Export PDF XFA portfolio

Hello

I have a series of XFA (designed by LC DS ES) forms which are then combined in one portfolio of Acrobat (Acrobat 9 Pro Ext).

I want to be able to "export" a form of portfolio by the user who clicks on a button.

Although Acrobat is a menu item "File-save to portfolio", I won't use that I want to block fields once the form has been saved to the portfolio.

I tried exportDataObject, but without success. Also tried to get the form open in a new window, but no joy!

In short, I want a script button that when clicked, will open this particular form in a new window; block certain fields and then save the form outside the portfolio (leaving the original intact and unchanged).

Any ideas?

Thank you

Niall

OK I understood what is happening. There is a list of acceptable execMenuItems which can be used in a future release. If the menu command is not on the list then it can not be used (for security reasons). So our idea out the attachment via this method will not work. I don't see a way to do until they expose orders portfolio in the world of Javascript. This explains also why some of your orders worked and others did not. Here is the list of the sanctioned MenuItems:

  • Exported PDF printing problem

    Hello

I prepare my students portfolio of architecture with InDesign to print with Lulu, a print on demand (lulu.com) online service.  After several series of test prints with pdf export different options, I'm stumped on some colors produced.  My CAD drawings many gray representative lines hatches or distant construction lines... These keep printing with a red gradient / purple / blue / green, despite several attempts to reconfigure my color management settings (both with 'none' and "convert to CMYK").  Most of these files is .ai files placed in InDesign... of course they appear correctly on my screen on the original file and the exported pdf file.  In addition, files print correctly on printers laserjet color at school, so I'm starting to think it may be a problem with Lulu.

Anyone know if this is something I am doing wrong, or if this is a common problem with Lulu print?

Thank you very much for the help!

CAD drawings have gray lines representing traps or construction lines away

Most likely, the build of the color of these traps are a percentage of CMY with little or no black. If this is the case, the construction of color should be just a percentage of black.

  • Export PDF problems

I subscribe to the export of Adobe. When I press export to PDF format to convert a PDF to Microsoft word, nothing happens.

What I can do. I can't communicate directly with Abobe help

    Hi stephenp72406785,

I would advise you to go to "cloud.acrobat.com", connect using Adobe ID and then in main menu, select the option "export to PDF". Then follow the instructions on the screen to export pdf files to word or excel.

You can also use Adobe Reader DC (free Version) for the conversion of the files, please refer to this Article:- convert or export PDF files to the file formats, Adobe Acrobat

If the problem persists then you need to contact the representative of cat so that they can help after checking account & service Details using their tools by going to:- contact customer service

I would like to know if it works.

  • Overview of the issues when exporting pdf from InDesign

    Hello

I'm working on PC, Windows 7, InDesign of CS5. I had several problems with executives of color filled not appearing is not in the preview of an exported pdf file, different file, same problem. The files 'prints' very well. For example, I have a page that contains a logo, two lines of text in the Arial font, two photo .jpg (CMYK) and a background color solid process. When I export to PDF (I tried all the options available to me) the colorful background does not appear in the preview. I can send this file to the printer and it prints exactly as set upward in InDesign. I also systematically deleted each item separately and re-exported the same results each time. I even deleted everything on the page with just the colorful box. Same result. I did drag the elements on a page in a new document. Same result.

Thoughts? Does anyone else know this? I looked for further discussions on this topic, but couldn't find one just like her.

    Thank you!

Check your Acrobat preferences under the Page display and do not forget the large images are enabled, and under accessibility and make replace safe colors is not.

    Hi Sarah!

I solved it! I had to use the original URL shorter links to create

functional hyperlinks or try to short the links using Google URL Shortener.

I don't know why it worked by doing this, but he did!

With the friendly and happy greetings!

  • Export PDF in Hebrew to Excel will do the reverse words

    Hi all

    I'm using Acrobat Professional DC2015 12.0

I'm trying to convert a PDF in Hebrew to Excel, everything seems to go well except the words that are reversed.

This has happened in all files pdf in Hebrew, I tried to convert, (in English works very well).

Conversion and export of same PDF to Word works very well.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

This was a known problem in Acrobat. Export PDF to other formats currently does not support right to left languages. In fact, I reported this as a bug inside Adobe a few years ago...

  • How to stop the menu showing "export pdf, create pdf, edit pdf, comment" etc

How to stop the menu showing "export pdf, create pdf, edit pdf, comment" etc. which always appear on the right side of the screen every time I open a pdf file?  We do not pay for any of these functions and may not use it.  The menu takes a good amount of screen and is quite annoying to have to hide whenever I open a pdf file.

  • 'Convert pdf to Excel' vs 'export pdf to Excel.

In the new subscription CD, the option of PDF conversion options ($ 1.99 / month) says we can "Convert pdf to Excel", while the PDF package option ($ 7.99 / month) says you can "export pdf to Excel.  What is the difference between 'Convert pdf to Excel' and 'export pdf to Excel?

    'Marketing' talk.

Is the file being developed 'PDF' and PDF format published by Adobe for ISO a few years ago.

In the Adobe PDF Reference documents and now in ISO 32000-1: 2008 (and the following; 'Part 2') 'export' PDF is described - not "convert".

Factually, it would be 'export '. So 'convert' seems to be a malignant fever of marketing.
