• Opening an external link using javascript.  Keeping the new window to the front

  I display a picture from an external link when it is called my swf.  When the user clicks a button, place appears a corresponding picture in a new browser window.  After the picture window is open, if the user clicks another button, that the photo browser update but its is no longer at the front.  I know that I need to use the focus() command but can not understand how to integrate it in my AS3 code.

  When I put a paper on the camera on my iMac (to ensure privacy), it fades the screen brightness. How can I fix it?

  The simulations that I create are very simple themselves but are intended to use in the classroom to help students learn more about the proven theory.  I hope to be able to place a 'help' or 'other info' button on the front panel that rises wants more info on theory, they can click on it and a pop up appears with background information on it.  It should also have a second button to close it and return to the main façade.  Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

  Use a structure of the event on the main vi when the button is clicked, launches a "help" void / vi. On the inside of the Sub vi (with the set properties to load the front when it is called, of course), use another structure of the event to wait until then click on the button of the Subvi, you can return to the main VI. Do you need assistance on using the structures of the event?

• Why all my open windows minimize when I move another window on the screen?

  What happens is that when I move a window on the screen all my other windows minimize, as this half the window sometimes disappears or appears another window on top.

  I am currently running Windows 7, it is aware of the updates. I ran virus checks. Also, I found a way to stop it from happening by unchecking the "use Visual styles on windows and buttons" in the performance options, however my PC should run with this setting is enabled, and it has been for more than a year.

  If it helps, here are the basis for my PC specifications:

  i5 - 2500 k

  8 GB RAM

  1 TB SSHD (this is where the BONE is)

  HARD DRIVE 500 GB

  160 GB HDDGTX 770

  OCZ ZS 650W 80 + Bronze

  All the drivers are up to date.

  I don't know why I didn't try this earlier but I changed the theme to one of those aero preset instead of one custom I made, has so far prevented the problems I had with the windows tearing and glitching. Im not sure what caused my custom aero theme to cause a lot of problems.

• Simple way to put a window on the primary monitor?

  Is there a simple way to make a window on my second monitor the first monitor without turning on the second monitor? I have my TV hooked up as my second monitor and hate when I try to open a web browser and it appears on the TV (which is usually disabled) instead of my computer screen. Is it possible to easily move this window to the main screen without turning on my TV to locate the window?

  Press Win P and change the settings of the computer monitor only when not to use the second monitor.

  It is 'possible' for a program to write so that it will stay, or at least trying to stay, in short
  on the desktop. But this is not a function, you can enable in Windows. And this no doubt

  only works on the office if at all in Windows 8/8.1.

  There is Kiosk Mode/Assigned access but not practical for a multifunction computer.

• How can I put form fields to the front or the back?

  I have a document with several form fields/buttons to create effects of pup - up in a chart of information.

  So I use the fields to create a hot spot of mouse and others which appear. Now, of course, the hotspot must be at the front (or), otherwise it gets distracted in its function of overview by the object burst into place (picture) who throws on it. (The result would look like a flashing effect, as you hover over the hot spot.)

  Now what should I do the fields? ICH can organize pictures and texts to come forward or to hide behind other objects. But in the field in form editing mode, there is no option. Also, it does not work to just cut and paste, they reappear in their former posts, often behind the other fields.

  The tab order effectively sets the agenda, but if a field is not dead it will be set forward if it receives focus.

• I can't move, resize, reduce or close the window of the browser despite everything inside the window still works.

  I don't know which details are necessary, then I'll just charge everything I can think of.

  I use an Asus laptop with windows 7. I've never had a problem with firefox in the past (beyond the usual freezing and some obvious problems with pop-up advertising that are through for the course with firefox since adblocker never does what he says... not really.) Let us be honest.) I use my virus protection Avast, and it is also up to date.

  My problem started about an hour ago when firefox is not responding. The video, I had to play kept going, but I couldn't interact with anything. Assuming that the program froze for the billionth time this week, I restarted, it. This always solved freezing issues in the past. Now, however, firefox doing something again.

