  • Problem with display in the design mode User Interface

    Hello! I use the model #2 from the Adobe Developer Connection found here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/dreamweaver_custom_templates.html

    When I add more than 10 navigation buttons they begin to appear to the right of the first 10 in design mode.

    There is a screenshot showing the problem here: http://www.sallyaverill.com/dw_grab.html you will see in code view, it is simply a list that it explodes into design mode, pushing the content to the right and pushing an accordion Spry Panel.

    She looks like and acts very well in mode live view and in a browser, locally and remotely, but I'd like to see it in design mode. What is the cause? Please let me know if there are more necessary information. CS4, WindowsXP

    Many thanks - Sal

    Text dims to the overview is because you called a: hover, but not li: hover.

    Instead of

    .leftnavigation a: visited {
    color: # 66;
    }
    .leftnavigation a: hover {
    color: #ffffff;
    background-image: url(images/nav_down.jpg);
    }

    follow these steps:

    . LeftNavigation li: visited {info style here}

    and

    . LeftNavigation Li: hover {info style here}

    Make sure that keep them in that order! You want your Pseudo-classes to come in this order:

    Li: link link

    Visited li: visited

    Hover li: hover

    Active li: active

    Again, it won't be your entire list change (menu point) color, so you could also add funds... at the present time, you apply a style text only (text styles of color; background-color styles menu item)

  • User Interface failure

    My Acer Aspire One is running Windows XP Home Edition.  The error message is titled "Failure of User Interface" and the message "The Logon User Interface Dllmsgina.dll failed to load.  I tried to restart with "last known good configuration" and it does not work.  Help, please!

    Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

    If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.
    You can check the corrupted system files.  Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.
    Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log.  To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.
    I hope this helps.  Good luck.

    After a recent windows update I get the following error.

    Winlogon.exe: The application or DLL c:\WINDOWS\system32\OBDC32.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

    After this window I get:

    The only option at this point is to restart that puts me in a vicious circle of the same mistake.

    I tried to login in safe mode by following the instructions in this article , but the same error messages.

    I use VMWare Fusion 2.0.8 and on OS X 10.5.8.

    Someone at - he had this problem and found a fix?

    Have disable (reverse) Labview technic?, let icon convert 'gray'---> disable

    the user can see the icon on the user interface, but they cannot resolve the factors of function

    Thank you

    "2ea program."

    "disable (reverse) technic?", let icon convert 'gray'---> disable

    I don't know what some of the terminology is that you use.  Or what you mean by disabling functions or icons.

    I'm going to guess that you really want to be able to disable and gray to controls on the front panel.  You can write to a property node for each of your orders of façade called 'off '.  You can activate, deactivate and disable/gray.

    Can someone help me with this problem, what can I do? I have inportant information on my 'C' drive then a complete reinstall of my OS is not an option, and I dare to talk about the irony that I was going to make a backup of that same information today, as I do once or twice a month.

    PLEASE HELP ME, SOMEONE, HELP!

    Since most of the people do not have a genuine XP bootable installation CD, think they might have a genuine XP bootable installation CD, not sure what type of CD that they have, or have only recovery type CD that came with their system.  To remove all doubt, I have instructions to make a CD bootable Recovery Console.

    If you have a SATA drive, sometimes the CD Recovery Console will not recognize your hard drive without some settings in the BIOS, but I would start with the bootable XP Recovery Console CD do you and see how it goes.  With SATA drives, sometimes it's beautiful, it is sometimes annoying.

    I also have in the next post will give you the instructions to create a bootable Hiren CD.  There a windowsy Office look and feel which is less intimidating than the Recovery Console command line interface.  Hiren does not seem that this issue be SATA (at least not for me) and you can always make your file replacement.

    I recommend yo do the CD and try them in a system that works just to see if they start very well, you know.  You do not have to 'do' anything, make sure that it starts, and you can navigate and see some files, then exit.

