  I run the screen printing Department at a large shipping company, and as we grow, we are trying to integrate & computerize our workflow. 95% of the creations that we have on file are built like spot color in Illustrator.

  We are trying to automate some functions here at the Department, producing of the screen, as a computerized inventory of the screens at hand. When we have a screen of images, you will get a barcode label and then we can * beep * in the inventory. When get us a screen we can * beep * out of the inventory. My thought is that it would be a metric ton faster than to wander around the store looking for screens when clients placed reorders.

  To do this, I learned to generate a worksheet with the name of each color in the drawing in its own field of a spreadsheet, so that they can be used to fill our inventory system and are they assigned SKU.

  I can do it manually, but it'll take some time. What I was hoping somehow without enthusiasm for a was a way to export the names of all shades spots used in a design in the form of text, if all goes well delimited by tabs so that it can be copy / pasted into a spreadsheet.

This should be installed with CS and is expected to be in you "Adobe Utilities" folder / utilities. Open this app make new document paste the above and save the file with what you want to call it with the file suffix/extension ".jsx. Quit Illustrator pop this file in the folder "Scripts" illustrators "Presets" relaunch Illustrator, he should be here. It requires in fact any Illustrator.

  Try these steps and check the result.
  a. in the Contacts folder: change the display «Détails»
  b. right-click on the 'Name' column header, click on "First name", then click on 'Last Name'
  c. click on "Last Name" to sort by this order, or click on the title "First Name" to sort by this order.

  e. click the column 'Name' position... it cycles through 4 different kinds

  Is there a way to export a list of all the button names in each section of an Excel sheet to spread or another form? If anyone knows of a script that does that it would work to.

  We do not want to have to go to each button in each article and each copy and past to an Excel doc.

  Try the forum script InDesign. Even if you can get the names in an InDesign table, which could easily be copy and paste to Excel.

  Regular Collections are just text files and are located at the following locations:-

  Mac: Users / [user] / Library/Preferences/Adobe/Bridge CC/Collections

  Windows 7: users / [user] / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Bridge CC/Collections

I tried different ways to help automate it, but it seems to only be able to export .txt files in Excel.   I can't help you with Automator, but there is a solution.

  1. launch Firefox.

  2. drag the folder with the files in the Firefox window. (The example is a folder of image files)

  

  3 - Select all the entries on the page in Firefox:

  
  4 - Open Excel and paste it into a spreadsheet:

  

  5 - remove the size and last modified columns. To remove the links reformat the text column.

  Currently, there is no function to select specific address book fields when you export a mailing list or address book to a .csv file.

  However, after you open the .csv file in Excel or OpenOffice.org Calc, it's simple to highlight more columns, right-click and select delete, and then save the file. Just tried it myself and completed the changing/deleting columns etc. in less than 10 seconds. Thus, it is not difficult and extremely fast.

  I know this isn't what you prefer, but it works very easily, is easy to learn.

  Ah, you are after the total size of the virtual machine just hard drives, no virtual machines provided dimensions on a data store.  So, Yes, you can continue to use the cmdlet Get-disk hard as you had in your first example, but written as such in order to allow operations on the result:

  Get-VM | Select-Object Name,@{n="HardDiskSizeGB"; e={(Get-HardDisk -VM $_ | Measure-Object -Sum CapacityGB).Sum}}
  

  This route can be a bit slow, especially as your environment is greater.  If it is too slow, then we can use all the best buddy, Get-View.

  This is not photo - it is a function of the viewing program (probably the finder) - once the photos are exprted form pictures you can see then in different ways which you control, Photos does not - by the finder you can view by name of son, byt several dates, by file size, etc.

  Usually, the best way to accomplish what you want is to export using the names of batch file numbeing and then sort by file name in the program viewing

  While it is not a way to export a list of all your books in the iBooks app, you can see all your books within the application itself. On a Mac, you have several options for viewing your iBooks, all listed through the top center of the application.

  1. Under the books section, you will see all your books and their covers. A cloud in the upper right corner icon means that you bought the book, but it is not downloaded to your device.

  2. Under the Collections section, you will have the option to search through all the purchases of your iBook as well as of different categories such as books, files, PDF and the current (which shows iBooks you are currently reading).

  3. The authors section allows you to see all your iBooks, sorting by author.

  4. The Categories section lists all your iBooks by category, for example, Action & adventure, Fantasy or Biographies.

  5. Finally, the section of list displays all your iBooks, in alphabetical order, in a list. You also be able to see the title, author, category, collection, read last date, date added, size, and that he has downloaded on your device, or even in the cloud.
