  The character you are evidence is a single quotation mark or tick rather than a comma, but the character you see in reality is probably an asterisk in a mask the password text box. In both cases, the problem remains the same.

  The best suggestion is to get the correct settings from your provider. They move to the top of their servers. They know the settings that work.

  Note that your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time you start Firefox.

  The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

  Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

  Sorry, but if you start automatically to the top in private browsing mode, this is a bug that has been tracked and should be corrected in the next version of Firefox. More information: themes, not more function from auto update to firefox 20.

  If downloads are gone, it is possible that Windows deletes the downloads based on security policies defined in Internet Explorer. I realize realize that sounds strange, but it is related to the functionality of Firefox to submit downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.

  To test this theory, you can try to disable the scan function. I assume you have good "real-time" antivirus protection that checks all the files saved on your hard drive.   McAfee is a huge problem with Windows Mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 if you want to use, wait until you get the job of Winmail.

  Check if you can connect webmail and that works very well and it's not a problem on the end of the server messaging or because of misspelled powers.  Then delete your account in WinMail, compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and make sure that you have disabled the e-mail analysis then add your account to mail back again and see if it works.