  I can access the menus and almost everything on the window itself, with the exception of the minimize/maximize/close buttons, I can't move the window at all and I can't manually resize. I also noticed that although videos will play, I can only click on their buttons if there is another small window on top of firefox. Video controls doesn't appear to like it and when I click on them firefox comes naturally to the front and the video responds with the key I used, but the buttons disappeared again and I can't resume playback without the smaller window at the front back to the buttons display again.

  It's like half of firefox is frozen while the other half is still ongoing in some way.

  I have no themes that could be the cause. Literally no. I only use firefox for things that can no longer be opened in the opera, so I did not need any theme default beyond. Addons only I installed on purpose were adblockers (God knows why. they don't DO nothing.) Although several other things randomly appear to have been installed over time with the help of one thing or another. Various plugins and players and versions of java, that sort of thing. But I have everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) in the menu of the disabled addon.
  I tried to boot in SafeMode (the program, no windows) and the problem is still there except that now it will appear not the menu bar at all unless I press the first ALT and even in this case, it won't let me actually click on anything in the menu bar. When I try the entire bar disappears. I had to close firefox with the Task Manager.
  Restart will fix the problem for about 15 seconds before it comes back.
  Any attempt to update do not have as it says I am already up to date on everything so I don't know what his issue is.

  It is not an urgent issue now because most of what I need to happen on the screen window that I use, but some of my sites have buttons that literally disappear into something else than to full screen and I guess it will be a much larger gene in the coming days.

  Well, nothing is damaged so far. It seems to be itself has for the moment.

• InDesign CS4 window fills the screen when opening

  I just installed Adobe CS4 Design Premium version 6.0.3.  When I open a document using InDesign, the window almost fills the screen 30 "on my Apple HD Display.  I would like to set the window size so that it frames a document of 8.5 "x 11" portrait with only a bit of margin all around. "  When I do that, and you save the document, it always opens to the same, large window.  It would be much more effective that I could put the size of the window to the required dimensions so that it would open in this configuration and not in the large version.  I can't get there.  Any ideas?  Thanks for any help you can give.  I am running 10.5.7 on a Mac Pro (early 2008) with 2 GB of RAM and a lot of hard disk space.

• Bug in several windows in the finder with several screens

  When you use finder on several screens (with separate spaces) there is a problem when you enter fullscreen.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. open finder on a screen.

  2. open another window in the finder on a different view.

  3. full screen or finder window (any).  You will be able to observe a Visual problem where the finder window that you do not use maximizes and enters full screen then go back to normal, just before the finder window you use between full screen.

  4. at this point your finder window full screen is missing in the top navigation bar.  To reveal it, open your mission control and the space finder-click and you will see.  Basically, the navigation bar is on the finder space expanded while the rest of the finder is on office space.

  5a. If you try to exit the full screen, your finder window will freeze.

  5. before going back to full screen, if you go to the mission control and drag your space viewfinder on the screen where your other window finder is currently on, you will be able to leave the full screen and the finder window will not freeze.

  Cause of the error:

  Still, the problem occurs if the following conditions are met:

  -You have two or more finder windows (if you have only a window of finder, you can always expand it without any problem)

  -You maximize a window of finder, and it's the only finder window on that office space

  For example, if you have three screens and you have 2 1 1 finder windows in offices respectively, you will encounter the error when you maximize the window of the solitary finder on the monitors of 2nd or 3rd.  Maximize a window in the finder on the first monitor has no questions.

  Please try to reproduce.  I hope that it is easily reproduced on any machine and I hope this will be fixed as soon as possible.

• Audio to fall when you open another window

  I recently got a new computer with windows already installed Skype and 8. Skype worked perfectly for a while, but now that I have encountered a few problems. First of all (a minor problem) I couldn't leave Skype in anyway so I had to resort using alt - tab whenever I visited Skype and wanted to leave. Second, and more important again, now Skype works perfectly well right up until I go to another window. The call involuntaringly drops/parks and audio (back and forth) goes.

  I have no idea on what could be the problem and that's why I'd certainly appreciate as much assistance that you are willing to give me .

• Is there a way to make it clear which window has the focus on a multi-monitor Windows system?
