  • Java Applet constantly asked for authentication

With having an application of ADF on Weblogic 10, with occasional access to a Java applet. The Java applet is loaded whenever this is necessary and not charge whenever it is not in a facet. The applet is currently in the folder public_html/applet.

When we define the SSL configuration to require a client certificate when the Java applet loading, it will constantly ask a client certificate even if the user has already presented to the client by hitting the site:

Identification of the required authentication request. Select the certificate to use for authentication.

It's annoying for users and the Java Applet requires no authentication. Is it possible that we can disable authentication or remove the prompt?

    Here's the code included:

    <applet height="1" width="1" code="applet.Applet.class"archive="/app/applet/SApplet.jar" /><param name="permissions" value="all-permissions"/></applet>

    Things I've tried:

    (1) configure the Applet on HTTP instead of HTTPS; I get a warning about mixed content and still get authentication pop up.

    (2) created a small applet that only types "HELLO World" in the console, still get authentication pop up

  • I never put a password on my bluetooth settings and when I try to connect my laptop to my computer it asks an authentication key that I don't know.

is there a predefined access key and how do I know. I use never only 1 password and it does not work, but since my computer is new, maybe there is a predefined access key?

    Hi arood511,

Most devices allow you to choose your own password, or you can use a password that is generated by Windows. To make Windows generate a passkey for you, run theAdd Bluetooth device Wizard; otherwise, contact the manufacturer of the device. Note that some devices use "0000" or "0001" as a password.

  • My bluetooth wireless phone requires an authentication key

Tonight I tried to connect my phone (LG Xenon) to the computer via bluetooth for the first time. Vista got and asked me to enter a passkey in the phone. Unfortunately, the phone was locked and I had to start. I can't give me the password of the computer again. The phone connects and asks the authentication key, but it seems that the computer can no longer "match" with the device.

I go to Control Panel - hardware and sound. I choose to add a wireless device - select my phone - after a minute to try to connect, it says that it took too much time and try again.

Am I missing something obvious? I tried the Knowledge Base, which tells me to use a wizard, but I don't have a bluetooth device wizard added.

    Thank you.

    Hi Jess_hudson,

Most devices allow you to choose your own password, or you can use a password that is generated by Windows. To make Windows generate a passkey for you, run the Add Wizard device Bluetooth; otherwise, contact the manufacturer of the device. Note that some devices use "0000" or "0001" as a password.

Remove and then reinstall the device:

    1. click on the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click on Bluetooth devices.

2 Select the device that is not working is not, then click on Remove.

    3. click on Add, press the reset button on the device (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found , then Next.

    4. If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it and then click on Next.

    5. follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

  • How does the authentication of the PDF?

I put a very vague title because I do not quite work in this area and I am very ignorant on this issue... so vexed bit me... maybe?

I'm trying to implement a document issuing system so that individuals requesting documents would receive PDF version via web browser or a set of separate program.

Each PDF would have an authentication (certificate) but documents would be to have their own separate certificate

two different PDF files with different certificate may have the same content of the document.

This is necessary because when the client (company/person who receive the PDF) asks to authenticity of the PDF using the system

the server made note of the authentication process and continues to send only the information for the first customer (which requires authenticity)

through any means of communication (be it a program or a sorting Protocol).

So there would be people/companies other than the original application person (or the party besides) would not have a form in their hand at auction do... evil.

Such a system is possible to installation?

Thanks for reading and I hope I have made sense... trying to explain what I want...

I think that digital signatures are designed to overcome this problem.

    1. it contains enough information to prove that it is YOUR certificate ("validation")

2 but it contains enough information to connect to any other PDF. It takes the secret part of the certificate that you keep.

    3. any changes to the signed PDF can be detected and discovered. You can see what was signed, and which was later changed.

If we have old fashioned signatures "scribble" your concerns are quite right. A digital signature can be copied, stolen and put on another document in seconds.

Expiration of certificates are also possible, but the PDF has not expired; It's just is more validly signed.

