• Problems with services of automatic startup after Windows Update problem

  These are probably related to many things I tried trying to solve the problem of Windows Update - until I found the answer to Fix It.  That fixed my Windows Update, but now I have these problems.

  He ran with errors, so I suspect he undid some things and then they don't get put back.

  I also noticed that the following services are set to automatic but have not started either.  Is this a problem?
  Task Scheduler
  TCP/IP Net BIOS Helper
  Windows event log
  TPM Base Services

  So, how do you restart automatically?

  Problem posted in another thread to improved Performance.  Long story short - a repair settled with Vista DVD.   He fixed the problem of services, but the problem of Windows Update is back.

• VirtualCenter service starts do not after reboot?

  The following two services are not on my Windows 2008 x 64 server:

  • VMware VirtaulCenter Web services management

  • VMware Server VirtaulCenter

  What I find weird is that other VMware services are:

  • VMware vCenter Converter Server integrated

  • VMware vCenter Converter worker integrated

  • VMware vCenter Update Manager Service

  I have struct trying to figure this problem on mine.  You guys can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

  FYI: I connect to a database that is not on this server.

  I would definitley check first newspapers.   They are in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs.   You can also watch the last thing to change.   All services using a service account where a password might have changed?   Any change of SSL certificate?

  ReNeGaDe is a well known hacker, he made one of only a few patches, I know. It just came out a week ago and it is virus free.

• Problems of Service Pack 2 (Vista)

  I'm trying to upgrade to Vista (32-bit) SP1 to SP2. I follow all the instructions of update, download the files, download the "green check" telling me that it is installed. When I check the 'Windows' edition (in system properties), it still said SP1 - even if the update log shows that SP2 has been 'installed successfully!
  If anyone has had this problem or has a solution for this? I don't like, but I have to download Adobe Pro X to work, and because I do not have SP2 it wont :-(

  I suggest you check in Windows Update history if Windows Vista SP2 installation was successful or not.

  Alternatively, you can try to install the stand-alone version of the Windows Vista SP2 on the system in a State of boot also temporarily disable any security software before starting the download.

  Note:

  Activate security software once you are done with the troubleshooting steps.

When I try to start it manually, the service of 1068 error appears.
  Finally, please do not suggest the system restore because I did restore my system, and I can't do now restore either because the error 1068 points.

  I installed Oracle Application Testing Suite and I can't get to the web interface running. The windows interface works well, but I can't seem to get the web interface to run. The problem seems to be isolated the the 'Oracle Application Testing Suite Service Application'... when I try to start the service, it stops (probably fails).