    If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

    This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

    You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

    The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

    Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

    Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

    It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

    You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

    When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

    Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

    Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

    Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

    You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

    You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

    C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

    The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

    For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the command prompt.

    A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

    In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

    Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

    Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

    Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

    It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

    You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

    Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

    You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

    Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • Display success or failure of the images only in the user interface custom

    I built a user interface customized to my project VBAI 2010 that displays 2 images from 2 different cameras.  I want to have the "View menu" available for an operator to choose between images, only passed, only having failed, etc.  The view menu is using the default user interface, but when I build a custom one from one of the templates, this option is no longer available.  How can I get the view menu to show up?  If I can't do it, is there a good work around for this?

    This is the VI amended with an additional option for any display puts is not up to date.

    If you do advanced UIS Custom like this, you should definitely check out LabVIEW. You can even install it for evaluation to try... later, when you're not on the customer site

  • User interface customized to run at the same time?

    Hello

    My question is about the user interfaces customized for performances with the parallel model. In my current project, we use the parallel model with sockets to the UI and test 4, we have flags of chain for its execution, which displays messages to the user and the other 2 which has the function of a streaming indicator that displays information throughout the test, also showing instances of time. So, in total 8 indicators that display information about the 4 independent runs alongside. Up to now, I managed to create the user interface only for the sequential mode, using 2 simple string indicators and sending messages to the TestStand to the strings through the user interface Messages. My problem is that I don't know how to implement this feature for the sockets to test more.

    Attached images of the façade and the diagram of blog of the GUI as it appears now.

    I am very new to TestStand (I know that for the last month), so I expect that my question and description of cases are not so clear, so please let me know if anything is badly explained.

    I would be grateful for any help.

    Basically, whenever you get a message from UI associated with running (e.g. UIMsg_StartExecution, UIMsg_Trace, etc.), you will need to determine what testsocket the UIMessage applies to and then update the corresponding user interface controls. A way to get the testsocket is as follows:

    testsocketindex = uimsg. Thread.GetSequenceContext (0, frameId_Notused). AsPropertyObject(). GetValNumber ("RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex", 0)

    In addition, once you know where to go a particular run, you can attach to the control Id of this execution (i.e. property of Execution.Id) and just look at the execution Id instead.

    Hope this helps,

  • User interface of smart camera on VGA monitor?

    For smart cameras that have a VGA output (NI 177 x), is it possible to get the UI custom embedded in the Vision allows AI 2011, to display on the monitor (VGA) output?

    Or are you limited by being only able to display the inspection on the VGA monitor image screen?

    Unfortunately, this is not possible. Technical, for those interested, it is because that the public Service. Get the Image method only is not supported on RT.

    The custom user Interface is designed to interact with Vision Builder running on the target. It will appear in the mode of inspection on the Vision Builder running on the host machine or on a web browser if you enable the web server on the target and connect from a web browser from another machine.

    This application note gives more details: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6714

    There is a way to achieve a similar result, that is to draw overlays in the image using the Custom Overlay stage located in the palette to use additional tools.

  • Impressive transformation slow due to the updating of the user interface

    Hello

    I feel a huge slow down in my test as engine

    I update the display after each test. It consists of a rather

    "simple table" with a subtle change of color and bold

    to indicate the failure or success of the test:

    I have also tried several things to determine what routine was

    make the program almost crawling like a snail, here's my

    results:

    No UI refresh: 0m48s (same as Teststand with no updates of the user interface)

    The discount but no page table switch: 1m06s

    Bay of refreshment and switch page: 1m26s

    There are 314 tests, up to 314 redraw and possibly

    switch page 314 to reposition the view. Which gives the

    following user interface refresh costs:

    Update of the table: 18 years/314 = 57ms (replacing just a single line, Center to top)

    Switch to page: 20 s/314 = 64ms (bottom right corner)

    Is this really the case? Is there a way to make the refresh of the user interface

    faster? Create two separate loops/threads, one to make

    the test, one for updating the UI asynchronously?

