The instillation disk will not load because I have windows 8 and it works on XP etc. I know that there is a patch or fix somewhere to get the loading disc because I had to work until my laptop crashed and I reset it.  How to operate on Windows 8?

  1. on the control panel press the right arrow key, and then the configuration icon.

  2. press on the down -arrow, then Preferences.

  3. touch Date & time.

  4. set the date & time.

  It sounds like a code of 'asserting' firmware, something really bad happened - the most probable hardware problem.

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  I notice that the file extension of your "Test - 1.jpg Document ' file is JPG." It is an image file. Please try scanning to a PDF document and open it with Adobe.

• HP Office Jet 6600: HP Office Jet will not scan or print

  Whenever I try to copy or scan I get an error message "Unable to scan, copy or send a fax."  I tried all the solutions, and none of them works.  I have spent a whole day on this problem and still have no solution.  It prints very well.

  Scanner worked fine until today when I tried to scan a page.  Print and scan 4.9 doctor says my scanner is fine, but scanned page is black and adjustments do not change this.  Also, I used to be able to add a page or more and who went with Windows 10.  This machine is 4 1/2 years and not under warranty.

  I see that you are having problems when parsing printer Officejet 8600. Could you please try and make a copy of the photo on the printer? Let me know if the copy option works very well.

  If the copy also gives you a black page, try the following steps:

  • Unplug the printer from the power outlet.
  • Wait 2-3 minutes and then plug back the power cable directly to the wall outlet (do not use a surge protector or an extension cord)

  If the copy is fine, please let me know. In addition, tell me how the printer is connected. Is it connected using USB or wireless?

  My Office 6812 jet will print but not scan. Scan Doctor worked for three hours. Progress bar remained the same, even though is says it is scanning. Should it take this long? Also, I can not bring up the print, Scan, tools page. Have the latest drivers installed. Help

  You will have to abandon it. The doctor of printing and scanning only takes a minute to run.

  Readiris Pro 12 software only comes with some model printers. I don't think that it is with the 6600 JO. It would have been on a separate disk. IRIS OCR software is included and can provide scanned text editable (RTF file)

  I'm here to help you with your printing issue!

  As you cannot print Web pages, I think that the web browser or Web pages could be the root cause of the problem, however, I could certainly be wrong too. I think this way because normally when there is a conflict of printer driver, you would not be able to print from anywhere at all from your PC.

  I suggest that you try using another web browser and try your impression from here to test this theory.

  If you want to let me know the operating system you are running and what web browsers that you tried, I'll help more if necessary. Please let me know!

  Follow the steps below and let me know what happens?

  First step: clear temp directory

  1. On desktop applications do a right-click of the mouse and select applications. In the application run, type %temp% .
  2. Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).
  3. Proceed to step 2 below

  Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

  1 download the drivers and full software features

  2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

  3. when the installation window opens, press the Cancel button to stop the installation

  4. on desktop applications do a right-click of the mouse and select applications. In the application run, type %temp% .

  5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

  6. right click on the folder and select copy

  7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

  8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

  9 open the Util folder

  10 open the CCC folder

  11 start the uninstall_L4

  12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  13. run Disk Cleanup by pressing the Windows and R key at the same time back the term calls and Type cleanmgr.exe and press to enter.  Select all the boxes and all delete. Click on the link below about this tool and no disclaimer.

  14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.
