• Mac won't start...

  I installed a legitimate copy of windows 10 on my iMac end 2012.  It started windows very well, but the Bootcamp software has to be installed.  The computer has always been easy to use, restart and holding down the hold option key to return to OS X.  It's very dull after a few months.  I downloaded and tried to install the Bootcamp software for the machine, the installation went well until what it has restarted.  Now, my machine will not boot.

  I press the power button, I hear the start up, the screen remains blank, then I hear a less prominent startup and the screen remains blank.  Reboot and try to access recovery or boot disks work holding down 'opt '.  It's just a white screen.

  I tried to connect an external monitor in case the display went wrong, nothing helps.  My assumption is that drivers who got installed when installing the bootcamp software are not compatible...

  Someone has encountered this, or know a solution?  I don't mind wiping the entire system, I've already replaced the machine with a new, bigger and better, but would like to have it in service again.

  I have OS X 10.6.6 and received 10 PSE as a gift on the disc.  Try to install and after insert first disk - he does not recognize the disc and will not play.  I have QuickTime and other DVDs play fine.  I opened the files to disk and tried to open the files... nothing worked.

  Have you tried the drive just 3?  Education (very limited and lack desperately) on the disc itself says "install for mac os: start with a 3 disc.

  We have the latest mac pro machine functioning as a construction of host 5.5.0 esxi 2718055.  We have setup the virtual Mac machine of the as a waiter in a magic triangle to our Mac OSX windows domain configuration.  Everything was up and running for some time now not really used because we delayed the purchase of our projected deployment Mac until this year.  I logged on today, and he says he has several updates and necessary to restart, so we issued the command reboot. Now the machine won't start upward.  It starts the boot process you see the Apple logo and progress bar starts moving on a 1/4 of the way and then it just turned off. I tried several of the commands below in the link, but nothing works, it just turns off. I tried to use my mac with vm ware fusion and the connection to the host and always change. I have triple checked that I am in the comments window active when you press these commands, but the problem is it only stays on during approximately 5 seconds then stops. I have removed from the inventory of esxi and re added, as well as restarted the ESXi host as well.  The virtual machine is sitting on the local storage of the esxi server.

  Has anyone else had a problem similar to this?  I'm getting to this section and the progress bar starts to go, but then stops and turns off virtual machine.  How can I enter in address this further.

  

  Okay, so I went through the list and now I got using the command option r. tried before but maybe I press the keys long enough.  I was using my mac book pro and pro fusion to do all this. Couldn't make it work when you use the client heavy vsphere on my windows machine. Repair disk permissions is grayed out. I ran check disk permissions and got a ton of errors, ran check disk and he stopped saying repair the disk. Ran repair disk and he stopped to say that he cannot repair the disk, backup as many files as possible, reformat the drive and restore your backup files.

  Is there another way to try to fix this sucker, or is he at this point a POS and build a new one?

  I found a way to solve this problem! This is only a temporary fix and it dosent charge the battery, but I can use the mac on AC only when it is plugged so that's how it happened the charger is plugged into the mac and socket is in the same loop as explained above, then when I remove the battery leads to the mother board or logic board do not know who , but one at the top, then the mac tries to start u see the Apple screen and then it turns off back. Then after a few seconds the fan starts and SIL flashes 4-5times and turns off, then starts again now, when I connect the battery cables again once (while the lights flash) now it starts perfectly and without brand X on the battery icon it shows not charging and the task kernel upward a big piece of my ram There is absolutely no free ram, I found the culprit core task and it is a process owned by the root, that it was something like coreutd I have strength that quitting smoking and the RAM is free as usual when I restart I have to go through all these things that I've done to start the first time and this time another process owned by the root with the task of kernel so I stop and ram is normal again every time I restart the ram is completely sold out

• MacBook Air 11 "2012 won't start

  My MacBook has been in place and become Finder does not always whenever I try to watch my files.

  So I decided to restart and now it won't start, the startup would always freeze in the middle of the progress bar.

  I tried:

  Repair/check disk + permissions - no problem

  Reset NVRAM memory - still does not start

  Reset SMC - still does not start

  I tried single - user drive is quite well

  Reinstalling OSX - cannot run due to 'this article is temporarily unavailable.

  Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive

  HD recovery start: restart the computer after the ring, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

  Repair the hard drive and permissions: at startup, select in the main menu disk utility. Repair hard disk and permissions as follows.

  When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab, and then click the repair disk button. If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then again run repair disc until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions . Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu.

  Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than Wi - Fi and more reliable.

  If you have no success with the above, try:

  Install or reinstall OS X from scratch

  Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

  HD recovery start:

  Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

  Erase the drive:

  1. select in the main menu disk utility and click on the continue button.

  2. once the charges of THE select your boot volume (usually Macintosh HD) in the

  See replace your preferences for folder locations and does not start under new inDesign CC | Adobe Community for instructions to set the permissions on the Mac. Procedure is similar on Windows.

  I'm on OS 10.4 on my Mac, PS Elements 3.0 used to function correctly, but for some reason, it won't start. When I click on the icon in my dock it starts to open but then it stops and I get the message error that the application of unexpectedly.   If so, then go to applications > PSE 3 > plugins > import/export and adobe TWAIN driver trash (note that if you have an Epson scanner it may not work right to post-secondary studies after doing this).
