• Trying to open Lightroom was last updated, the program fails to open.am using an iMac and the ElCapitan operating system. All the answers?

  I installed Lightroom was last updated this morning, and now the program refuses to open. I am a user of iMac with OS ElCapitan. The version change had to 6.2.0 6.2.1.

  Answers to this problem would be appreciated because I have a fall meet.

  Hi I have a HP Probook 6470 b. After installation of the latest series of Windows updates my laptop fails to open the common programs such as Word 2010, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer 11. Other programs such as Excel 2010 and Chrome are not affected. Programs not just open, but on the control task manager, they are each taking up 25% CPU, which is the set of core.

  Strangely, on a machine identical to the work occurs the same problem but on a desktop computer, I can't reproduce the problem. With my laptop I use system restore and the problem goes away until Windows Update to run again - there are quite a few updates and I can't identify what the source of the problem.

  Hello. In the end, I managed to get out. It was Microsoft EMET that was causing problems. Ultimately I unchecked all boxes and now all my programs work correctly. Strangely Chrome and Excel have been unchecked already which is the reason for which they worked.

  See that LocalServer32 is pointing to the right EXE, and that your process can directly access and run it. There could be a problem for 32/64-bit...

  Open Component Services MMC, go to--> Workstation --> DCOM Config and find InDesign by GUID AppID or AppID--> click on--> select Properties --> go to the tab of Security --> grant all users to enable execute permissions and computers .

  Uninstall and reinstall InDesign could help get properly registered COM objects.

  the notebook is only for the most basic of .txt files. All the more complicated files will be displayed incorrectly, you will see only the forms. Try to open it in wordpad.

  I looked at many similar responses but no nails really our problem.

  On a Windows client 7 to rename a folder that is located on a file server running SBS 2003.  When you try to rename a file that has a file "thumbs.db" in there he throws the message "file in use: the action cannot be completed because the folder or file is open in another program. and then it won't let you rename it.  This isn't a problem with other XP clients attached to the same server.  We have reduced to folders that have this file thumbs.db in through trial and error.

  It will work when you show just the icons which is unacceptable.  However, you can rename a folder that is located on the customers own local disk.

  Suggestions - we can work around it, but it of inturupting workflow and is old fashioned all simply boring.

  If it is one that has been created on your computer, you can search your computer to see if you have two different versions of Lightroom installed. If so, then you want to open the new version of Lightroom by double-clicking its icon, and then you should be able to open the catalog.
