I know that I have has not yet set the alarm for at least several days. Especially not for the moment, 06:45. When I check all the alarms to see whoever it might be, I see clearly that there is no alarm, when disabled, set to 06:45. It's really disturbing. Is anything else on that?

I'm really disappointed in apple products lately. Even about this, not responsive mobile web site where I am writing this question.

    Hi vmvmvm,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

We understand that your iPhone has sounded the alarm on a couple of occasions that you have never configured in the clock application. Because you have only noticed this problem since updating to iOS on iPhone, we perform an insulation here step to try to find out why this is happening.

We want to reinstall you iOS on your iPhone. This should not affect any of your data, but it is always advisable to make sure that you have a current backup in iTunes or iCloud. Backup your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once you have a current backup, follow the steps in the section "If your device turns on but hangs during startup" in this article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won't turn on - Apple Support

These steps will reinstall iOS. Keep in mind that these steps were written for a different issue, but they will always help us to further isolate the situation. Test your iPhone as usual once the relocation over and let us know if the problem persists.

  • iOS 10 - alarm has stopped working

I upgraded my iPhone 6 to iOS 10.0.1 and since the update, when I woke up no longer works. Can I set an alarm, the alarm clock icon appears in the upper display HR, but when it's time to get attention, nothing happens.  The phone does not light, it does not all sounds.  I tried everything I could think and suggestions online, but no luck.

Another weird behavior is that, even after an alarm has passed (without any reaction in the phone) icon in the upper part remains HR.  I can remove all the alarms, the alarm icon is still present on the screen.

I tried the new feature of sleep thinking that it my by a part of the problem, but it does not work.  However, it doesn't have an impact; If I activate the function of the hour of sunset, the icon of awakening on the upper screen HR will disappear and any alarm (on the alarm screen) which was armed gets off.  It is as if the two are mutually exclusive, which means that you can use sunset or traditional alarms, but not both.  Anyone know if this is the case?

I really doubt I'll use the function of the hour of sunset, it's a little strange and not terribly useful for a busy life that is not too predictable to go to bed each night.  However, the loss of the traditional wake total feature is a huge disappointment.

I tried to restart the phone; the only thing that does is make the alarm clock icon to disappear (if he was stuck from a prior alarm). It does not restore the real vibration / sound set alarm function.

I also deleted my way of thinking iHome alarm clock app that alarms this app can somehow compete with the alarm feature native iOS, even if they have all two has worked well in the iOS 9.

Have you deleted all your alarms and added them?

  • 9.3.4 resurfaced at the iOS security flaw?

    iPhone 5

    iOS 9.3.5

    32 GB of storage

With the previous version of IOS, 9.3.4 I had an ongoing problem with my 'home' button does not.  I tried to clean the key, etc..  I've done all the fixes mentioned in the line.  Nothing has worked - I had to press the Home button for a few seconds for him to work.  I did the general > accessibility > AssistiveTouch fix - and that place a soft-Home-button on my home screen.  So it's been a temporary solution.

Then I installed iOS 9.3.5 as soon as it came out, and the problem disappeared.  The original ' Home' on the device button worked as good as when it was new. I interpreted this as meaning that the hotfix in 9.3.5 set some hole/leak memory existed in 9.3.4 that messed up my Home button.

Then, today-, he started the same problem.  No new apps installed.  Just same daily use.

I can't find anything about it online - anyone have a similar experience?

While the home button activate some software, it is a piece of hardware and a physical button. The button may fail, or works intermittently. If you continue to have problems with the home button, you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar in the Apple store nearest to reviewing. There is no security breach that would cause the Home button to stop working, and the fix for the flaw, Apple has released it patched.

  • iOS security

I always use iPad and iPhone to surf the Internet and banking payments. My iOS for the iPhone and iPad are updated. But I'm worried about hackers and thieves for my passwords in online payments, because I have not installed any internet security software. Apple says that all apple products are produced with built in antivirus. In addition, it is not possible to install internet security on iOS. What is your idea about this statement?

There is no known viruses that can affect an iPhone.

Similarly, there is no reported to who within hacking distance either an iPhone.

The design of the iOS that stop at the operational level. This same design is what prevents any form of Antivirus doing anything more scanning itself.   There is no access to an application in other parts of the system directly.

iOS is considered to be a fo more secure systems in the world.

I'd be more concerned with what I use for my sensitive operations such as database connections.

It is believed to do banking on a wifi network that control you.  That is to say at home or your office.

Another thing is open and would be an easy target for hackers to compromise your iPhone could ever be.

  • Tecra M4: EasyGuard advanced instant security - alarm does not sound

    Hello
    Instant EasyGuard Security Advanced
I followed the instructions to the "request of Iris' to support Toshiba, but the alarm will not sound.
I know that the motion detectors work because if I shake the phone enough, the hard drive protection popup will be displayed.

I even confirmed that the wav file that is listed in the registry exists.
Does anyone have ideas, what I can check next?
I already reinstalled all the toshiba utilities in the hope that could fix it.