    I understood for an overall picture about different

    widgets, but here I'm 'just' display of channels...

    David Koch

    Well, multi-listbox control is a problem if your change causes access to the muliple property node. For each property node LabVIEW normally does a refresh of the user interface which is very quickly. Fortunately, there is a fairly easy way to fix this.

    Use a node of property for the current VI (just drop a property node and change its class type VI Server-> VI reference) to get the reference of the Panel. Then use another property node connected to your reference of the Panel and select update from the Panel to postpone. Set this value to true before your Listbox (and any other updated user interface) and set the value to false then.

  • Your comments on my cRIOs with user interface architecture

    I'm designing a system to measure different signals. I use at least 3 cRIOs 9074 to acquire data and optionally a temperature control. I am required to create a user interface for all 3 cRIOs, even when they control the various processes. In addition, I need to use a Yokogawa data acquisition system as an extension of the cRIO channels. That's what I expect:

    -Have 3 cRIOs, acquisition of data at a high sampling rate.

    -Have the cRIOs sends the data over the network using the network shared FIFO variables.

    -Ask the user to interface on a PC grabing than the 3 cRIOS data over the network and present it to the user, allowing it to send commands to the cRIOs via shared network network variables.

    -Have the PC running the user interface handle all data logging and reporting.

    -Program a cRIO to interface with the DAQ Yokogawa directly and have the cRIO data on the network, just as he did for other data.

    I would appreciate any thoughts on this topic.

    Thank you

    It depends on your sampling rate. Usually with samples of thermocouple you would sample relatively slowly, so you can use the analysis engine to take samples from FPGA would be an exaggeration. If you do not need much greater sampling rate, then you can use the FPGA. Here are a few points of reference for the Scan Interface Mode.

  • Simple TestStand in LabVIEW user interface

    Hello community,

    I design a user interface for Teststand using the simple example of vi. The name of the file is VI.vi of first level

    I am trying to understand works vi inorder to make changes and ran into a few questions that I was hoping someone could answer for me please.

    To begin, I add my file sequence and click on 'Test DUT'. Then a dialog box appears asking to enter the serial number of the UUT, where and what are the causes that to happen in the code? After I entered my serial number it turns my code sequence and at the end an another message specifying in a green or red if the UUT success or failure. Where and what are the causes of success/failure boxes happen in the code?

    Thank you

    Kevin

    If you had posted this on the forum of TestStand, you would be probably got some of the answers better.

    But in the meantime, you need to open the SequentialModel.seq (or what is process model you use) and navigate to the entry Point of execution sequence, you use.  In this case, click Test UUT, the icon in the list of sequence and track the flow of test.

    With respect to the banner that appears after execution of USE test.  The banner is implemented as a DLL in the PostUUT callback.  It is based on the status of the MainSequence callback result.  It is the result of the test that you started by test DUT.

    The best advice I can give you is to go through the sequence of process template file and learn that it is not an easy task, but worth the effort.

    Thank you

  • user interface customized with VI does not

    Hello

    I tried to use a user interface customized for VBAI using VI. I got to the point where I can run the VI all by himself and to see the work of logic. However when I add to as part of the user interface and switch to the inspection mode and run it, it does nothing. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Attached you will find the program, I work with.

    Thank you.

    I just tried your VI... you must have a VI that does not forever in a loop. You can use some time recording the loop that runs once and uses the SHIFT to follow the previous results of previous runs of the step. Use of the is the first call? Primitive in LV to initialize the first shift register. Here is a modified Test.vi that will work better.

    Hello

    ·        You're able to boot in safe mode?

    ·        Remember to make changes to the system?

    Method 1:

    If you are able to boot into safe mode then I suggest to do a system restore to a previous point when the system worked very well and check.

    Step 1:

    I suggest to start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    a. restart the system and keep tapping F8 until you reach the start menu.

    b. Select safe mode from the list and press ENTER.
