  It sounds as if you have installed the base driver. There is more software available. What was download it should have been more than 117 MB. If the download was @ 37 MB, then it's the base driver.

  My printer has a paper jam and the paper was pulled out of the front (wrong way). The printer feeds through but does not actually print. Is this fixable or is the garbage bin of the printer?   I understand that you had a paper jam in the printer all-in-one HP Deskjet F2480 that was removed incorrectly and as your printer prints blank pages of your Windows 7 computer. I would like to help you to solve this problem for you today.

  I will first of all, did you try to print a report on the print quality standalone:

  1. make sure that you have plain white, letter size paper loaded in the paper feeder.

  2. press and hold the Power button () and the Cancel button () for 10 seconds. The long self-test report prints.

  

  If all fine print: That the problem you are experiencing is not a hardware problem, as the color and black print for you. On the contrary, it's perhaps now a problem with a driver or configuration on your computer.

  If black doesn't print color but not: That paper jam may affect your printing system. Please click here to go through the steps of troubleshooting a print quality.

  If a blank page prints: I can you have click here to launch the jam troubleshooting steps. It is important that ensure us that no other documents or debris is in your path of paper and ink block to go on your pages. It is also important to check the transport box that controls your ink cartridges to move left right inside your printer. If the transport is defective, ink will not print.

  I have a new laptop HP 355 G2, but I'm having trouble to print all Word documents, using my trusty Deskjet 2480 all-in-one printer.  A message appears telling me to enroll in E-print (or something like that). It only allows to you save or cancel the print job.  Check the Control Panel, it shows HP E-Print with a green check mark by it.

  I have no idea what E-printing and would appreciate advice in order to print my documents (especially the WORD) in the usual way.  All my sons are correct in place and the correct light on the printer show.

  I should be able to provide assistance in the matter of the Eprint.  EPrint is assign your printer its own email address and you can send the document to him.  Looks like the Eprint driver has been added to your printers and devices window.

  I recommend to open devices and printers and remove the Chuck Eprint and make your printer the default printer.  To access the devices and printer click on the Start button.  It should appear on the right side of the start menu.  Once you're in devices and printers, select Eprint and click on remove the device at the top of the window.  Then right-click on the Printers icon and make it the default printer.

• copy on the printer button does not work

  I have Deskjet F2480 printer and I get no response when you press the buttons copy, b & w or color. I just totally updated my drivers and softward version 14 and it did not help. With my other computer and version 13 software, a few months ago the buttons were working. My new laptop is a HP Pavilion Notebook G6. I got the version of the software printer 13 front and the buttons don't work then. I use Windows 7. What can I do to get my copy on the printer buttons to operate? There is no copy the selection into the software.

  I have a new HP laptop with windows 8 and tried setting to the top of my HP Deskjet F2480 printer by connecting the usb cable.

  2. right-click the Deskjet F2480 printer icon and select Printer Preferences

• Scanning documents problem

  I have problems with scanning documents on my f2480 printer HP Deskject.

  I can't scan multiple pages of a document at the same time. When I finished a scan page, the printer immediately gives me the prompt to mark imported files and there is no option to continue scanning several pages of a document. This means that I have some separate files for each page of a document.

  I would recommend to use the HP scanner software to scan from the comptuter and in the scan window, you will be able to choose both save in a .pdf file and under "Advanced" options select analyze in a single document.

• HP F2480 - aligning not printing labels

  my HP F2480 is a great little Office all in one, but I've never been able to print labels in word (office 2007). There seems to be a problem with the alignment and the tags do not match the model selected in word. It is strange, however, that sometimes when I come to print on a normal A4 sheet it works fine. So I guess that it may be the different thickness of the sheet of labels.

  In any case if someone has had this problem or could help me that would be great. ~

  HI - you might try defining the type of automatic paper of plain paper in the printer driver, printing of labels.  If it works fine on plain paper, it might have to do with the automatic paper sensor.
