Fail of the Ethernet Driver after reboot

Hello

Model laptop T400, TYPE 6475-K22

After restarting the laptop I found yellow colour mark (!) on driver ethernet in device manager.i reinstalled two or three times, is not taking the ip address of the dhcp server, if I give also manually it will not work. I plugged a USB stick to the converter, his work's LAN adapter. What will be the reason for this? is it a hardware problem or a software problem?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you

It was a software problem. Its winxp pro operating system. There was conflict between the network driver and audio driver. First of all, I uninstalled the driver of network and reinstalled the latest version but did not work. Then I uninstalled both sounds and reinstalled again network drivers, now his work has begun. I don't know why its implementation contradiction? It's the second laptop im facing the same issue.

  • System Restore error: "the changes to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.»

I had some problems with my computer recently I knew could be solved with the system restore.  Then I went into system restore and went to a restore point that was a few weeks back.  After I clicked on it and pressing the ok button, the following message appeared: "the changes made to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.»  I let it continue and do the restore.  My computer has rebooted and came up with an error in system restore that says restore failed.  It's the same thing with other restore points.  I don't know why I get this error because I not made any changes to this hard drive except for copy of a document word on him.  I thought that the System Restore monitors removable disks.  Anyone know what is happening here and how I can get the restoration of the system to operate without the mistakes to come?

I have Norton.  Disable the Tamper Protection works.  I also noticed that since the G: drive was a portable hard drive, System Restore wanted to exercise oversight.  He wants to monitor all hard drives.  Turn on external and portable hard disks prevents tracking system restore changes to the readers.  I don't think anyone would have the system restore review external drives anyway.  It is not necessary.

  • Not ready external hard drives after reboot

You have a weird question, or perhaps I should say one on that I can't find something. I've dealt with it for years and finally had enough of it. Rarely, I restart my Mac, do not need, is not something that happens often. But on the question.

I have an iMac of 2015, internal SSD, or merge, I suppose, and a couple of external hard drives attached. Both are 4TB readers, by USB (for backups) and FireWire (for data, applications, iTunes library, photos, etc.). Both work perfectly during normal use.

The question is when I reboot. My hunch is that these external drives are not fill their mental health checks / faster the drive internal system files, and when the OS is logged in, all the stuff on my external drives (in this case, my iTunes library) is not found. Of course, everything I do is point iTunes to the external drive and everything is fine (well, that and tell him where to find my wallpaper because it doesn't by default mountain landscape photo!).

So I'm wondering - is there a way to delay the start of the BONE or the final control until external drives are online? Not a huge problem, but why not. I'm tired of fixing stuff when I reboot. Or else, is something to not configured right and the cause? Hmm.

    What do you say?

Try to connect the external disk after reboot completed if he could climb.

  • How to install the ethernet driver for pavilion a808x on windows 7 (origin) supplied with XP

This computer was originally a copy of XP on it and I've upgraded to Windows 7 and now it won't let me connect to the internet and I went to check out the menu drivers and the ethernet driver was a yellow triangle next to him. I do not think that HP supports this model specific to windows 7? Any driver (hp or 3rd party) would be welcomed as long as it works, thanks!

The simplest solution would be to install a PCI network card. They are pretty cheap.

Windows 7 Realtek drivers are here. They were reported as does not.

Original title: need for disk space

Here are the official specifications of Toshiba for your PC...

    http://support.Toshiba.com/support/staticContentDetail?ContentId=638405&isFromTOCLink=false

All interface PATA (IDE) connectors are a standard 40 pin.

I know that there is no restriction on the mixture of ATA drives with different speed capabilities and no restrictions on what cable you use, whether 40 wire or 80 strand (but still 40 pins).

Faster drives will only work at the speed of the slowest car on any cable and 80 strand cables are needed to make ATA66 or higher drives run at their native speed.

In addition, no player can work faster than the motherboard chipset permits, in your case ATA66.

My provider of trade has still some disks 3.5 '' PATA in stock, but these are becoming harder and harder to find. Indeed, it is possible that production has ceased and that suppliers are just exhausted stocks.

I can certainly say that, when repairs this technology were more frequent, I never had problems with discs theoretically faster on the same cable as slower drives, nor by using faster on 40 cable strands discs. In fact, of many penny pinching manufacturers (some of them major) regularly used for the optical drive and hard drive on the same cable as the motherboard has two connectors, resulting in a decrease in performance on the disk hard (although most of the people would not have noticed the difference). Sometimes, the cable would be 40 strand (understandable if you are penny pinching) and sometimes the cable would be 80 strand (laughable if you are penny pinching because they are [were] more expensive).

Pass your question about vacant below the sound card. Unless your text confused me, this space is for expansion cards no disk drives. Space that you reference is probably to the back of the PC. Hard drives are normally located toward the front of the dedicated PC "berries". Unfortunately, I could find no photo on the Toshiba site, and still less those internal.

I'm not able to use the Ethernet port on the Dynadock since I updated my Windows 8.1 device update 1.
    Before that everything worked well.

I'm not able to re-install the drivers correctly (tried 7.6m0, 7.5m2). While the game driver tries to start, I get an error message, Setup is not able to put a bunch of registry (SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DisplayLinkGA\D evice1) keys (up to 0). (Image 1)

If I ignore these messages and do not install the driver, the Ethernet port will not installed in Device Manager. (Image 2)

If I try to install the driver manually (DisplayLink network adapter NCM), I'll get an error message that a driver has been found but that access has been denied. (Image 3)

  • The computer hangs after reboot cold.

I just bought a HP Officejet AIO 6310xi. After several tests the OEM package will install not (installation failure). From the Web site and out of the CD/DVD included.

