Unable to connect to the VMware Research Service - the SSL certificate verification failed

Hello world

to implement the new vCSA 5.1 but I get an error when you try to connect via browser Web Client.

"Impossible to connect to the VMware Research Service . https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7444/lookupservice/sdk - The SSL certificate check failed. »

I've found this KB

http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/search.do?cmd=displayKC & docType = kc & externalId = 2033338 & sliceId = 1 & docTypeID = DT_KB_1_1 & dialogID = 423540040 & StateID = 1% 200% 20423538503

The manual/work around seems to be a lot of work for me and perhaps this will cause other problems in the service due to problems of certification :/

I also think that this cannot be the solution for a whole new vCSAppliance...-_-

I am also able to go to https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9443 / admin-app

is it correct for the device?

You need to regenerate the certificate for Server Appliance after change of IP/hostname.

Also, the admin/management interface is https://: 5480

  • Unable to connect to the server with ttisqlcs, failed to retrieve IP address of the system

    Please help me, I have installed timesten server and client on different machines in the LAN, but with the same user and group - ttadmin:ttgroup

    When I tried to connect to the server with ttisqlcs - connStr "DSN = sampleCS"

    The result gave me errors like below

    Connect "DSN is sampleCS ';.

    S1000: Unable to retrieve the IP address of the system. System error:-2

    The command failed.

    Fact.

    The related part in sys.ttconnect.ini is defined as below

    [192.168.0.206]

    Description = TimesTen Server

    Adresse_reseau = 192.168.0.206

    PORT_TCP = 53397

    And the sys.odbc.ini

    [ODBC data sources]

    sampleCS = TimesTen 11.2.2 Client Driver

    [sampleCS]

    TTC_SERVER = 192.168.0.206

    TTC_SERVER_DSN = nredb_ds

    That wants it mean by 'recovering intellectual '?

    He is trying to resolve IP by hostname even when I already gave him the ip address?

    Either way, I can ping 192.168.0.206 and telnet to port 53397 without problem.

    Please help me, thanks ~

    It does not matter that they are VMs (I use between virtual machines all the time), but "Networking" of VM, of course, must be set up correctly. But if you can ping and telnet between VMS so that shouldn't be a problem.

    On the client computer, you have an entry in/etc/hosts for the client machines and the server? Even on the server? Please check that and add entries if they are not there and see if it helps. If not then we need to find the client using 'strace' to see which system call fails. Please try and after the release (or at least the last part that leads to failure).

    Thank you

    This could be a case of the vPOD not 'hot' or fully loaded, is there a chance you can try to run the lab, once the console is in place, may have to wait a few minutes (coffee break) and try again...

    I'll go ahead and run the lab to see if I feel the same way...

  • Unable to connect to the VMware web service: invalid key file

    Hello

    We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

    Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

    We tried the following workarounds:

    • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
    • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
    • Re on the keystore password

    No change at all...

    Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

    Thank you.

    You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

  • Unable to connect to the web services server

    Unable to connect to the web services server.  It is a common error that you might see if you try to enable web services.  If you receive this message, try the following steps.

    For Officejet printers

  • Pavilion 140 550 - t: unable to connect to the windows service

    Not sure if it's the good advice of post, but here goes.

    Just got the HP computer yesterday and installed Norton Security, Malwarebytes, and Windows Live Mail (do not like the version of Mail). Now, when I start it, I get "Unable to connect to the Windows Service" pop up and WLM crashes when I try to open it. What the DEVIL?

    Had the same problem on the one I just replaced. My laptop became the 'Group Policy' error thing, but I think I fixed it.

    Any suggestions? Windows is a joke!

    If it is Norton Security, then it's a firewall as well and firewalls blocking things, it's that they are supposed to do. So demand for three, you said that this is probably the cause.

    But if you do not want to test it, then try the system restore I've mentioned or reload the image origin, then just put in place the email again and see if it works without the other two installed, first to see if it will work with anything else in the picture.

    First of all, let me say that I am a newbie with BlackBerry and simulators.

    I just downloaded 9630_Verizon and 9630_Sprint simulators as well as the MDS Simulator package. I start the MDS Simulator and the DOS window opens and seems to work very well. I start be 9630 simulators and while it seems to work, when I click on the button of the browser and try to go to any web page, I get:

    The MDS Simulator version is ' SCM 4.1.4.19 19 2007/07/10»

    I can connect to the MDS Simulator using my browser of desktop connection to localhost: 8080. Statistics show all values of zero, so it seems that the 9630 is not yet connect to the Simulator. Is there a configuration file somewhere that I have to change to make it work?

    After that I posted this, I continued to search the forums of possible solutions. One recommendation, I found was to delete the files ".dmp" and restart the device Simulator. That did the trick, things work now.
