• Cannot send faxes with activated delivery receipts

  I use Windows Fax Scan & on W7 Pro v6.1.  When I try to send a fax with the non-permit, I receive an error message that the fax will not go because my fax server doesn't support non-delivery.  I do not use a fax server.  I have a fax modem external attached to my home phone line.  What is my desktop computer itself that may not support non-delivery?  I think the question would be more software than hardware related.

  I use Windows Vista Ultima Winfows Fax & Scan.

  I need to get a confirmation of fax receipt when I send faxes. Windows Fax Scan & has a "receipt of e-mail" option, but when I select it, I can't send faxes. I get an error message indicating that I have to deselect this option. I have reviewed all the menus and options, but impossible to find other options for confirmation by fax. I can't even include a "status" column in the "sent" box which would take account of the 'success' if the fax went through. I was able to add a "Status" column in the regular Inbox.

  Can someone tell me how to change the setting so that I get a confirmation when my fax is received?

  Hello. I have an officejet j4680. I put the fax is able to print a confirmation page. However, I need it to print the image of the 1st page when it prints the confirmation page. I Googled it and no one has the right answer. I called HP support and since my printer is no longer under warranty, they told me I had to pay $24 for this response. WHAT? Are you freaking kidding me? What a total scam. I never asked for technical support on this product since I got it. I'm so disappointed in HP. I thought that all the rest out for issues of my own of the user manual and Googling. But for some reason, there is no logical answer to this question (other than completely reset my entire printer which I can't do because it wasn't working with my wireless network, because we moved months ago and the technician for our internet business was out the other day and he was able to repair and make return to wireless technology and I can't have this messed up again). DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA? Everything I've read about technical support for HP, it's very sad how it seems there's almost no technology that knows his job. Can someone please give me a simple straight answer on how to implement the confirmation of the image for my fax. He said "an image of page 1 will appear here for faxes sent as Scan and Fax.   You're right, this sentence in the tip is vague and confusing.
  Send a fax from memory is on page 43. This feature is useful for group fax or speed dial, or using the automatic function of re - dial, a copy of the pages are scanned for you and ejected, pages so you can delete them, and then real sending the fax arrives, perhaps at a later date.

  Click on the Setup button on the printer control panel.

  Locate the print report. then click on OK.

  Locate the Fax of Confirmation using the right arrow, and then click on OK.

  Set as on Fax Send by using the right arrow, click OK to confirm.

  In order to save paper and ink, you can disable any error report be error Fax report settings as Off.

  Unfortunately, I asked this question before but I got one solution, but it did not work - I unplugged the power cable to the back of the printer and turn it back on without a change in the result.  Back in June 2012, I indicated that my Officejet 5750 printer has been printing newspapers unwanted fax for me... I get these faxes daily and sometimes more than once a day.  The fax paper publishes the last transaction.  All others I have received have a result that says "no fax": I have a PC, windows 7. Here is an example:

  Follow the steps below to turn off the fax confirmation reports.

  Print fax confirmation reports

  If you need printed confirmation that your fax is sent successfully, follow these instructions to enable fax confirmation before to send faxes. Select The Fax to send or send & receive.

  The default setting of confirmation by fax is turned off. This means that the HP all-in-one device will not print a report of confirmation for each fax sent or received. A confirmation message stating that a fax has been sent successfully appears briefly on the screen after each transaction.

  To activate the fax confirmation in the Panel

  1. press Setup.

  2. press 2and press 3.

  This selects print report , and then Fax of Confirmation.

  3. press to select one of the following, and then press OK.

  • Off Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. It is the default setting.
  • Send the fax Prints a report of fax confirmation for each fax you send.
  • Receive faxes Prints a report of fax confirmation for each fax that you receive.
  • Send & receive Prints a report of fax confirmation for each fax that you send and receive.

   

  TIP: If you choose on Fax Send or send & receiveand analyze your fax to send memory, you can include a picture of the first page of the fax on the report of Confirmation sent by fax . Press Setupand press 2, then press 2 . Select on the menu Image on report to send faxes .

  Did anyone else buy it before you? Somehow, HP has their database that the PC was recorded on October 21, 2007. Your PC comes with a warranty standard years.

  Did you buy it used? You have the original receipt for a new purchase? I know you're angry, but it's pretty much standard stuff for any PC manufacturer.

  A hard drive failure can happen to anyone at any time - I hope that more later than sooner. I hope you have received. If you do, call HP rear (or work with the cat).

  If you have made a new purchase valid HP hardware supplied with a 1 year warranty, you should be able to fax and e-mail receipt to receive a replacement meter.

  In the home screen, tap the Fax icon.

  Tap Settings, and then touch Fax reports.

  Tap the Confirmation Fax.

  Press Off to turn off the report.
  According to the same reports Menu Fax also select Fax error report and set it as Off.

  Now each fax report will be disabled.

To respond effectively would set a dangerous President in departmental priority: the monopoly is always right.

  Interesting its a challenge: what will motivate Microsoft to fix the flaws area when it reflects badly on them? How long they will ignore an obvious problem and a growing source of irritation for the customer? How Microsoft is going to ignore questions from customers and low priority? I guess that all license agreements and legislation defines their relationship with society - which breeds arrogance and public relations, spin when it comes to dealing with friends. Its like the policy of customer service here has Asperger: moderation, if any, is obtuse or robotics. apparently unable to actually connect and understand or even acknowledge our existence.

  I think that probably the Thinkvantage Active Protection System (APS) suspends your drive hard as you move your system, try disabling it temporarily and check again the behavior.

  As for the warranty, if your purchased your SL510 of a retail store like Best Buy, then you can get your warranty by sending a fax from your purchase receipt to the guys at Lenovo warranty.
