FilePicker fileSelected() signal do not work

When I select a file in FilePicker, it must issue the signal of fileSelected() with QStringList to the URI of the file, but this QStringList is empty.

FilePicker::selectedFiles() public method doesn't work either.

How to know the files selected in FilePicker now?

This SDK Gold is catastrophic for me.

Help, help!

OK, advice to all people using FilePicker:

In the Archives of .pro:

BEFORE GOLD SDK

LIBS += -lfilepicker

AFTER THE SDK GOLD

LIBS += -lbbcascadespickersINCLUDEPATH += ${QNX_TARGET}/usr/include/bb/cascades/pickers

    It will not work. So where should I put the FilePicker?

    Hey anta40,

    Have you registered the Filepicker in main.cpp file?

    #include

    // Register Filepicker
        qmlRegisterType("CustomComponent", 1, 0,"FilePicker");

    You will also need to include in the qml file

    import bb.cascades.pickers 1.0

    And in the .pro file

    LIBS   += -lbbcascadespickers

    Another thing, your withdrawal difficulty.

  • NotificationGlobalSettings modeChanged signal does not work after restarting

    Hello

    I test this on the OS SDK 10.2.1.1927 for my Alpha of Dev C. My application is headless without long-term stop. The signal and slot work perfectly upon deployment of app on device. My slot is called as soon as there are changes to the Notification Mode of the phone.

    But once the restart of the device, for some reason any. Housing starts running headless, the signal and slot is CONNECTED, because I use the bool to check if the connection is successful. And yes it returned true for the connection.

    But in fact, my slot is not called at all. All changes may not be received. Someone at - it get the same question?

    OK, get it fixed. I don't know if BlackBerry will fix this in the operating system or not, but in case you need, then the another work-around is to delay the connection.

    Delaying the call connect to connect this signal modeChanged (bb:latform::NotificationMode:Type) to your site that handles things when the overall Notification Mode is changed.

    In my case, I tested with a delay of 3 seconds and it does not work properly. After the device restarts, it still works properly.

  • Cannot connect FilePicker fileSelected events

    Hello

    I managed to get work with simple waterfall UI filepicker, but I need now to instantiate C instead of qml.

    I wrote the following code on the sample of Filepicker in documentation

    Pickers::FilePicker * filePicker = NULL;

    void FSLSoundwork::canceled() {}

    We are supposed to get here when Cancel is pressed

    }

    void FSLSoundwork::FSLFileSelected (const QStringList & selectedFiles) {}
    We are supposed to happen when a file is selected

    }

    FSLSoundwork::FSLSoundwork (bb::cascades:Application * app)
    : QObject (app)
    {

    .

    .

    .

    filePicker = new pickers::FilePicker (pickers::FileType:ther);
    QStringList filters;
    filters< "*.lib"=""><>
    filePicker-> setFilter (filters);
    filePicker-> setTitle ("select the file");
    filePicker-> setMode (pickers::FilePickerMode:icker);

    QObject::connect (filePicker, SIGNAL (filesSelected (const QStringList & selectedFiles)), this, SLOT (FSLFileSelected (const QStringList & selectedFiles)));
    QObject::connect (filePicker, SIGNAL (canceled ()), this, SLOT (canceled (()));

    filePicker-> open();

    Open function works well, but I can't do any event in the selector.

    No idea what's wrong with my code?

    Thank you

    Fred

    The name of the signal is fileSelected, not filesSelected.

    Not sure if this has no effect, but you don't need to give the setting a name when you use it in SIGNAL or the SLOT. you just need the type of variable.

  • My 7 GPS iPhone does not work in any GPS application

    I got my new iPhone 7 last week. Yeaterday was the first day I tried to use Waze to give me directions to an address, but he was constantly telling me that she is looking for the GPS signal.

    I first thought that it is a problem with Waze so I reinstalled, displayed/hidden it's approval of location on and outside Services, but nothing helped. I restarted the phone, even restored (Yes. I have about 2 hours waiting to do).

