  Hmm I think the BSOD appears because you didn t add SATA drivers in the Win XP operating system.

  However, you can try to install Win XP on your laptop without the use of the SATA driver, but you can change the SATA AHCI in the BIOS in compatible mode.

Then I put on the implementation of a virtual machine using VMware and an old copy of XP, I had. However, when I try and install XP I get the error that the product id is not valid. Now, I know that the software is legitimate - it was part of a XP operating system provided with an HP laptop - so my question is how I can get through the installation? I will not buy another XP code - after all I will ever use again once I finished the flash - and for the same price, I could buy a new router!. I just want to save the Earth, a small piece of discharge potential and save myself $20!
