  • File USB supports for disappointment 19BL502B TV

    Hello

After reviewing various brands and models of 19-inch TVs, I decided on the Toshiba 19BL502B, after downloading the manual for http://www.toshiba-om.net online.

What particularly attracted me to it was the support of USB for movies Xvid encoded, as described in 'Appendix C: supported File Formats for USB Mode' in the manual that I downloaded from the top.

So, I bought one, paid in cash, but when I try to run files xvid, TV does not have this format.
Research in the paper manual that I got with the TV, Xvid files are not mentioned at all in Appendix C.

Convert these files in mpeg2 standard comes with a heavy fall in quality and even when converted to Vob format, the image is ok, but there is no sound.

I tried to take it back to the shop but they say there is nothing wrong with television, as it does what it says in the manual.

So what's happening? Why my new TV from Toshiba UK does not supports xvid, even if the online manual says it does, and I know that make televisions more expensive and larger Toshiba?

Can I get an upgrade of the software that supports xvid as advertised?
My software version is 0.6.6 V and when I do an update he claims it's the lates version.

So is there an earlier version of the software which, is there a place I can download it, put it on a USB key and upgrade to get what I consider all of the announced features?

I am very, very disappointed, because it was really the main reason that I bought the machine, so I didn't have to reconvert and DVDs to read.

    Disappointed Frank.

    Hello

File formats supported for USB mode are listed in appendix c.
And the video Format Xvid is supported for files with the file extension. AVI
So if your movies are encoded in the format xvid video, you must use the .avi file extension.

Difference between material FAT & FAT32?

I have a disk full of files, and it is in the FAT32 file system. As I can't copy large files (5 GB +) in this player, I intend to fix this by changing the file systems. Apparently, it is not possible to do it without formatting. I am curious about a way to do this without destroying the drive.

    Thanks in advance.

Difference between material FAT & FAT32?

First, note that there are three varieties of FAT: FAT12, FAT16, and
FAT32. Many people call just FAT16 FAT, because before that FAT32 is out.
FAT16 is the only variety used for hard drives, so just
    The FAT was not enough.

FAT12 (hardly any more used) had a maximum volume size of 12 MB.
It has been used almost exclusively for floppy disks.

FAT16 was used on hard disks (or partitions) up to 4 GB and had a
cluster size which varied from 2 KB to 64 KB, depending on the size of
the partition. It serves almost never again, because almost nobody does
a as small as 4 GB partitions.

FAT32 FAT16 succeeded and has a maximum drive size of 2 TB. His
maximum file size is 4 GB, which explains why you can't copy a file of 5 GB to
it. its cluster size is 4 KB up to an 8 GB partition. Beyond 8 GB the
cluster size develops up to 32 KB.
NTFS, that's what almost everyone should use on their hard drives
today. Its maximum volume size is 2 ^ ^ 64-1 and its maximum file size
16 × 1024 is ^ ^ 6 bytes (much more than the bigger hard drive available
today). Cluster size is 4 KB, regardless of the size of the volume.

I have a disk full of files, and it is in the FAT32 file system. As I can't copy large files (5 GB +) in this player, I intend to fix this by changing the file systems.

    Good! You should.

Apparently, it is not possible to do it without formatting.

It's not correct. To convert to NTFS, use you the CONVERT
command. But first read http://www.aumha.org/a/ntfscvt.htm , because
There is an important question about the size of cluster that is not obvious.

Also note that conversion is an important step, touching everything on your
drive. When you take a big step, no matter how unlikely it is
always possible that something can go wrong. For this reason, there
careful to make sure that you have a backup of everything you can not afford to
    lose before you start.

  • file system question for cam action DRH-AS30V adapters

The microSDHC card provided with this camera is formatted to support the FAT32 file system, and so is limited to 4 GB files. I need to know if the camera formats cards differently adapters. What cards adapters format camera for the exFAT file system? Thank you!

Each time an SDXC card is inserted, the action cam uses the format instead of the format FAT32 exFAT. In fact, the device to which you connect the cam action (more an SDXC card inserted) must also support exFAT file system. Otherwise, the action cam / card will not be read correctly.

  • File system access for applications, where is ' accounts/1000/removable/sdcard/camera' I can not find...

    Hello

I have pictures stored in the accounts/1000/removable/sdcard/camera, but I can't find anywhere on my camera, I can see it using the app file manager with bb10, under ' Media Card/camera ' and the filepicker may also be seen, but I can't open a file residing in the path: for example accounts/1000/removable/sdcard/camera/img0000123.jpg.  I also tried to find it by using the "Target File System Navigator" momentics, I can't seem to find the sd card media anywhere there either... I took a quick glance to access to the file for docs apps system at: https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/documentation/device_platform/filesystem/

and there, I see no reference to my sdcard/media...

IF someone could help me it would be greatly appreciacted...  Thank you

The working directory (also known as the current directory) for an application is the folder above the data / folder, which is/accounts/1000/appdata/yourappidhere for applications in the personal area.

In this folder are a number of actual files and symbolic links to other folders. A shared symbolic links / if you can use it to search the shared folder on the device, as you do here.

There is no symbolic links for removable file systems...

You must use the full path to access. Note that they have another symbolic link upwards in the root folder, specifically the /sdcard2, that points to the SD card, but I don't know if that has supported (documented and supposed to exist in the future).