    But that has not worked so I thought that perhaps Waze is, after all the blame. So I tried also maps from Apple and Google Maps. NONE of them could get my location. And while my position was 'fixed' at Waze, showing me home - Yes, Waze is still showing me the House status even if I am in another city - maps of Apple and Google Maps shows my post to jump around randomly on the map.

    I tried to reset my edge settings, my privacy settings, each of them. Nothing helps.

    Is there perhaps someone who has a solution, or should I go through the pain and try to replace a week later I got it?

  • Upgrade to 10.11.6 - now monitors do not work

    We run El Capitan on a Mac Pro (not mobile office) with AMD over-pants D500 3072 MB graphics card.

    He showed on a Dell monitor. It stopped working around when we have updated to 10.11.6.

    We tried to connect to different monitors and the TV. We tried HDMI to HDMI on a Samsung, HDMI to HDMI to a Dell U2711, Thunderbolt Display port on a Dell U2715H and fell in love with Mini Display Port on a U2715H. In all of these combinations, no image appears on the monitors/TVs and they say that no signal is received.

    We tried resetting the PRAM and the MSC on the Mac. (in that order)

    The Mac Pro, remote desktop, we can, so we know that it still works fine. On the top menu, if you try to see what it displays is using, we see a greyed out "connected projector: unknown display. We don't have a projector.

    He played in our Apple TV. But we would like it to appear on a normal screen.

    Any suggestions?

    I'm having a similar problem. OS X update 10.11.6 (1004 15) using a Mac Pro (early 2009). Immediately, I learned the web (346.03.15f02) nvidia driver was not compatible and graphics driver sound using the default OS X. I had no idea of this update was this new, otherwise I would not have done. This machine is already quite bland. Take a screenshot does not work properly, so I had to take a picture outside. Background images are the exact same as well.

    The monitors are HP L1906 (left) and DELL P2212H (right). LED Cinema Display Monitor works fine. Now that I'm at work, TI guys have no idea. I think it's the nvidia driver which needs it, but I don't know how long it will be. Think to roll, return to 10.11.5 but not 100% sure if this would be the best option. I work as a video editor and the colors being off is a huge problem.

    Any suggestions?

  • Wireless connects, but internet does not work

    My wifi signal is strong. My computer says that it is connected. Diagnosis shows the signal is stable, but when I open a browser, it does not connect. It just seems to take forever, but nothing ever happens in Safari. Chrome has said, "there no internet connection. Your computer is offline. "and that Firefox says: 'server not found '.

    I tried the Ethernet connection, but it's the same story. Computer indicates recognition signal, but it will never truly connect. It will connect in Safe Mode, however.

    I don't know if this is related, but iTunes does not work either. I open and just get the reel spinning forever. It is said he is unresponsive, and I force quit.

    Here is some information that might be useful:

    -iPhones and MacBook in the House are fine to connect to Internet.

    -My internet company just came and installed a new router/modem. We had a few problems before (this is why they came to reinstall the hardware), so I don't know if this has something to do with him or not.

  • Bluetooth/Hotspot tethering without cable does not work

    Hello world

    We have a weird put in place where Bluetooth does not (entirely).

    iPhone is last 9.3.3

    OSX is 10.11.4

    Setting up Personal Hotspot on the iPhone and then connecting via Wi - Fi laptop does not work. Error message "Unable to connect" standard and suggestion of using Wi - Fi diagnostics (also does not help).

    Go to Bluetooth prefs on OSX and the connection it does not work. Matching does not work, but we CAN see the iPhone. The WiFi scanner captures also the iPhone.

    If connect us the iPhone via the cable and then put in place a personal Hotspot, it does not.

    Surfing on the web, everything works. Disconnect the cable, and it stops again.

    I succeeded in pairing my iPhone to the laptop, so it seems apparent to another iPhone. I'm leaving work via cable uses a direct route via the cable which is a different connection method than live bluetooth signal?

    We have removed the Bluetooth of OSX preferences > no change.

