Extension Manager CC - Installation failed - cannot retrieve files (EX20)

I tried again and again install the extensions Manager and still get this error. I tried to restart CC, restart my laptop, etc. I installed other CC applications without problem. I am on Windows 7, who, if you say so, that's what you get for running Windows 7, I don't disagree, but that's what my employer myself with stuck.

Any who still works in the whole of this issue or more importantly, a solution?

  • VMware vCenter Update Manager Client installation fails

    I have a system that has been upgraded to ESX 3.5 to vSphere and installed successfully the vSphere Client, can see my hosts and virtual machines without any problem.  I install the plugin VM converter, but when I try to install the plugin Update Manager it fails every time.

    I'm installing on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer (my laptop is also Win7 64 bit and it installed successfully there).  I tried to install the application and get the error message in the Windows application logs:

    Product: VMware vCenter Update Manager Client - Setup cannot continue. VMware vSphere Client is not found to be installed on this computer. VMware vCenter Update Manager Client can be installed only on machines where VMware vSphere Client is present.

    I've already entered my store of % TEMP % and tried to install just the exe file (VMware - UMClient.exe) and who is not, I copied the extracted files, including all the files .ini, .bmp, .msi and .mst to the root of my C drive and tried installing from there.  All this provided the same failure.

    During the installation, I get this message first indicating the location of my vSphere Client installation:

    When I click on the only 'real' installation option, then spend a few seconds and then I get this message:

    Click ok and then get a message saying that the installation has failed.

    I managed to do install finally.

    The strange solution was that I had to log on as an administrator of my machine and then install the plugin.  Even if my account is an administrator account.

    Anyway, problem solved, works perfectly and am clean now.

    I wish everyone help to make this simple, I found no answers on the net - when you want to decompress files/folders, my menu doesn't include files 'extract all' on my vista program.  Why wouldn't be - and it is not logical that I have to ask this when installing...     What happens if you double click on (2 left clicks) on the file compressed? It opens?

    If it opens and on this new window, there not a button " extract all files " upward to the toolbar?

    IM USING WINDOWS 10 AND KEEP THIS ERROR download Dreamweaver cc

    Ex 20 is an extraction error.

    Adobe Creative Cloud application will download Compressed file to the Temp folder and then extract it to the same folder, where is the problem.

    Delete the Temp folder once, and then try again.

    Please confirm if this error is coming because of the failure to update ExMan. PS as you should update now, check the same by Ps-> on Photoshop.

  • Why Adobe Application Manager doesn't stop downloads the installation fails because of corruption AAM

    Adobe Application Manager - if installation fails for the first of all the products of CS6 Cloud with note that "MAO is damaged and must be reinstalled" why not ARREST all the others download (which then also fail for the same exact reason!) AAM?

    In countries like here (New Zealand) who still have restrictive limits on their downloads, this would be VERY USEFUL!

    The error message stated that the MAA has been damaged and I should reinstall. However, I tried again (without reinstalling the AAM - I'm an optimist!) and all applications have now installed successfully.

    Here's what worked for me on Mac OS 10.6.8.

    I trashed manually the CS6 Adobe Extension Manager to my Applications folder.

    I have redownloaded the extensions here CS6 Manager: http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/

    I reinstalled the CS6 EM, then ran Adobe Application Manager, then the update installed fine.

    Never restarted. Just went well the steps.

    Yes, the user was already part of the admin groups. In any case, using even install Setup, I was able to install Mirage 5.4 with no problems. Don't know which increased with 5.3.