I let MS-Vista install drivers and at least the printer works fine until reboot. Then the system freezes upward. Once I have turned the printer off and restart again the computer starts no prob. I have 6300 drivers and suspect that the drivers are up-to-date and incompatible with MS Vista. My computer is only a year old and during the inspection of the hub USB the draw appears in the settings (below 500 mha).

The cable is less than 9 feet long. I have enough computer resources including backbone RAM and HD space.

Is there anyway that I can get Vista drivers for this printer only without going through an arduous process for a long time?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

It seems that the USB driver are to blame. But after I re-installed the new drivers of hub USB the computer always freezes the re-boot. It is not the most recent, I have found yet. The bios does not seem to be a problem because it is a Dec 2006 re - build. I guess it's a matter of waiting until the USB hub drivers are updated.

  • RN204 not reconnect the USB in the port back after reboot.

I don't know if that's a problem, but my new RN204 unit will not see my USB stick after reboot. Key, I inserted into the lower back USBport. Port superior return I got UPS. Inverter is connected ok after reboot.

If the USB is in front of USB port, unit connects OK after reboot. Rear ports, I have to go out and re - insert USB stick after every reboot. Key is detected and mounted after rehabilitation only. (connected external storage device.)

USB drive is Kingston USB 3.0 and my RN104 unit detects that it restarts after all in backport more or less right. (after a reboot it tell me automatically (connected external storage device.))

    FW on the two unit (RN204, RN104) is 6.4.1 - T35, tested on 6.4.0 and 6.4.1 beta 1-2 - all the same.

    Hi all

After you install the new version of FW 6.4.2 (Final, published today), everything looks OK. My RN204 unit reconnect all the USB key, that I tested.

Everything is OK, the Bug disappeared. I think that FW 6.4.2 is the solution to the issue being reported.

    Thanks Netgear.

  • Alienware 14, dysfunctions of the screen after the idling or after reboot - drivers?

    Hello

I have an Alienware 14 I had probably more than a year before, so I'm probably out of warranty now. Fortunately, this problem seems less to do with all the problems of hardware and some weird stuff going on with drivers.

What happens is that after the screen becomes inactive, or after I restarted the computer, the screen goes wonky.  It flashes green (or cyan) and purple lines across, with the upper part of the screen on the bottom.  If I restart the PC often enough, then possibly screen returns to normal and works perfectly fine, no matter how long I keep active to screen.  But then when I have to restart my PC or make it become inactive, I have the problem all over again.

Here is a video that I could find on Youtube that shows an approximate example of display problem and recovery solution:

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=eaqRaqBqwog

This issue started to happen to me in mid-November, after the tool of pre installed nVidia (GeForce experience) prompted me to update my nVidia drivers.  Comments on this video, youtube and other topics like the following, all this seems to be a questionable issue with an update for nVidia drivers.

    en.Community.Dell.com/.../19610218

I tried to restore my GPU driver in September 2014 published version (344.11) and that seems to fix the problem for several reboots.  Then a few hours later, I tried to restart, had the same screen problems, and my GPU driver reverted to the version of 18 November 2014 (344.75).  I don't know that I have the nVidia tool configured to not the automatic update of the GPU driver.

(I don't know if it's related, but when I used http://www.geforce.com/drivers to detect version, Firefox had forgotten that he was authorized to execute Java.)

Is there something else, maybe in the OS (Windows 8.1), which is auto-update the driver GPU?

Is there a way that you can have Windows to stop updating your drivers:
I think this might solve your problem.

Here is a tutorial on how to disable the Windows updated driver.

    Hello

If you have reinstalled the computer using the default value of the plant. Then its likely that the files were copied to the sense that they are not recoverable. Here's a guide on the way in which the files are stored and how you 'can' be able to recover anything.

  • Installation of a dual boot for XP on a Vista - XP installation computer forget the SATA drive after restart required #1

    Hello

I'm trying to set up a dual-boot XPpro on my Vista machine.  I found the instructions detailed at various locations.  I prepared a score of 30G on my SATA drive and booted from my XPpro and XPpro (SP2) retail drives.  The score is quite small because I have only use for some applications.

I have the following problem and I wonder if anyone can help.  The disk and partition is by my SP2 disc, but it's ok that BONE is not used on any other machine.

I can choose the new partition as the location for the new installation of XP.

Installation gets to the point where the first reboot is required, then at startup, I'm stuck on the option 'press any key to boot from the CD-ROM.  I assume that the reader is not detected.  If I try to start from scratch, I get the warning that the new partition already has an operating system on it, but I can reformat and move forward, then arrive at the startup problem re.

There is no XP drivers for my Board, but I can not install them because they are on CD and the only option to load the specific drivers in the first part of install required has a diskette is in the drive, and of course I don't have a floppy drive.

I then use the Startup Repair in Vista I can't move to the stage where XP is installed in fact correctly.

    Any help very welcome!

  • Cannot access the network drive after trying to change the shared folder.

I had a 80 GB drive connected to my E3000 for a few years and it worked without problem. I recently turned to a 250 GB Maxtor One Touch drive. When I plugged it, the router automatically creates a shared folder. I was able to connect to this folder without problem, but I wanted to share the whole score. When I made this adjustment and tried to save the settings, I temporarily lost access to the router. He gave me the standard page cannot be error message appears. When I got access changes seem to be made. When I try to access the drive of my laptop I get this error message, "the mapped network drive could be created", "the name specified network is no longer available". I rebooted and power rolled my router as well reconnected the drive.

I think that since you have replaced your hard drive, old settings are configured may still on the hard drive of old. You can change the users and group so that it syncs with the new hard drive or start from scratch (reformat the hard drive).