    Hello

I put t know which unit you have (European or US model) but ask Iris is written for portable Setup US and the preinstalled image is not the same as on European models.

I checked the Tecra M4 user manuals and it is not listed as this device is equipped with advanced instant security. You see using indicated such CrossMenu about US page?

Either way, you make a small mistake. In your ad, you have written two different things. Please check HDD protection tool settings and you will see that there is no option for an alarm. What you're saying is a tool separately, but I'm not sure that it is a part of the package of software for your device.

  • Where is the support for IOS security vulnerability policy

I am considering an iPad 2 Air for myself.

I have many android (phones and tablets) devices that are vulnerable to the frame and the combination of Samsung or LG and carriers will not roll the provided Google of patches on their devices.  Not a single device of mine will be patched.  I will not stop to buy more devices stuck in that model of support for fix hardware manufacturer and the accepting carrier of patch.

This only leaves Google Nexus range of products and Apple's IOS devices for review as far as I know.  Apple products are a bit expensive for me, but I may have no choice.

I tried, but I couldn't find a documented statement of political support from Apple.  Yes, I know that they still support the iPhone 4S with IOS 9.1, but I want to see the current policy of public support.  Someone at - it links, I've yet to find?  How long is their guarantee to security patches?  I don't have the latest clever features, I want to known vulnerabilities and not-publicly-known patched.  Apple said the timeline for security patches?

    Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge Apple never gave a lifetime for devices or for them to receive iOS updates.

I can tell you that my iPad 2, which is a little more than 4 years, can be iOS9 and updates that come with it.

Beyond history, there is no guarantee for a period of support.

  • Received a phone call about Microsoft Security Essentals scam

I got caught in this scam. I received a phone call and allowed access and paid by credit card for the technician assumed to install at a price of 210 euros microsoft security essentials software and another program called registry reviver.

I was taken because my laptop was able to test reports errors and at times he would go blue and then to restart and so I fell for the scam. They were very professional and answered all quries that I had.

Please tell what should I do now and what they might do with my information.

In my opinion, I had to cancel the credit card used to make the purchase and see if you can return that money to the CC company. Then I would run a full scan using Microsoft Malware removal tool.

    I hope this helps.

  • Think of a scam, I called the company - am I at risk?

My mother was using his iPad and got a pop-up in Safari on the iPad with a virus or something else and to dial a number to get it repaired. The site was called ios-security-alarm.

Once she was on the phone with them, they asked his serial number on his iPad. She gave them that. They said that it was probably a problem with her laptop and wanted to remotely access that. At this time, she got the suspect and got off the phone.

    Two questions.

Is it possible that your iPad (or a home network) is really in danger and that's why she who becomes pop up?

    and

She is threatened to be hacked or have compromised information giving them the serial number of his iPad. It was the only information she provided them.

If it is to any risk, that she must do to protect themselves?

    > At this time, she got suspicious and got off the phone.

If it did not allow access to his laptop computer. That's great.

    > Is it possible that your iPad (or a home network) is really in danger and that's why she who becomes pop up?

N ° she dodged an attempt to scam. Don't question even the legitimacy of the pop up warning. IT IS A SCAM! Period.

    > Is in danger at all to be hacked or have compromised information giving them the serial number of his iPad. It was the only information she provided them.

    N °

    > If it is to any risk, that she must do to protect themselves?

While browsing the internet... If there is a scary warning, NEVER call the number. Contact Apple directly or ask someone who understands technology. Check iPad Settings - Safari - history and website data clear your MOM. That will clear the cache of Safari script.

  • With IOS 9.3.5 security breach

In IOS 9.3.5, latest update IOS, security is supposed to be fixed. There's a loophole where you can ask siri "what time is?" from the lock screen. Siri will show you the clock, and you click on this. Once you have clicked which, just click on the '+' in the corner right, put in letters at random, click 'Cancel', then go to 'Stopwatch' then click on the home button, and you get to the home screen, even if you don't know the password.

I hope this bug can get fixed soon!
    ~ Flash

What numbers did you use to press home to the end? Here test the device unlocks only with a previously registered fingerprint? The intermediate steps to type randomly and selecting the stopwatch don't change, however, it is quite easy to use your normal finger for the home page press button at the end, even if you deliberately used an invalid to call Siri at the beginning.

  • Thunderbird treats Facebook posting notifications as scams

I have put Facebook in place to notify me when new posts are made to a thread where I commented. For some reason, TBird treats these scams and warns me whenever I followed the link to the comments.

I can still make it, but it's boring. I would like an option in "filters" to mark a message as "not spam". Or something. Turning spam detection is a radical solution--I like _some_ helps avoid phishing emails, although I usually check URL before you click through. (More by fear of malicious programs because of phishing, but I always want to be careful).

Apparently, the notification of the scam does not work too well. You who can disable in the Options > Security > Email Scams.
