  • HP Envy 13 laptop: Bluetooth doesn't work is not on the HP Envy 13 laptop

    Good afternoon

I recently bought a laptop from HP Envy 13-d004a and could not get working Bluetooth.

Without wireless/bluetooth adapter is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265.

Bluetooth is not listed in the page menu settings/Windows device.

There is no Bluetooth device listed in Device Manager.

There is an unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed) listed under Bus USB controllers I think it is perhaps related to the problem. The State of this poster features 43 code.

So far, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the USB devices and update drivers for USB devices. However, the USB device is unknown, with a warning on the icon symbol.

I also downloaded the latest Intel Bluetooth driver update utility. When I run the installer, or the repair, I get the message

"Intel Bluetooth Service (ibtsiva.exe) could not be installed. Make sure you have sufficient privileges. ». I am connected with administrator privileges when I run the installation program.

So far all my attempts to solve the problem of Bluetooth failed, would be more appreciated all the help I get.

    Thank you

    John

Bluetooth problem has now been resolved on my HP Envy 13-d004na notebook.

Tonight a Synaptics SMBus driver has been downloaded and installed via Windows Update.

After the installation of this driver, I restarted the computer.

After restarting Bluetooth appeared in Device Manager and peripheral USB unknown displayed previously had disappeared from the Device Manager. I tested Bluetooth connectivity and am now able to pair with my Bluetooth mouse.

Surprised, but very happy that the problem has been resolved and that the laptop now seems to be fully functional.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Problems with Bluetooth connectivity

For years I tried to get some Bluetooth designs to work on Windows 7.  I had never succeeded and was convinced, it must be a hardware problem, but a new network controller does not solve the problem.  Even a mouse brand Lenovo brand new, I bought has never been able to connect.  After having tried several forums and proposed corrections, I came finally on a dark patch using MS services to reset the password to logon.  Finally, I was able to use the mouse, I bought about 5 years ago.  This hotfix now allowed me to use my bluetooth designs as I should.  The absence of useful answers is troubling, but the fact that there is still the issue is even more troubling.  A quick search will show you how common is the prblem, and I think that NOT getting a bluetooth device to connect is more common than to make it connect.  Given how long the bluetooth has been around, I find this totally unacceptable, and it seems that MS is unable or refuses to address the issue.  So, what gives?  Is this a problem that will not be fixed anytime soon?  Even with the fix that I applied, bluetooth connectivity is never guaranteed to start, and I always ask myself if I have to go through to reset the password to logon through 'services', restart services, re-login to the design and reload designs them drivers.  I wish I could count on my legacy and connect without any additional steps.  Or I have to wait another ten years before the bluetooth is a viable technology?  I have a $25 speaker that always connected immediately, without fail once.  I think that MS could find a permanent solution to another perfect close of OS, or at least the best I've ever used.

I tried to locate the forum which has the solution that worked for me.  Sorry for the late reply.  The problem occurred on a laptop Lenovo Y530 'Ideapad '.

The fix involved using MS services to reset the "password" under: Bluetooth Support Service > properties > log (tab), select "this account", and then browse to (?) "Local service".  Remove password in local service and confirmation PW.  Select 'apply' and then Windows prompts you to restart the service for new PW.  Select 'ok', and then restart the service.  Once I did my bluetooth products have been 'discovered' and drivers would charge.

Sorry I can't explain it better.  I'll try to find the real tutorial I used.

  • Get a PhotoSmart C5580 to work with a Bluetooth connection in Windows 8

I have a PhotoSmart C5580 for several years.  It was working fine with my old laptop running Windows 7 with USB and Bluetooth.  My new laptop has 8 64-bit Windows and the USB connection works fine, but I can't get the Bluetooth connection to work for the life of me.  The old laptop needed a USB Bluetooth adapter, but the new laptop has Bluetooth built in.

I'm pretty tech savvy and searched through various online and tried the HP Installation Wizard help documents, but they speak mainly on USB and wireless and not on Bluetooth technology.  The Panel has USB and BT printers installed.  BT is currently marked as default printer.  The BT menu on the printer is marked to be visible, and BT options on the computer seem far too, because the computer totally see the BT printer.  The list of Windows 8 devices (two BT and otherwise) lists currently both the USB printer, which according to her, is cause of disconnected the USB cable is disconnected in fact and not the BT printer, he's talking about.

Whenever I have remove the BT printer and add it again, the HP software/driver installs again and says it's successful (even if the driver for the USB connection and the software are already installed and work very well).

