You can submit these data to Mozilla and share with the volunteers of the forum to see if it points to the solution.   Downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first of all uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option 'remove my Firefox personal data '. If you select this option, it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

  I don't know what model of laptop you have, but on my Satellite A300, everything works fine.
  I disabled the illuminance in the BIOS settings, but I can always turn on or off using on/off button.

• Just I updated Firefox, now I go to all the sites says that the connection is not approved. If I let an exception, the formatting is all wrong on the site.

  I 'reset' Firefox at the suggestion of Mozilla as my browser worked slowly. What a mistake! As soon as I did, all sites have become unreliable.   Hi there champrider,

  It sounds like your computer guard stop on its own, and the only way you can get it to come is to unplug for a while. If you get some sort of error when the computer restarts, take a look at this article:

  OS X El Capitan: If your Mac restarts and a message

  If this isn't the case, then I suggest starting in safe mode to delete a few caches as well as system-level to check and fix if necessary startup disk.

  OS X El Capitan: start in safe mode

  If the problem persists then I would then reset the SMC on your computer:

  Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

• Re: Satellite L500 - stop all the time

  I have a Satellite L500 and I did a re image at the factory on the parameters of the box. When the image is complete and it starts to set up drivers, it stops, the screen was still the backlight but nothing else, I try to wake up and nothing happens. I held down the power button to stop and when I turn it back on the screen stays black and nothing happens.

  Once when I got it to work, I started windows normally and there was a message saying that the pilot had a problem. If someone has experienced this problem and if so how is it fixed?

  Sometimes if I remove the battery and then replace it, it will come down normally, but stops shortly after. I do not think that it is an overheating problem because it will stay there and work well, everything in the re image is done.

  Any ideas short of flush down the toilet.

  This happens in the BIOS too? I mean you should access the BIOS and leave it for a while. What is going on?

  It could also be a problem due to a higher internal temperature. If you must clean your laptop using the jet of compressed air to blow the dust from the cooling fans.

  In the worst case there s a hardware malfunction, and you need assistance to professional people. They can diagnose the problem and repair it under warranty.
