appreciated.

  First, you mention using FM unpatched, but you don't mention any particular reason you have not applied the hotfixes, can you elaborate on that? What version you use, then?  The latest version is 9.03 aka p250, as shown in the help > about.

  There are several fixes to the generation of PDF in the two le.02.03 update and then it would be the #1 recommendation.

  Second thing, it's to tell us

  (1) how do you create PDF files, you use Save as or you print to a print file,

  (2) what printer you have set as default (in FM) when you create the PDF file
