• Disk space is growing day after day in player GBs D where Service of VMware Update Manager is installed

  vCenter Server 6.0 the disk automatically develops on a daily basis in GBs. On which the disc, vCneter Update Manager is installed. This particular drive size is 50 GB where only 4 GB of data is is however its space has been consumed 43 GB.

  When all the space was occupied this drive (drive D) and vCenter Server Services will stop. I don't know where is the problem and not able to find the root cause. Second, other - than vCenter Update Manager Server Services, all vCenter Server 6.0 Associates services are installed on the C drive.

  Internet services are enabled on the server vCenter Server, but I disabled the option Update Manager configuration tab for auto download of patches of VMware. Please help...

  As directed by your last update SQL is installed on drive D. normally Transition of database log will grow.

  -check the SQL logs in drive D

  -Reduce the SQL log file to reduce space.

  2. Expand bases of data and then right click on the database you want to shrink.
  3. Point to tasks, point to Shrink, and then click files.
  4. Select the file type and the file name.

  I need to upgrade my 5.1 to 5.5 ESXi hosts.  I'll use the VMWare Update Manager to perform the upgrade to my hosts, who are servers in a M1000 r.620 chassis.  What I need to download the .iso in VMWare ESXi ESIi specific Dell 5.5 5.5 or can I use disc VMWare 5.5?

  -J' have TRIED to activate the plugin, but I got a warning about an untrusted certificate (I guess it happened also when I installed the client for the first time, and everything worked) and then I got two errors:

  sometimes "the server has taken too much time to react" and a few other times "the VMWare Update manager cannot accept applications because VirtualCenter.

  I think that there are a few other references to the host name of the Update Manager, which I have not changed, on the vCenter server or Manager Update server...

  I would try just reinstalling the update on existing installation manager.  Do not overwrite the database in the process so that you shouldn't really lose anything.  Not the plugin, but since the Update Manager vCenter installation media.

• not able to download the patches in VMware Update Manager

  Just have a VMware Update Manager 4 installed, but he has been unable to download the patches.   • I can ping swscan.apple.com and she is resolved to 17.164.1.22 which is the same IP that also resolves the mac next to me (which gets the update)
  • I cannot telnet on port 443 to swscan.apple.com and it connects.
  • I have a mac in yosemite next to me who can see the updates so I suspect that doesn't pose any problems with the service itself rather something on why machine.
  • I started in safe mode, and while in safe mode, I get the same error.

  You can try to disable the Sophos websheild and ClamXav if she has one. Even better would be to uninstall both and test.

  Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

  We tried the following workarounds:

  • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
  • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
  • Re on the keystore password

  No change at all...

  Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

  You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

  8.1 for Windows cannot be installed on my Sony Vaio Duo 13! An error pops up asking me to contact the OEM manufacturer for BIOS update.   Help!  I went on vacation and used my laptop to DVD play only.  I am now back home and cannot connect to the Internet.  I tried all sorts of resolutions without result.  When I use the Troubleshoot utility, it tells me to stop my router and turn it back on.  I've done this multilpe times at this point.  Once I keep in the resolution of the problems, I get the same message again and again: "wireless network connection is not a valid ip configuration.  I disabled McAfee and morning services.  I used the command prompt to reset WINSOCK, IPv4 and 6.  I turned power on and off wireless by using the key on the keyboard.  I disabled and enabled the network connection.  I have the driver-upated.  I know the router works properly from my iphone and iPad is all connected without problem.  I removed and added to the wireless network.  In the network and sharing Center (I would copy and paste the view up here, if I could, but since I can't get online...), it is said "unidentified network, no internet access" on the right side, and he also says that I'm connected to a public network.  There is no link to click for the public network and I can't seem to find a way to change it to the House (there are no options, no links).  I tried to solve this problem, after I get home from work every night and I'm so frustrated that nothing works.  Please, please help!

  3. When the user account control pop up box, click Yes.

     Note If you do not specify a path of the directory for the log file, use the following command:
