  • Airport Express works with iPod Hifi?

I have iPod Hifi and I would like to buy Airport Express to make them wireless and play the songs of Mac and iPhone. Would this work? What else do I need? Also the wifi extending functionality would work fine too?

    Thank you for your time.

The iPod Hi-Fi is not a loan AirPlay device. However, it has a 3.5 mm analog/digital audio input port that can be connected to an AirPort Express Terminal for reading iTunes stream from either the Mac or iPhone.

Note: Both the Express and the iPod Hi-Fi built in DAC to convert to digital-to-analog audio sources.

With respect to the extension of Wifi, the wireless router to be extended with the Express should be another Apple product: Express Extreme and Time Capsule.

When you get the new iPod, you can use iTunes on your computer to select and synchronize the music you want on it, in the same way that you synchronize your current iPod - your iTunes will recognize them as different devices and will remember your choice of synchronization for each, it will not (unless, for example, you restore the backup of your current on her iPod) put the same content on both.

  • iPod not recognized by iTunes?

I have iTunes installed on a computer running Windows 10. iTunes is updated to the latest version since this morning.

My iPod is a 7th generation Nano

Here's what I've tried so far:

    • Update to iTunes (the problem began before the update and persisted thereafter)
    • Reset the iPod (by pressing the menu and sleep buttons, or whatever they are called, until the screen goes black and then displays the apple logo)
    • Reinstall iTunes
    • Removal/installation/update driver iPod (my iPod appears under portable devices and tells the pilot because it is the latest version, attempts to manually install the driver in the iTunes folder indicates which is the driver already installed). I tried this before and after reinstalling iTunes.

However, I don't have an Apple Mobile Device driver. I couldn't find two solutions to do this, which has been updated the driver on the iPod, which did nothing. Another option involved to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service. Who also did nothing.

I also read that reformat the iPod through disk management has worked as well, but my iPod does not appear as a disk. In fact, it is not at all. iTunes opens when it is connected and says it cannot recognize it, but it does not appear under devices and readers.

On a strange note, I have an unknown USB device under USB controllers in device management. Out of curiosity, I unplugged my iPod, uninstalled and plugged my iPod back, time in which the unknown device is returned. So I guess it's my iPod (in the unrecognized State). You know not so relevant.

I am at one loss as to what else to do. The iPod still works, I can still listen to all music that has been synchronized to him before, but that's all.

This just started today. Every other time I connected the iPod, it was immediately recognized by iTunes and worked well. Seems that the problem is the absence of the Apple Mobile Device driver, if I was not able to fix this.

I have not tried to plug the iPod on another computer yet. The only other computer I have is an old laptop that takes forever to initialize. I will try that, after work and see if my iPod works on that one.

If you have already tried to reinstall iTunes and manually delete specific things like the drivers, you can completely remove iTunes and related software components

Remove and reinstall iTunes and software for Windows 7 and later versions - Apple Support components

Don't forget to uninstall the components all the listed in the described order.  Then, download and install the latest version of iTunes from here

  • Is no longer able to sync to iPod album art

All my album in my library artwork iTunes stopped syncing with my iPod - even the music I bought on the iTunes store. How can I restore it? I've been deleting music from my library to create capabilities but no joy so far.

According to me, iTunes syncs and stores separately, album artwork to optimize the way iPod displays the album (on the small screen of the iPod) artwork and minimize storage space used by the illustrations of album on the iPod.  There may be data corruption on the storage of the iPod originally this problem; iTunes is syncing, but embedded iPod software is unable to properly access this optimized work data.

If all the songs on the iPod are stored in your iTunes library, you can do a Restore on iPod using iTunes.  This erases the iPod and it affects the "factory" condition by default.  The restore button is on the settings of the iPod summary screen in iTunes.  If the cause is corruption of data on the iPod, it should be resolved by doing a restore.  After the restoration, access music from the iPod settings screen in iTunes and set it up to Sync music as before.

  • need stop synchronization before finishing to avoid ipod classic remove

I've updated to itunes version 12.5.1, as well as Windows 10.  If I let my ipod classic finish syncing, everything on the ipod is removed.  So I have to restore the ipod in disk mode so that itunes recognizes the ipod and avoid itunes gel settings.  I found the only way to keep my music is to stop synchronization before it ends or the entire contents of the ipod is removed, and I'll have to go through the process of restoring ipod to factory settings again.  During synchronization, I disable the Windows 10 firewall and anti virus as Apple support told me that it could interfere with itunes.  What is - this with the finishing of sync that removes my ipod?

It's weird...  Hard drive it is possible to the iPod becomes unreliable and is damaged during the synchronization process.  What happens if you set it up to only synchronize a small number of songs, instead of "all"?  For example, on the settings screen of music from iPod in iTunes, rather than choose to synchronize the entire musical library, choose the option to synchronize playlists, artists, albums, and genres, and select only a SINGLE album.  These songs always get deleted at the end of synchronization?

