  Added information about the file will not affect the quality of the jpeg, as long as you file > save it after you have added the info file. I recommend adding file information in Bridge so you don't have to save in Photoshop. Simply select the photo of Bridge, choose file > file Info, add your info and your done without affecting the quality.

• Missing file information

  Have recently bought a new computer and trandferred my photos on 2nd HDD.  If I open a photo that was published on the old computer and go to files - Information - and then select historical it shows me all the actions that I took in editing this file (photo).  If I opened a new photo on this computer and perform the same actions edition and then go to file - | Information - and then select historical, it shows nothing.  I realized the two suggestions given to me by the Support from Adobe (by increasing the size of the history and the size of the cache), but it makes no difference.  Can anyone help?

• import MP3s into itunes but who wish to change file information when importing

  Recently, I sold my coffee where I bought a whole bunch of music. All the music was played by a pioneering system that has been updated weekly with new songs. All different musicians or groups. Most of the songs where the most popular at that time, so albums never whole or complete, but mainly of independent numbers. Now, I want to import into Itunes (latest version). Problem is that I find myself with a list of many simple figures of individual bands. I can litterly scroll for 5 minutes before I'm at the bottom. Is there a way by Automator or Applescript to change the file to an mp3 information while I import into Itunes. In this case, I want to make a fixed name musicians and an albumname who goes to all the numbers. I think I can finish with a name and an album in which there are more than 6000 songs.

  I hope that I have explained in a way that you understand. I think there must be a solution by automator or applescript, but I can not find or make up. I'm sorry. I hope someone can help.

  Not that you import. There are a lot of scripts on the web site of Dougscripts edition of track information once it is in iTunes, or you can search by using a third party application such as MediaRage to edit outside of iTunes and then import.

• prototype of the project file information

  I have a request where I build a dll and the functions in the dll must be packaged for use in other software. I am creating the function wrapper for text file automatically. Ideally I ould like to use only the file of the project to do, but there is some information that I don't see in the file.

  I don't see where the prototype of the function. For this reason, I tried to build to the VIProtoInfo I can get all the parameter names, if they are controls or indicators and can determine is that they are chains, but I do not see the data type of other types of controls.   I will reiterate that you should look into the FileExplorerDemo application that comes with the JDE.

  Specifically, see the class FileConnection, you will see that there is a method called list() and a method called getName().  The list() method will return a list of all the files that are in the current directory, so if you open a FileConnection in SDCard it may return a list like this:

  1. file:///SDCard/foo.txt
  2. file:///SDCard/Bob/
  3. file:///SDCard/wow.MP3

  Note that the number of section 2 has a ' / ' at the end to indicate that it is a directory.  So if you want to find all the files into it you need to open a FileConnection him and call the method list() on this connection.  To get just the file name and not all the information path open a FileConnection in a file and call the getName() on this connection method.  Here's how you should probably address the issue.

  1. Open a FileConnection on the SD card and call the list() method.
  2. Go through each element of list() and open a file connection to those.
  3. If the connection is a directory (that you can find with the method isDirectory() then call list again and recursively go through this process again.
  4. If the connection is a file call the getName() method and add it to your listfield.

  Interestingly, I find now that information file is available on most of the images of my Canon 4Ti, but not all.  So, I'm still puzzled.  Some today turned as large JPEG have any available in CS5 file info.

  the new and improved version of the PS has changed the information area of the file, such as a newspaper photographer, I use it all the time.

  in previous versions, for example the date box allowed various dates to be entered, which now seems to be missing

  Dave, you're right. This feature has been removed from 2014 CC PS we dropped all Flash content and are passed to the HTML based panels.

• Organizer - file information

  RE: Photoshop and first 10 elements and Orangizer

  Is there a way when you view a file in the menu Organizer see also the size of the file (LxH resolution and pixels). I have some duplicate files and some are originals and more large size. I like ot be able to quickly determine which is the original, but I can't seem to find a way to display the size of the file in the Organizer menu and especially with the photo and the caption or other information.

  Also, also hovering over the icon of album to determine what albums is a photo in particular, is there a way to display it all the time without having to go on the icon? These two simple things would make my life so much easier. I looked for them, but maybe I'm just missing them.

  Right-click on the thumbnail and select Show Properties. You can leave the Properties dialog box open when you scroll the images to see the different dimensions.

• CS5 Panel blank file information: after 'archive and install' (osx)

  After procedure archive and install (osx 10.5.8 Intel) I see an information panel on the empty file (all applications of Photoshop CS5 and CS5)... I have to force quit, how could it be solved?

  I have the same problems with Illustrator, Fireworks, and Indesign... only in file-> file Info Panel, I also struggle with 'quick view' (space bar) in all FLV files, they cannot get a glimpse of anything, I just saw one - com.adobe.flv... The reason why the panels did not work properly has a missing file to trust Flash for this location of the user. Without such a trust file, the built-in flash player refuses to "play"... but what mean? I do not understand this...

  Vanillaman, I see that you are still having problems with this.  I was also looking around, and this could be a problem.  For Windows, you want to make sure that you have the Adobe configuration file in the following directory:

  C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust\

  The contents of the config file is just the path to the file info panel:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\XMP\Custom file Info panels

  I saw a post where they just put c:\, but I wouldn't not because it would allow any application install a flash anywhere on your computer.

• How to replace an include file information?

  Hi all - I have an application that allows users to modify the HTML of their custom headers and feet.
  
  I'm looking to give users a list of terms that are predefined to include in their pages that gets replaced when the header is displayed on the application.

  I had nothing to do so I made a little demo for your application. Do something like that. You can try running this first and see the result, and then you can base your app in this approach.

  Is it possible to display an info of photo/video (file size, location etc.) contained within the iPhoto iOS application. I remember to see him in the opening of macOS application...

  No, sorry.  The Photos.app on iOS devices does not display a lot of meta data.  It just goes to show the date and location, iPhoto on iOS 7 used to be able to show the file name, size, but since the upgrade to iOS 8 and newer, it is more possible. Maybe the 3rd party apps can show this, but I have yet to find any.
