Firefox crashes at startup, even in safe mode
Firefox has just started to crash at startup, even in safe mode.
I also tried to create a new profile (which Firefox let me do), but it crashed as soon as I tried to use the new profile.
The only way I could get it to start is putting him to work offline, which is obviously not very useful.
Here are a few crash IDs:

BP-e2667a62-9301-414C-894e-bd5fc2151011

The last ID is for is the first crash I got, which didn't happen at startup.
Thanks for the tips. I still don't know what was wrong, but a restart of the computer has set.

[SOLVED] Firefox crashes at startup (even in Safe Mode)
Firefox crashes at startup. I tried all the steps described in the articles of crashes of Firefox, but I can't understand what is wrong.
EDIT 06/06/2012:
I solved the problem by following the advice of cor - el to create a new profile:
firefox -no-remote ProfileManager
@cor-el: Sorry, I just create a new profile to help
firefox -no-remote ProfileManager
and it actually fixed startup crash.
Thank you very much for your time (you two).--

After a system restart through Firefox it seems to act strangely, it crashes as soon as I open it. Tab says 'connection '.... ", but he has finally just stops responding.
Safe mode does not either, but private browsing is correct (which of course I would rather not use mainly).
I had a few tabs open and I suspect one of them could be a pain for the restoration of session to open it, so I thought I would try to hang on the sessionstore.js but unfortunately I apparently do not have a.
I tried to activate the function "ask before restoring tabs" but that did not help either.
You can try to set Firefox to open a blank page on startup and see if that fixes the problem. Go to tools-> Options, general tab and the value "when Firefox starts:" to "show a blank page".
You can always switch back to "show my windows and tabs from last time" once the crash is resolved.
If it turns out that a specific page was the cause of the crash, and you're ready to share the URL, please report it here. Thank you!

but no go.
updated my video driver... still no go
It starts in SafeMode... so I tried to disable all extensions and plugins. still firefox 4 a few crashes when it starts.
It would be nice. If .firefox crashed .it would just tell you why...If I missed something .hope can someone help...
Thank youPS
I love firfox 3.6... But why would you put in the trash like that. It does not start even upward.
are you trying to look like Internet Explorer.
Crash... crash... accident...reinstalled 3.6 and collapsed the automatic updating for now. bold text
Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4, and disables hardware acceleration.
- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.
If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

There will be a fix for Firefox 8 crash at startup, even in safe mode?
I always use Win XP. Yesterday, when I was invited in FF7 to upgrade to FF8, I did. Now I can not access FF at all, because it crashes at the start even in safe mode (when I click on the logo of FF & hold down the SHIFT key). There will be a solution for this? Or I have to go back to FF7, which crashed only periodically? If I need to go back, where can I access a download? I am providing the accident four last ID, starting with the most recent. I can provide more if necessary.
using roboform? If so check if you have not the version 7.6.2 or later?
Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

I tried all the solutions on other items. I uninstalled, including profile information, then deleted all the files of Mozilla, rebooted, then re-installed and got exactly the same problem.
I am running Vista 64 and the latest Firefox.
I have run different virus scans and tried to uninstall all the Flash stuff.
IE and Chrome, that both work, but really slow compared to how fast Firefox ran (although it worked), so I would like to resume.I have no information of actual error, but what I do is below...

I have a windows 64-bit computer that is running Windows 7. In recent months, Firefox has been crashing on opening - opening occasionally on the profile of my husband, but not mine. I now use IE9 running as administrator but would prefer to use Firefox.
I can't adjust the settings, plugins etc that I can't open the program at all. After the first attempt, I go to the Task Manager and stop firefox.exe. Then when my next attempt to open I get the error again. I sent off the coast many reports of incidents at Mozilla.

AustraliaHello
I found my profile.ini for Firefox file by using the information in your message *http://kb.mozillazine.org/profiles.ini_file. There were 2 profiles in the ini file, so I deleted one and kept the other one who had the same name as the folder profile and saved the ini file. Bingo-test - Firefox works! I think the graphics card driver update helped also that IE works properly now as well. Thanks for your help.