  • Need help on the authentication code

    Hello
    I spent OCP10g paper # 1Z0-043 in 2009 and completed ILT in 11g in April 2013.
Now I'm trying to submit the form of completion of course and he asks the authentication code.
I tried the class ID, registration ID, testing ID but no luck.
Could someone help me on this... ?

    Note:
When I passed OCP 10 g/m², the oracle training center was prometric now its pearson, please let me know if something to do with it.

    Thank you
    Pankaj

It is clear the FAQ in the center of Certification help, it is a requirement of the CMO only:

The submission of course form request an Authentication Code. What is c?
CMO DBA and Oracle instructors candidates must include an Authentication Code to submit the form request of CMO success Kit and the shape of the instructor. Candidates can obtain this code to Support de Certification Oracle.

I recommend you leave it blank.

  • Authentication code for the form of presentation of course

    Hi all!

I passed the exam 1z0-053 and courses in Oracle. Then, I tried to fill out the form of presentation of course for the OCP:
www.pearsonvue.com/Oracle-> sign in--> new presentation-> Oracle Database 11 g Administrator Certified Professional-> Instructor Led Training

I received my eKit, but there isn't any authentication Code, only the event Id, number, activation code of order and so on.

    Best regards

You should get this (activation key) information of the oracle certified Institute, where you did your oracle course.

Please check with the Institute and complete the test.

  • Why do I need to connect to IEEE xplore?

I use a computer at my University. Sometimes I need to search for articles in IEEE Xplore http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jsp

Actually, since there is a computer in my University, I don't need no connection IEEE Xplore to get the document I want. When I use other browsers like IE, it automatically connect to an account (this is perhaps because of the IP address.). But whenever I open IEEE Xplore in firefox. It is said: «Institutional Sign In» Some say it is because firefox uses a proxy? I don't know. How to solve this problem?

    Hi qiaot,
You may need to ask the administrator of these computers from the University if they have a mozilla.cfg file or preferences locked in the Firefox profile first.

The parameter that controls how Firefox connects to the internet is as follows:

    1. Click the Menu of Firefox
    2. Click Preferences/Options
    3. A settings tab open, click the magic hat or the "Advanced" tab and at the top, click on 'network '.
    4. Click on the 'Settings' button and take a look at the second screen shot. If this second screenshot has no information on a proxy this could the question and you would uncheck "do not ask for authentication if the password is saved" (assuming that you have Firefox save your passwords: Password Manager - don't forget, delete, modify and import passwords saved in Firefox )

Don't forget, if you connect to this computer with a name of ads may save the password for the profile account, however if it's a public computer, others will have access to the password if you save it to the Treasury. I hope this helps.

  • How to avoid the popup of proxy credentials?

Lately, the authentication proxy dialog box keeps popping up every now and then. It's incredibly boring: even if my credentials are stored, I still click OK, sometimes several times before I can move forward view of the Web site. Sometimes, the dialog box for a Web site on a different tab (background) appears and bothers me looking at another Web site.

    My configuration is:
Currently, I use Firefox 31.0 on openSUSE 13.1
I have a proxy cntlm in place and set it as my system proxy (http_proxy and KDE proxy settings) to the http://localhost:3128 which works fine in other applications.
I tried to use two parameters in FF: "Use system proxy settings" and "Manual proxy configuration".
I tried both checking and unchecking "do not ask for authentication if the password is saved"
I tried a suggestion on the web, by setting signon.autologin.proxy to true.
I tried a few proxy addon who promised to solve the problem.

None of them worked in the prevention of this incredibly annoying poppin proxy authentication dialog box g upwards (even if sometimes it * seemed * have not so long ago (it was after doing the on: change config above)).

I remember many times on this machine when it didn't happen, but I can't remember what I changed it's now broken (it was probably some update FF?).

Please, help me! I am lost and it is my FF very uncomfortable to use.
I need some suggestions on how to configure FF in a way that * should * work, i.e. combinations of the parameters I mentioned higher, or other, I have not considered yet.

localhost isn't in my list of proxies and it has been there for some time during which I saw this question.

However, I finally seem to have managed to get rid of this problem - yay!