I'm trying to transfer files from one computer to the other, both with XP.  Former is set up with the file system FAT 32. new using NTFS.  When I copy the files on thumb drive FAT 32 to and try and transfer to computer NTFS, files transfer, but nothing in them.  This does mean that I can't make such a transfer, or is there something I am doing wrong.  THX.

Y at - it files of 4 GB or more large size?  It's the only thing I can think of that could cause a problem, but I only expect to see only when copying from NTFS to FAT32.

  • Systems supported for TMS 13.2.1 and Release 14

Hello, I would like to know if there is a document somewhere showing what are the systems could be registered with TMS 13.2.1 and TMS 14, because we thought the upgrade of TMS or not, we have also a lot of systems, the 'old' too, which we are not sure if can be saved as a type system instead of a room.

    We had this band:

    Tandberg 1000MXP, 3000MXP, 75MXP, 770MXP, 880MXP, 95MXP, 990MXP, Maestro.

    Polycom Viewstation 128, Viewstation, VSX7000A.

    LifeSize MX.

I think that the MXP series can be recorded without any problems, but I'm not sure of the Polycom VSX, Viewstations, Lifesize MX and Tandberg Maestro (even if it's still a Tandberg).

    Kind regards.

  • File formats supported for attributes of the BLOB

    Hi all

I have an attribute of type BLOB. Can any body tell me what all file formats are supported for attribute of type blob in the sites.

It is that I am trying to download a format .map file. I'm able to download but when I try to fetch the URL of the BLOB, it gives the error of content server. Looks like the blob server does not support the .map files. My logic works well for other formats such as pdf, jpeg, css, js, etc etc.

Is there any file where configure us formats all we will support in blob.

    Hello

Maybe the problem is that you do not have this extension in the table of MIME type and you must add it.

    It will be useful,

Ok. I got a virus by Symmantec.  I have phoned by Nick Life Support for PC.  They said that they have been informed of our Microsoft's IP address because we were infected and that they call to help eliminate the virus.  Is this a valid service of Microsoft?  How did get our phone at home?  Now, they have my cell phone number, too.  Please check validation.

It is a scam.  Microsoft does not offer a service like this.  For something similar, see announcement warning: hoax E-mail indicating that the network is infected-security

  • Deploy file. DLL for CompactRIO with LabView

    Hello

I have compiled a DLL-file of SimulationX, and I want to deploy this file on a CompactRIO with LabView. How do I do that?

    Thanks in advance

A correction, the x 900 cRIO and 908 x seem to use an x 86 CPU and execution Pharlap ETS. PharLap ETS allows you to run SOME Windows but by far not all DLLs, because it supports only a subset of the Windows API available on Windows 2000. So, if you have a controller of 908 x cRIO (900 x are very old and unlikely to be used these days) you MAY be able to deploy the DLLS on your cRIO system. To make sure that you check the DLL API not supported importation by the auditor of the DLL which can be downloaded for your version of LabVIEW specific here.

    =========================================
Apple's QuickTime .mov files are not compatible with Movie Maker.

The following freeware can be used to convert the .mov
file in a more convenient format:

Pazera Free MOV to AVI Converter

(click on the blue Download button not the Red)

After you download... Open the program...
    (no installation required)

Drag and drop one or several .mov files...

    Choose an output directory...

Select... WMV AVI - Video Codec - version 1 (WMP 7)...

Convert... (the button in the top tool bar)

When the file is converted, you can change it in Windows
Movie Maker. Just open Movie Maker and go... File /.
Import into Collections and access your converted file.

  • The script generation is not supported for Table with XML or UDT column Types

I get this message trying to generate a script to create a table with an XMLTYPE column.  We use the Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio to generate scripts as SQLDeveloper does still not support TFS integration.  He was always pretty easy to generate scripts and maintain control of source code in this way (with the exception of materialized views).  It was great, just right click and generate a script for the project and check it in.  Unfortunately as the adoption of XML grows, we find passage to the SQL Developer more often to perform tasks not supported and then return to the VS IDE to manage source code control.  Free of any chance that it will be supported in the future?

Yes, our plan is to support several types as time goes by.

You possibly can speed things along by voting or by filing a request for new feature here:

  • Operating systems supported for view connection Server 5.0

We have updated our current connection to 5.0 servers, but they run on Windows 2003 (64-bit). 5.0 view documentation indicates that the login Server 5.0 view must run on Windows 2003 R2 (32-bit) or Windows 2008 R2 (64-bit).

    See http://pubs.vmware.com/view-50/index.jsp?topic=/com.vmware.view.installation.doc/GUID-37D39B4F-5870-4188-8B11-B6C41AE9133C.html

Our current connection servers are working fine on Windows 2003 (64-bit), so I wonder if the documentation is correct. I think that its more likely that Version 5.0 require a x 64 Windows.

Connection to the server may run on other variants of the OS, but you only need to run it on one of the supported operating systems.

Also note that for the PCoIP gateway features, the connection to the server or Security Server must be running that Server 2008 R2 64-bit.

In http://www.VMware.com/PDF/vSphere4/R40/vsp_compatibility_matrix.PDF it says that Windows 2008 R2 is supported as the operating system on the server vCenter.

    In http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1022137 R2 is not mentioned.

    Then...

    Is R2 platform support?

I read the correct documentation that SQL 2008 Express is NOT supported as vCenter database?

Are questions about wheter it works - it is questions about knowledge if it is supported.

Yes.  Use you it as a database, or just use the SQL SERVER 2005 Express that comes with vCenter?