The only problem is that the HP Solution Center indicates that the BT printer is disconnected.  It really tells me nothing more than that.  It's the same message that my old laptop would give me if I didn't have the USB Bluetooth adapter plugged in, but here the BT is built, and the computer says it is on and working very well.  So I'm a little confused at this point.  Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

I am delighted to hear that, and I'll pass that along our engineers so that they do not worry. I didn't even really think, but if you leave the USB cord is plugged it will disable the BT adapter in the machine - which could cause prints of BT to fail but not USB prints.

    Have a wonderful day!

  • iPhone bluetooth connectivity 7

I've recently upgraded to the iPhone 7 and have had problems of intermittent connectivity with Bluetooth pairing, especially in my vehicle (Kia Optima), but also sometimes with my bluetooth (Jawbone Jambox Big) speaker. With my iPhone 6s, I could always count on turning on the car or speaker and connect it without fail. Now, my car bluetooth could pair one out of every 10 times. My speakers will pair about 75% of the time. When I try to re-pair the car (a much larger issue) often the iPhone will not see the under its section discovered in Bluetooth Handsfree device. This is not the case with my wifes 6s iPhone (it's also on iOS 10.0.1). Does anyone else have this problem?

Finally someone who has the same problem as me! I had noticed the bluetooth icon blink when I was on the phone setting up ApplePay with my CC company but I just thought it was restore my Apple Watch. Then when I left work I set up my iPhone 7 to work with my stereo handsfree in the car. It is remained connected for a little, but then randomly, he disconnects and refuses to reconnect. He does occasionally with my Apple Watch as well. Yesterday, I feel as if I had a stroke of luck using my BT headset since they worked for a good 45 min before I have them cut.

I spoke with AppleSupport on Twitter and I did the steps that they told me to do. I reset the network settings and I have not matched and repaired the stereo several times. The only thing that I did is a complete restoration of iOS which seems odd because it's an iPhone brand new. I hope that it is just an annoying bug in iOS 10.0.1 and that an update will come out in a few days to fix. Worst case is a bad chip BT and I need to swap out for a new phone.

  • Satellite Pro U200 - how to activate the bluetooth connection

How to activate the bluetooth connection?

    Hello

First check to see if your computer supports BT
If the laptop supports BT, then you should find a BT tag at the bottom of the unit.
If there is no label then your machine was not equipped with internal BT module!

If the laptop supports BT, then use the FN + F8 key to go to the BT
Then BT should start installation and configuration.

There is no bluetooth connection possible. I have the connection in front of the laptop button 'ON' and the hodkey + F8-online bluetooth support 'ON '. But I have every time an error with the 'Bluetooth Manager (v3.01.03)' bluetooth software-online button 'new connection '.
Error message: "Bluetooth is not ready."

I can not connect a practice or a Bluetooth headset. I made a mistake, or I forget somethink?

    Hello

AFAIK that Bluetooth is optional on the Tecra S2 and is depending on the model purchased.
The switch at the front of the laptop is a wireless communication switch, and it has nothing to do with a Bluetooth device.

In my opinion, you should check if the Bluetooth is available on your device. Check the Device Manager. You can also check the bottom of the unit. There you should find a Bluetooth label. If the label is available if the device has Bluetooth

    Hi hassaan1,

It seems that it does not show the right Bluetooth adapter because it does not recognize. I've included the two links below. These are the Windows 7 drivers for two possible Bluetooth drivers for your computer. Uninstall all Bluetooth devices in your device manager and then install one of the engines below and try to connect to your Bluetooth device. If this does not work uninstall and install on the other.

  • How to share computer laptop computer wifi laptop bluetooth that can use internet with Bluetooth?

    Hello

I want to share my laptop wifi with computer laptop bluetooth, how to share?

    I need now

    Please help me...

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description, I understand that you want to share mobile Wi - Fi.

I would like to know some information.

    1. What is the brand and model of your two laptops?

    2. The other laptop only has a Bluetooth but no Wi - Fi?

I wish to inform you that unfortunately, you can not use Bluetooth to connect to the internet. You must have a wireless PCI card.

Wi-Fi connections can reach a distance more than the alternative wireless listed above. Many newer computers, especially laptops, now contain integrated Wi - Fi capabilities makes it the first choice in most situations. A Wi - Fi connection can be used with or without a device on the network. With two computers, Wi - Fi networks under a luminaire (also calledad-hoc mode) are particularly simple to implement.

Bluetooth technology supports wireless reasonably high speed between two computers without the need for a network device. Bluetooth is more commonly used when the network to a computer with a consumption as a handheld device phone cell. Most desktop computers and most do not have the Bluetooth capability. Bluetooth works best if both devices are in the same room in close proximity to each other. Consider the Bluetooth if you have interest in networking with handheld devices and your lack of computers of the Wi - Fi capabilities.