    Reset us the iOS network settings > no change.

    Any ideas?

  • A WI - FI connection does not work on Satellite C50-A-179

    Hi all!

    I am owner of laptop Toshiba Satellite A-C50-179 (PSCGAE) with Windows 8, and recently I tried to install Connectify on it.

    However, Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter was missing on the laptop and given this Connectify couldn't work. I tried to activate/install somehow using advice found on the internet. The suggestion was to reinstall the driver for the wireless adapter.

    I uninstalled the driver original and reinstalled again after you download from Toshiba Web site ([here | http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 312 & selProduct = 7934 & selSh ortMod = 3969 & language = 13 & selOS = 40 & selType = 97 & yearup load = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = al lMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = 97 & page = 1 & ID = 86778 & DISO = 40 & driverLanguage = 42])

    I'm sure that I downloaded and installed the right driver for the right card that is "Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter". I made prior to installation to verify all the information on the adapter and the driver.

    However, after the relocation wifi stopped working completely:

    -l' icon/network adapter wireless connection 'Control of the network connections and Internet\Network' is there but it does not behave as it should, it looks like a generic and not specific to a network connection icon - basically, it does not represent the actual adapter and got the name of it in the note;

    WiFi - option in Windows 8 settings menu-changes PC network settings has completely disappeared (bluetooth option is still there and so is the flight mode option);

    -wifi can be turned on by pressing on activate in the menu of RIGH click that generic network connection I mentioned, but it will not pick up any signal and will find all the same connections so it is certainly.

    There is no yellow exclamation point in Device Manager list and the wireless adapter is thus, to act and to pretend as if everything is fine and working properly.

    I tried troubleshooting, installing the driver using Windows Update, the installation and update of its properties menu driver in Device Manager and all kinds of things like that, but none of this has helped and wifi still doesn't work.

    Basically, the laptop seems to think that the adapter is not working properly and everything is fine HW and SW wise, but in reality it is not. I don't really know what I should try, I don't want to reinstall the entire operating system, because I'm afraid (or I) would mess everything up even more (wasting yet more pilots).

    I'm running on a cable internet connection now, and I'm happy it's working (I really need the laptop for work and I can't afford to lose for a day, not to mention some more)

    Could someone help me please?
    Any ideas how to solve this problem and make the wifi working again?
    I will be really grateful for any advice.

    Thank you, Miko31.

    Problem is that Toshiba does not support the third party software and if the problem occurred after installing Connectify you should contact support and ask for help. I mean they know how their software works and perhaps a workaround solution that can help you.

    This software is not known to me, but I can imagine there are now a few conflicts. What should do? It is not easy to say. Try to remove the preinstalled software and clean the registry entries.

    In the worst case, you must reinstall OS and reuse for laptop with factory settings.

    Hello

    To be honest I n don't know 100% what your problem is.
    If you want to watch DVD movies on your computer with the help of a reader DVD Toshiba but the captain must be indicated on the external screen follow these steps:

    When you have connected the HDMI cable (other) outside on the screen, use FN + F5 and switch to the external display only. When you see the desktop on the beginning of the display external Toshiba DVD player and I think that everything should be OK.

  • RALink RT5390 wireless adapter does not work

    My g6 pavilion laptop wifi adapter was not properly work recently. my internet router and networking are works well as it should, but whenever I restart my laptop, repeat me that there is no link and no other wifi networks when there are clearly other networks because of my neighbors.

    I tried a system restore to solve the problem, but it has no effect and my norton affects the restoration of the system to disable the antivirus.

    I'm stuck on ideas to solve this problem and I don't know much about networking and internet stuff, so I'm pretty powerless here

    Here is a link to my features of laptops if necessary:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03136241

    These ralink adapters are simple ol ' sh * t. I don't know if it will be a complete solution for you, but I was pulling with my network card for months and this has proved to be the most effective for my computer. I have a HP Envy luck to be equipped with a Ralink RT3290, Windows 8.

    so...

