Firefox is not rendered transparent PNG correctly

I have a web page that offers a PNG with transparency, but Firefox doesn't make properly - it's a little blurry and pixel-y. Both chrome and Opera have made the fine PNG. (It's all in Ubuntu Maverick).

The image is available at http://mathsci.kaist.ac.kr/~drake/img/poorly-rendered-image.png; , it seems fine in itself, but the background of the web page with this picture is not white, it is (as far as I can tell) #ccc.

I'm surprised that Chrome and Opera do it properly, but Firefox doesn't. What is going on?

You can post a link to the page with this picture?

If I apply a background color (body {background-color: #ccc}) in this image, then this it works for me.

So I guess that something is wrong with the code.

  • BONES of Firefox does not appear correctly. It seems that the CSS and JS are not rendered. Any help would be most appreciated!

I would have preferred someone show a screenshot of the web pages, but it is not a file attach on this forum. In any case, with only Firefox OS, not my other browsers, web pages didn't properly. For example on Facebook, there is no header or footer. JS is enabled in the browser, and like I said Chrome and Safari are NOT having problems. I'm surmising that the CSS and JS files are somehow not displayed. I can be very wrong, but I would accept with gratitude any help anyone has to offer. Thank you and have a great day!

Firefox not rendering or display the graphics properly.
When a page loads first, fine, but if you click on a few buttons, then the back button to return to the page of the image is cut in half, or lack of parts of it, on the page what happens, if I delete the page history and refresh, all goes well, once again, I also worked on a web page that does the same thing on the server or locally, I haven't tried any cache, refresh on the page load, ran Firefox in safe mode, my friend has Firefox also and he got the same results, Internet explore, no problem, no problem of Chrome, I need to solve this problem with Web page, I'm working on the side of the code so that everyone doesn't have this problem.

  • Firefox 17, text on screen is not be re-written correctly when erasing the background is necessary, highlighting the text may update and correct the problem

I had to downgrade to Firefox version 16.02 to solve this problem.

Since Firefox version 17 out there is a problem with the screen fonts not being re-written correctly when a background clear condition occurs in Windows is caused by an overlap of another application window or scrolling the active window in firefox.

If the text is highlighted using the right button of the mouse and then the text is correctly updated, just scroll up and down does not solve the problem.

Other versions of Firefox did not have his problem

  • Firefox does not save the proxy settings correctly

I run Firefox 7.0.1 on Windows XP SP3 machine and I am behind a proxy server. We use a proxy script to my usual workingplace. However, on a trip, I have to choose a specific proxy servers IP address. After returning to my Office I change in the script. However, the next day, the settings are back to the IP address again, which means, FF does not save my settings correctly.

  • Firefox does not correctly close preventing a second time without a restart of opening

Firefox opens ok the first time I connect, but if I close Firefox it will not open again unless I restart the laptop. I can see a part of the flicking cursor "wait" and sometimes I get a message "firefox was closed" even when I do not have it open. Also sometimes a small window in the center of the screen that contains a white entry bar, and a narrow red top arrow to the right. It seems that firefox will not completely close and a background Member he prevents re-opening. I followed the suggestions help without success.

It is usually a Firefox extension software or security that prevents from correctly closing Firefox. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs#Hang_at_exit and Firefox crashes or does not - how to fix .

As a first step, try extensions, themes, and issues of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems .

  • PS CC: Does not export as PNG fully transparent

Why Photoshop CC will not export PNG as transparent. It keeps adding color to my drop shadows and transparent images, no matter what I do. Even the intro to photoshop Panel is displayed with a color that surrounds the Reiver transparency box to open photoshop. I already uninstalled and reinstalled.

Here are some examples of how they compare from Photoshop to the exported version. I save as PNG-24 and now no matter what I do, photoshop won't export my transparent images properly. I can not find anywhere with the same problem, so I don't know how to solve this problem.

  • Live View not rendered Page correctly

Can someone explain why the LIVE view in DW5.5 would not display the page correctly?  I have a site I developed, and when I see her in all browsers... FF, IE, Opera, Safari, etc., there is no error and the page renders correctly.  However, when I find a page in the Live view, my page footer section (which is done by a server-side include) makes skewed far right.  It must have something to do with the SSI, because I have other SSI on the page and they are very good. It is just only one (the footer).

As I said, the site renders perfectly in all browsers, but not in Design mode.  I'm DW5.5 evaluation for use using the trial period, then perhaps there is a feature that is turned off?  The code for the site is a little too much to put here, but right now I'm looking for reasons that there is such a radical difference.

    Thank you.

    Fixed.

Need to add a div with a clear just before the footer and just after.  This makes the page correctly.

  • Firefox will not allow a site to work correctly, but IE only

I use www.teambeachbody.com for my training and my business. Firefox will not have menus to appear, and I can't click on the buttons for navigation; However, Internet Explorer * will *. I HATE the Explorer because it runs very slowly, but I don't have a choice at this point. No idea why this is happening or how to fix it?

    Start with some basic troubleshooting.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