Despair, I tried the option 'automatically detect the proxy for this network settings' (which I * think * I had tried in the past, but it did not work then) and I checked "do not ask for authentication if the password is saved" with the result of no longer be bothered with cropping up (seemingly random) proxy authentication dialog boxes!

I don't know why the Manual proxy and the proxy of the system use show that behavior, but I'm happy that I can use Firefox still intact today.

  • My iPhone (and Mac) has recently started inviting me to enter my password of e-mail occasionally, even when my password has not changed.

My iPhone (and Mac) has recently started inviting me to enter my password of e-mail occasionally, even when my password has not changed. I always receive my email if I do not reintroduce.  I sometimes take the message pop up on the home screen.  It happens about once a week lately.  I'm a little worried that so often on my iPhone.  The same thing happens to my Mac too, but less frequently.  I noticed that this happens for Gmail, email from work (Exchange) and iCloud, but not all other accounts.  Potential virus?

    Not necessarily

When the mail (especially sent) is rejected by the server - for some reason - server busy or too large attachment or even unstable connection - the first step is to ask for authentication

I would see if there is a model in terms of contacts or attachments that you can discern

It seems that I solved the problem, but I'm not sure it helped.

After restart of the operating system, the two connections: old and new Cisco via IPSec connection, began to work.

  • Unable to connect to the parental control with existing Microsoft Account

I can't connect to Windows Live Family Safety with my existing Microsoft Account.

I enter the e-mail address and password and click the Sign In button, and then get an error message saying "the e-mail address or the password is incorrect."

The e-mail and password are correct, then why can't connect? I used to be able to connect to OK.

    1. This happens on two different Windows 7 laptops. I rebooted, cleared history, etc., and this did not help.
    2. I checked the e-mail address and the password several times (case is correct, that shift caps lock is not on, etc.).
    3. My address e-mail/Microsoft account is not an address Outlook.com, Live.com or Hotmail.com - it's my own domain, something like<*** email="" address="" is="" removed="" for="" privacy="" ***="">
    4. The Microsoft Account works for all other applications and web sites on my computer Windows 7 mobile, phone Nokia Lumia 920, Lenovo ThinkPad 2 compressed (Win8).
    5. This Microsoft Account <*** email="" address="" is="" removed="" for="" privacy="" ***="">works very well for Office 365 Home Premium.

    Thank you

    And the solution is...

Disable the verification of two steps in the security settings for information on live.com.

The parental control client cannot authenticate because he cannot ask the authenticator application code. Can't Movie Maker or one of the other applications of Windows Essentials .

Awareness in two steps of authentication must be added to the Windows Essentials applications.

  • WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING PROBLEM

whenever I try to connect to the other computer on my network, the window opens asking for the password set by the other computer, so that no password is defined by the other computer. ANOTHER COMPUTER CAN BROWSE MY SHARED FOLDER BUT UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET TO CONNECT WITH THE COMPUTER OF MINE.

A PING ON THE TWO COMPUTER IS OK.

    PL. HELP

Two important pieces of information are missing from your message.  Is the machine that you are trying to connect to Windows XP Home or XP Pro?  If it is XP Pro, "Simple file sharing" turned on this computer?

In general, here's the sequence that is used to connect to another computer on the network:

    1. If the target computer is XP Home or if the target computer is XP Pro and Simple file sharing is enabled, go to step 4.
    2. If the same user logon name exists on both machines and the passwords for this connection are the same on both machines, the connection is established.  Otherwise...
    3. If the same logon user name exists on both machines and the passwords are different, the connection is refused.  Otherwise...
    4. If the guest user is enabled on the target computer and no password, then the connection is authenticated as the user Guest.  Otherwise...
    5. A window opens asking for authentication information (username / password) for the target computer.  If Simple file sharing is enabled, then you need to authenticate as the Guest user.  If Simple file sharing is not active on the target computer, then you can authenticate you as any user that is recognized by the computer target.

So if when you try to connect, you get the window of connection in step 5, then you should you a change such as something in steps 2 through 4 to intercept the connection attempt.

    Hope this helps,
    JW