    Out of the box, my computer was working fine and it connected to the network OK. As soon as I moved further away from the router, I known constant dropouts, and the connection always folds between the low signal strength, to completely disconnect the router, where I had to re - connect manually there. This question really frustrating. I use my computer on the top level of my house, and the router is in the basement. If I was getting sick of this fast. Update driver after update driver, no luck. After trying everything under the Sun, I decided I would bite the bullet and I tried something a little bit Orthodox...

    I just uninstalled the driver for my computer. Yes, really. When a component on your computer a driver is stripped, Windows software has a few drivers that will install by default for your material so that it can remain functional on your computer. So, once remove the driver ralink on my computer, windows installed sound driver by default for my network card and... Voila! My connection problems are virtually non-existent at this point. The material is not always the best, but at least I can surf the net in my room without my connection affected by constant stalling.

    Now, other that the light on the button stuck wireless with an orange glow and list my NIC as #10 Device Manager, I always use this driver with minimum questions. Occasionally, he'll forget the connection once I wake the laptop from sleep, but this issue has been much worse with the ralink drivers than without.

    If you are aware of the risk (what is low, to be realistic, this can always be undone and you can always reinstall drivers ralink so that deosn proved to be an effective solution), I will explain in detail how I managed to do.

    (1) open Device Manager (right click the lower left corner in windows 8 and a shortcut appears in the drop-down below)

    (2) find network adapters and display its contents

    (3) make a right click on your wireless network adapter (should be something similar to "Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n... ") and click on"Uninstall"in the menu drop-down

    (4) a popup should appear and you should be given the possibility to uninstall or cancel it. Make sure you check "suppression software driver for this device" until you go forward, or Windows re - install the ralink driver.

    -Search for new hardware if your network card is not detected after you have uninstalled it. Your card should appear as "802.11n Wireless LAN card"

    -If you have an installer driver ralink that is newer or equal to the driver that is already installed, you can run the Setup program to remove any driver software remains which is usually overlooked by the device during the uninstallation Manager there from your computer

    -As an option, you can check potential driver leftover files C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. It is important to search for remains that Device Manager / ralink Installer may have missed because it can potentially conflict with the replacement of windows WLAN driver. pilots should have a short name for your adapter (e.g. rt3298.sys); they shouldn't be hard to find. Be careful as well; IT IS WISE TO ALWAYS SAVE no matter WHAT DRIVER SOFTWARE, YOU CAN REMOVE in CASE YOU MAKE a MISTAKE.

    (5) re - enter your information network and you should be good to go!

    I hope that it is of no help to you. People who know nothing about what they will tell you to install the latest driver and yatta yatta yatta this way, because it does not work I had to take the liberty to try to find a solution for these adapters cursed myself. I hope this helps a bit your question!

  • HDR5010KB-digital recorder - signal does not always come through the use of HDMI

    Hello

    I bought the product above in October. Since then, I have had intermittent problems. When switching on the channel AV on my TV (a Panasonic TX-P42S20B) signal is not always crossed when you use the HDMI channel (I also connected via a SCART, and who works so always seems to be a problem HDMI.) It is particularly obvious when the recorder has been used for a while (be it for recording or playback.) It is not overheating (or if this is the case, not to the degree I get a warning message) and turn off the power to the electric network seems to correct the problem, but it's a pain.

    I tried to change the hdmi cable, as well as to try different channels AV on my TV and it did not help. Is this a common problem or make me a defective unit?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated

    Have you noticed the same problem using other devices connected to your TV (using the same cable)?

  • TV out button does not work on my Satellite Pro M30

    Hello

    I installed Windows XP SP2 and all drivers for M30 but the "TV out" button does not work although I have also installed the tool "Controls Button from Toshiba" (continues to ask to be assigned to a program), it worked before installing the new.

    I also noticed that the "Fn + F5" also does not work too (eg. do not send the signal to the TV).

    Can anyone help?, thanks in advance.

    Hi Karim

    Write about you? :)

    In any case, try to install TOSHIBA common Modules again. Maybe it helps!