  • How can I connect my 1Connectez 1st generation iPod (original iPod) to a laptop

I have an original iPod and it has a screen old port how to connect it to a laptop and they don't have these kind of show ports more

Not sure what you mean by "display port"...  The dock connector of the original iPod (2001) is a FireWire port.  You really have an original 1st gen iPod, with a (not key or click) scroll wheel that physically turns a circle?  Looks like this

If so, it can connect to a computer equipped with a FireWire port .  To do this, not to connect to a USB port.  There are "scam" products that claim to be a USB-to-FireWire adapter cable, but they don't work; they can even cause damage to the iPod if used.  FireWire and USB work very differently (and even use different power supply voltages); You cannot connect them just by changing the shape of the connector.

If your computer is a Mac (no FireWire port) with a Thunderbolt port, Apple sells a Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapter.  On a Windows PC, to connect to the 1st (or 2nd) gen iPod, you add an expansion card of a certain type that provides an actual FireWire interface.  For more details, please provide more information on your situation.

  • I have a music library of about 7.6 GB.  I have an old nano iPod which has a capacity of 8.0 GB. When I try to sync my library on the nano it accepts only about 1.68 GB.  How can I fix?

I have a library of about 7.8 GB of songs iTunes music.  I have an iPod nano to 8.0 GB.  When I try to sync my music on the iPod the IPod does accept that about 1.68 GB.  I tried to restore and re-synchronization-the same results.

    JEB

Are all your songs stored locallyin your computer's iTunes library?  iTunes cannot sync the songs that are accessed by streaming from Apple servers ("iCloud").  To check, find a song that does not sync your iPod to your iTunes library.  Do a right click and get information.  On the tab of the file Info window, browse to the location.  This site shows a path of the file to the location the file of that song on your drive, or should I say iCloud?  Expressed the iCloud, download it.

If this is the General reason why much of the music library will not sync to the iPod, you can select the pieces all affected at the same time, right-click on the selection and download.  Once all the music files are stored locally, they sync to iPod.

If this is not the cause of your problem, thanks for posting back with all additional details, such as any error message that appears when you attempt to sync.

  • My Ipod nano 6th generation is not be picked up by the new Itunes

This happened once before, after updating to itunes it no longer recognizes my Ipod nano 6th generation

    Hello Bandit320,

    Welcome to Apple Support communities.

If iTunes on your computer Windows running Windows 10 is not recognizing your iPod nano, then I suggest that you go through the steps described in the following link:

If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

  • My iPod touch is safe after that?

I was using just my iPod touch 6th generation to navigate on the internet. I am enrolled in a Forum that I visit daily to freeforums & he began to reorient me very quickly but nothing CAMR upward. I closed my browser & deleted my settings. Signed in the forum again & it's the same thing.

The forum can give me a virus, Trojan, malware or something?  Everything else seems to work fine now, but I am worried bc I use my iPod a lot (at the time)

    is I do?

Abe how do I know when I should return to the site?

It's probably a malicious ad on the site. sometimes site owners know, other times they get their ads with a company and they have no idea what drives this company.

It is also possible that the forum has been hacked to repel the bad things. I would just avoid it.

I downloaded the new update of Sierra and when I imported my iTunes my playlists library and my self-created genres does not import.  I have playlists and genres on my iPod touch.

CAN I reverse sync (to transfer my iTunes library on my iPod to my computer?

Recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device

  • Restore iPod Classic.

My iPod does not. Message is "...". in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. "3 choices; eject iPod, check out update, restore iPod. My question is, as the formatting of media, will I lose content. that is, playlists so I restore?

    Thank you.

Your iPod can have data corruption, that is why it is in recovery mode.  Do a restore erases the iPod and assigns the "factory" condition by default.  Your iTunes library is not affected.

  • How to document iMac to my apple tv 2, but sending audio to the Airport express connected to my hifi

I have an iMac, a macmini an express airport. I want to send 720 p video to the Apple TV 2 iMac (or macmini) but send audio to the express from the airport which is connected to my stereo. If the apple TV 2 will serve as a video receiver connected to my projector on the ceiling. (I don't have a way to use a hdmi cable). This is the reason why audio must be sent to the hifi differently.  Alternatevely because the macmini is connected by USB cable to my hifi (to my dac), perhaps there is a way to send audio from a movie to the stereo through audio external USB card (it is the dac) while reflecting the macmini for the Apple TV 2...

in iTunes, you can select more then 1 speaker output could be the express and then mirrored to the appletv in the manner of STDS, if is not in iTunes then I think that you need a third party such as the wing option
