• Variables of text for other file Formats?

  Hey,.

  I was wondering if there was a way to load text variables of, say, a text file or XML file instead of an InDesign file.

  What I want to accomplish is to create 5 versions of a catalog, with the only difference being the setting of prices for each product.

  Ideally, I would like to have a text, Excel or XML file containing a price for each product, and I just load different files with variables for different catalogs.

  I thought I could use for this text Variables, but it seems to me that the only way to load them into InDesign is manually, each of them; and with 600 + products in the catalogue, it's doesn't sound too pleasant.

  Is there a way to accomplish what I want?

  as far as I know, there is no way of actually importing text variables - they must be entered manually.

  have you considered using diapers for the base and 5 different sets of prices? his lazy, but once the prices are set up for a variety (over the course of a text that flows over data that refers to) the layer could be duplicated and the second price variety is inserted, etc.?

  for me, it would depend on how the project is at the moment (e.g. all finished but now go anywhere as text variables don't work; or still on the drawing board) because if the doc does not for the moment, implementation of the document using XML data may be the way to go If you are familiar with the long documents and XML I found that it is learning steep curve that, it all works takes me forever to make it work.

  have you thought to other plug-ins that make the catalogs using indesign, like emcatalog, cacidi livemerge, easycatalogCS or other?

  I searched all over the internet for it know but nothing and nowhere.

  There is the obviously supported, such as JPEG, PNG, and PSD (which, at that time, flattens when imported, note PS touch copy that the imported image, it does not change to the original image). PSDX is the native format PS Touch own. RAW is not supported at this time. I have not tried the other file formats (yet).

• Lightroom exported CC JPG file format not valid

  I had two clients today say that files I sent them (exported from Lightroom) wouldn't upload to their Web site due to an invalid file type being, it was the mistake, they got when you try to download. Initially, I thought it was just something on their end because the two were not very computer savvy. However, after thinking about this I realized these my first two projects since the upgrade to Lightroom CC. I double checked all my settings export everything seems the same to me and I use the same workflow I always do. I can't test it myself as I don't have access to the sites they were using. I'm curious to know if anyone has had problems with JPG exported, or there may be a setting I missed somewhere?

  I opened the peak of the sample into 12 Mac and Windows programs and uploaded to Flickr and Zenfolio, and none complained (see list below).  I looked at the file with Exiftool and added some examples of metadata - Exiftool usually issues a warning if the file format is not strictly conform to the standards.

  So this peut be a case where the file produced by LR strictly conform to the industry standards but has a domestic provision which is not usually used, tripping a software that does not properly implement the standards.  It already happened at least once in the previous versions of LR, and Adobe changed LR to avoid the problem.   I see hints of this possibility in the dump Exiftool - JPEGs produced by LR CC have 102 unused after the TIFF header bytes, while typical JPEGs do not have these unused bytes.

  You can test this hypothesis very quickly: open the sample peak in the CC of Photoshop (or another editor if you don't have Photoshop) and save it on with Save as the same level of quality.  (Other programs don't usually write these bytes unused header.)   Ask your customers to try to download this version.

  In addition, ask your customers for the exact error message (letter for letter) and the software that powers their Web sites.   That could give better clues.

  I want to export data as a column using the calculation script. Currently, period and the scenario is dense and others are rare in my essbase database. I export data from real-world scenario, several accounts and level zero times. In the export file essbase automatic level adjustment zero period (week 1 to week 53) in the header column and other dimension 2 online. I want to change the format of the export file by using calculation. I want the script as column heading and all other dimension to be online. Is there a way I can specify the export file format. I used all export settings, but nothing works.

• How to cut a clip and export using the same file format

  I use CS6 on a Windows 7 system. I have a MB 304, 8 HR record from a workshop that I put on recently and I would like to extract the different sections of the workshop in their own files.

  Here's the info from the source file:

  My ideal solution is to delimit work areas that cover the section I want to extract and then export it to the target file by using the same parameters as the source file.

  So, can you go down to set rates manually? It's been a while since I used CS6, but I think that the option was there... and something you can do to help, is to say MediaInfo on your computer...

  Drag & drop your clip on that, it will tell you the exact wrapper and the codec used, including the bitrates & such. You will know exactly what your current clip is this way. Build a preset to match.

  The .ncor file is simply a project file again and does not contain the contents of your drive. It cannot be converted into what that it is, nor should it. What you want to accomplish?

  Oracle itself has no tools to export in csv or excel format. You have to search third-party tools such as Toad or the Torah.

  Do you have MS Outlook installed on your computer?

  Windows mail import and export opportunities are limited to an Outlook .pst file or an Exchange Server mailbox. They are available only if MS Outlook is installed.
  If MS Outlook is not installed and you start an import or export action, the necessary support files are not present for Windows mail complete the operation. Then I suggest you to install Outlook temporarily and see if the problem is resolved.

  Follow the instructions below and check if the problem is resolved.

  1. reboot your computer, and then start Windows Mail.
  2. on the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. in the connection tab, click on edit to open the Internet Properties dialog box.
  4. in the tab programs, click on an application other than Windows mail e-mail in the e-mail list. Click on apply and then click OK.
  5. click OK again to close the Options dialog box.
  6. exit Windows mail and restart Windows mail.

  If this does not work, I suggest you upgrade to Windows Live Mail to import or export messages that may help you resolve the issue.

  For Acrobat DC for iOS, would you make sure you upgrade to the latest version 15.0.3 (as of April 30, 2015)?

  For Acrobat DC for Android, you can choose "Comment" by the selector tool.

  My question is the sound quality of the BEST CD, do I have to convert the music I bought, with is in the ACC Audio, Apple Lossless file format, then burn to the CD? There should just go with the Audio of the right VAC on CD file. I ask this for music that I bought. All the other songs I imported CD into itunes is already Apple Lossless. I am not concerned about the larger files, just to get the best sound quality for CD.

  I see you are eager to learn more about the quality of the music, and if you can do something else to get them to a better quality.  Now it is possible to convert your AAC to Apple Lossless files, the only change you will see is a significant increase of disk space being absorbed by these songs.  Simply put, you can put the lossless format, but you will hear no audio enhancement.  In addition, encoded AAC files downloaded from the iTunes Store already compete with the quality that you hear on a CD of music retail:

  AAC encoded files compete with the quality of the audio CD and sound as good or better than MP3 files encoded in same or even a high sampling rate. For example, a 128 kbps AAC file should sound as good or better than a 160 Kbps MP3 file. Because the flow is weaker, the AAC file is also smaller than the MP3 file.

  Hi jerryferreira, Sync created this Mobile bookmarks folder? Since it is not in the 3 standard containers, I think you might need to copy it in the bookmarks Menu. Of course, this creates a risk of duplication while Sync is active. Don't know what to suggest to avoid this.
