Firefox is not recognize my drive flash version 15.0
Hello. Today I got in trouble with Firefox is slow and crash/freeze whenever I played a Facebook game. He told me to download the flash update I did about 6 times today. He still does not recognize that I have. I looked in my control panel in Flash and I can't see what follows: version Active X 15.0.0.0.152 NPAPI plug in version 15.0.0.152. Record PPAPI version is not installed. (I looked that up and it seems that this is not for my Windows XP. The flash drive, I installed was 15X32_mssd_aaa_aih (i) .exe. This is the manual I have asked me to download on support.mozilla.org... then he gave me a specific plug-in. Even though I knew I got it, I tried to download the plugin. It happens to 66% full download and application in use error (because I already have) and it automatically opens the window of IE to try again. I know very well that I have the most updated version. For some reason any Firefox just don't recognize it. I restarted my computer. Earlier, I have reset Firefox and regave permissions on my plug ins. I had honestly never one fix, I can do. Help please. I'll lose my religion if it even worse me! Thanks to you all. Oh and as you can see there, it's say I have Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.0.5.146, which is not true. My Control Panel, Flash section disagrees and says that I have 15.0.0.152.
Lisa, I'm sorry that I can't find a download link for the old version of Flash Plugin 10.3 that I use, but I can't find it on the Adobe Web site.
Adobe Shockwave Player 12.1 is not the same thing as Adobe Flash Player Plugin, which is also known as the Shockwave Flash.
There is also a named Shockwave for the Director which is something else again.
And with different versions of Flash Player for - IE = ActiveX, Firefox = Plugin and Chrome = pepper, they couldn't do worse if they planned to confuse the average user, because they were able to do so inadvertently.
I curse Macromedia (which was acquired by Adobe) to use the name "Shockwave" on both of their programs.

35.0.1 Firefox does not recognize that the last flash is installed
There was a series of updates to flash, and I kept with them as helped my package manager. However, firefox is not recognize later as the last.
topic: plugins, shows that the version is 11.2.202.425
My Package Manager shows that the version is 11.2.202.440Firefox and my package manager agree on the way to the .so file. Actually, I copied the path to the file so on firefox and checked in the terminal and it is the version of the right package AND chains told me that the incorporated itself into the .so version string is the most recent. Yet, somehow, firefox really, really think it is version.425 instead de.440.
I restarted firefox. I even rebooted, even if it should not be necessary.
Currently, this version of Flash has been marked as vulnerable:
Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.440 and earlier for LinuxIt's weird that package and everything: plugins page is different however.
This also occurs when you update to the latest: [11.2.202.442]

Win 7 Backup and Restore does not recognize the USB flash drives for a backup image or a recovery disc. Last update of Firefox do not recognize Flash drive
I restarted my computer this morning, as he ran a little slugglish. Restarting launched as well an update of Firefox and a Flash update to newer versions. I uninstalled Flash several times with the Flash uninstaller. I even brought back to 10.3. Same result. Firefox is not simply recognizing the installation and I am unable to view Flash content. On any page that requires it, the "Install missing Plugin" button appears. Whether 10.3 or the last 11.4, there does not exist in the Add-ons Manager. I installed the latest real Player as well, in which case it had something to do with the question. No apparent connection. No problems with the facilities themselves don't have been experienced - everything going as planned.
Any ideas?
any help when you manually copy the contents of the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Macromed\Flash folder in C:\Program Files\Mozilla plugins?

The new version of Adobe Flash works in Safari. Apple thought that the old version of Adobe Flash had compromised safety, so Mac users can no longer use the old versions of Adobe Flash. A few settings in Firefox are not letting the update to the latest version of Adobe Flash work.

Install XP does not recognize my drive as full version
Hello. I tried to do a clean install of XP Pro (academic version) with new partitions. I did this several times. Unfortunately, this time, I interrupted the process of partitioning. When I tried to reboot, the installation program now says he "cannot find a previous version of windows installed and needs to check that I have rights to use this upgrade product." I have the full version but for some configuration reason does not recognize.
I tried to rebuild the MBR via the recovery console. BOOTCFG/SCAN reports failed to analyze successfully. A ran CHKDSK/P/R. no errors. Ran FIXMBR: reports new MBR written correctly.
No success during subsequent attempts to reinstall xp pro. I'm trying to reinstall on a laptop HP zd7030us.
Thanks for any help provided!

Hi Martinez:
In fact, I did exactly as you suggested. But I've since found the answer: my XP Pro CDIS updated although indicating there is nothing on the CD itself. In fact, when I bought it, my intention was to purchase the full product since I received the student discount. How I ended up with a upgrade version is unknown. Grrr! And all this time I thought that to do a "clean install" with repartitioning the disks required to version complete. Apparently not. When I interrupted the process of partitioning I erased everything that said that there had already been a legitimate copy of XP on the PC.
How do I know this? I took a glance at the PID found in I386\setupp.ini on the installation CD. My PID is 55276000, which indicates a version upgrade. (For those of you who want to understand what the code means do a search on 'xp product id list'. NOTE: This is NOT the product key that you enter during installation.)
Anyway, there is my answer. So what I'll do? Pull on an old Win98 drive, install it and then upgrade from there.
Thanks again,
RonK65

I've updated (more than once) to Firefox Version 8.01. When I check the Firefox Help: About, it confirms the version number and indicates that it is the current version. Google, however, when I try to use G-Mail or + Google, gives me a message that my version of Firefox is no longer supported (and provides a link to download the current version). In addition, Firefox itself, when I tried to use the help: menu option to submit your comments, indicates that I can't use this option until I first updated to the current version. Apparently, even though I've updated, there are some markers or indicator, which is not updated since a previous version to indicate which version of this browser Web sites is running on my computer. I would like to get this resolved, because it prevents me from doing a few things I want to do. Furthermore, I just watched the dialog below, following the comment "we have made some assumptions about your current browser...". ', also indicates that my current version is the 3.5.7.
