  I have just started using Firefox, but I noticed a strange "characteristic" (I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, so the quotes). I'm used to the opera, and that is where by when I double click on some text, the text will be automatically selected. Firefox does something like this, but for some reason any I don't yet understand that it adds extra space at the beginning or at the end of the selection. It is a problem for someone like me who, for work, did a lot of copy / paste. I use web software that doesn't tolerate extra spaces and this feature/bug will end up causing some problems.

  You can start by selecting the text and by changing alignment upward, line spacing on "Exactly", and reducing as much as possible, probably something close to the size of actual police, but you will always have a space above and below.

  I have a basic report with a column that is one concatenation of other columns (used for the formatting break), and I want to give the effect that it has always separated "columns" in the concatenation. I tried to use CHR (9) and RPAD in the SQL query to add the 'spaces', but as soon as Apex gets hold of it, the extra spaces are deleted and I find myself with only a single space.
  
  It does the same thing when the value "view as" is replaced by "standard report column" or any "display as text".

  The specification HTML user agents support if collapse the white space characters, so the spaces and ASCII tabs in options will be treated as a single space.

  I am text to load an xml file that has a few CDATA as well as < span class > inside.  The xml file would look like this:

  The problem I get is when I put the CDATA text in a textfield, an extra space is added after the < / span. That is to say. "with a text followed by a comma,".  This space is added only if there is some kind of punctuation immediately following </span > in the xml document.  I tried to get rid of it with regular expressions and split() .comes but nothing worked.

  My XP VM disk space had been created to 12 GB for quite some time, because of the small hard drive of the MBP. Now that there are a lot of available space on a larger drive, I have reset disk space 30 GB settings. Merger executed change and all looks as it should in the revised arrangements. BUT in the Windows virtual machine, using Explorer or a third-party file manager, the system reports I've used 10.5 GB of space, which is true and that there are 1.5 GB free, which, I hope, is not. It should be 21.5 GB free.

  Any ideas on this subject?

  What you were doing was just resize the virtual HARD disk (you can see the new size in the Disk Manager). In order to use the extra space in your virtual Windows machine, you also have the opportunity to extend the Windows partition. You can do that using a tool third 3rd like gparted or - if you have - a Windows 7 DVD, start in recovery mode and use diskpart to extend the partition.

  I studied the issue and found that you are using the code embedded within the text frame. It is originally the extra white space between the text and shape. I suggest to close the text at the end of the text back to the top, then add the code for the form and make another block of text for the text background. I tested it on your site and it worked fine.

  When the hide/show sections, I get more space that I don't want. I was not able to understand how to remove extra space.

  There is a post at http://forums.adobe.com/message/3708111 where I have adapted the following simple example. When the section that alternate you power is hidden, you will see there is more space between the text of the first and the second static. There should be less space (as seen between the second and third static text). Any ideas on how to avoid the extra space?

• DW still adding extra spaces to the code

  I feel always the question of the DW by inserting extra spaces between each of my lines of code when I get the file from the server.  I put the file with a normal spacing, then I get the same file and it comes with extra spaces.  It's driving me crazy!  I have to re - format each page whenever I have catch the server!  It happens with DW CS3, and a friend told this to happen with DW CS4.  Is there a setting that controls DW of NO change or re-formatting of the files when I get them from the server?  Help, please!

• Error in the REST Web Service with the text output Format

  I am referencing a REST web service and can successfully connect to it and retrieve the results with the output XML value Format.
  
  I don't need the node values, I want to just grab the entire XML string and fill a table with her column.
  
  When I create a new Rest web service reference, including the text output Format value and then create a form/report to run it, I get the following error when I click on "send":

  Request Express waiting for answer text actually be answer text, delimited by other characters that denotes a new value and a new Recordset. You should leave the response as XML. The XML document will be stored in the column xmltype01 in the collection that you specify. You can then convert this column xmltype01 in a clob, if you like using the. toClobVal().

  There are only two lines in the table:

  When you insert a new row into the table, TDATE is always the current date, which is obtained from sysdate. The CONF column is a unique 'confirmation number' in the format YYMMDD plus a number of series of 4 characters, i.e., on the same operations have the first 6 characters of the same and only the last four padded different serial number. I tried the following SQL code:

  This isn't an answer to your question. Just two remarks.

  (1) (select to_char (sysdate, 'YYMMDD') of double) can be transformed into to_char (sysdate, 'YYMMDD'). I.e. There is no need to select double for this.
  (2) why don't you use a sequence? Do you realize that when two transactions execute the insert at the same time, they will have the same "serial number"?

• extra space strikes next to the address of the Web site

  I had just updated my Firefox to the latest version (29.0.1), and it restarted, as soon as I noticed hits extra space next to the space where you type the address of the site. The extra space seems to be the lock with the address, because I can't move the extra space when you try to customize the toolbar (like how you can't move the address). I would try the "restore default" Customize, and does not remove the space. The extra space is not the search bar, and does not seem to use the extra space, so I wonder what's the point really? or if it's a random bug?
