Firewall Windows turning off on its own

The last two times I turned on my computer, I got a warning that the windows firewall is disabled.  I had my computer for more than a year, and this issue just started to happen.  It is a Dell laptop running windows 7 with Avira Internet Security installed.  Why is that happening and how can I solve this problem?

Try this procedure:--

(1) right click on my computer if you use one admin
(2) select Manage
(3) then click on Device Manager
(4) then go to the menu bar click on 'View' and then click on view devices
(5) then go to the menu bar and click on 'View', then select 'connection device.
(6) then scroll last and search for "windows firewall authorization driver."
(7) right click on it and select 'Properties', then click on the driver tab
(8) see if stopped status click on the Start button and then also select type automatic
(9) if the State is started, then click on the drop-down Type menu and select Auto
Reboot your system.

    Try this.

Remove the SD and SIM cards > fix the phone with PCC > make sure you delete all > when you repair the phone > trying to use the phone without SIM and SD card for an hour or two > report.

  • Laptop gets hot, is slow on FB games and sometimes just turned off on its own

I have the HP dv7-1245dx vista. Its almost 2 years. It gets very hot after a while. I deleted all my temporary internet files on a regular basis, but it doesn't seem to help on Face Book games. Runs really slowly on those. Lately he just seemed to be able to while I'm in the middle of something. I wait that he freshen up and restart. I propped it upward, so it's not sitting flat on the table to cool better. Any suggestions?

  • Windows Defender goes off on its own constantly

I still find Windows defender disabled. Whenever I open it, I get a window saqying it's off. Any ideas? Shouldn't it always be running?

    Hello

Are you running MSE or other antivirus/security programs stop Windows Defender running?
Whether Windows Defender is blocked from running by them. McAfee, AVG and many others to do this.
MSE includes features of Windows Defender inside run that separately it would be redundant.

  • Firewall XP turns off

    My firewall is disabled

    Hi HalJohnson,

-Have you installed any third-party antivirus on your computer application?

Method 1: One-third of security software (antivirus application) will have their own firewall. This can turn off Windows Firewall.

Therefore, if you have installed a third-party security software, disable the same thing at the moment and see if the problem still occurs.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. Have a computer without any security software can cause a potential danger to your computer. The firewall can keep the computer worm, pirates, etc.. So, be sure to activate security/firewall software once you are finished with the test.

Method 2: Scan your computer for virus or malware with any antivirus application.

If you do not use any antivirus application, use the Microsoft Safety Scanner to do the same thing.

  • The part of the address of the message writing window TB can cause its own adjustable frame in size as in previous versions of TB?

In older versions of TB the part of the address of the message entry window had its own adjustable chassis. It was useful that you could develop the image to see all addresses at a time and avoid errors of sending emails to the wrong people, especially when you reply to all and to remove some addresses for example answering users in the company, excluding visitors to learn sensitive information.

In the recent release you can only see three lines of e-mail addresses and use the scroll bar to see the rest of them, but you may miss the addresses during scrolling up/down. He needs more time to verify that the necessary addresses are there and it is not effective at all.

Can someone restore the setting of the address in the window of writing? Is there a plan to change this in future versions?

Please note that I use Thunderbird on Windows XP platform

Yes! Just below the slider bar formatting changes and you can increase the size of the email address area to see more addresses.

However, I liked the old style better which was more intuitive. Anyway, there is a way to do the job.

    Thank you very much!

  • Windows 7 stops on its own without warning

My pc running windows 7 Home premium keeps stopping on its own without warning - I checked and its not overheating there are a lot of ventilation. I was told that it may be registry settings but don't see why I should pay for a reg cleaner because I do not know if it will solve this problem

A Reg cleaner will cause more problems than it will fix. If the PC stops while using it, then see the test below tools. If it stops while his idle then you will need to check and change your power plan.

First try running Memtest86 +, that runs from a floppy disk or CD and should eliminate or
confirm whether your one or more of your sticks of memory are bad or the values of the SPD in the BIOS are correct.
Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours, so no errors at that time then your ram is OK.

  • I stop using the computer for a few minutes. Then the screen of the computer turns off. Its does not sleep I need to turn off the computer then put into market and re - turn on the computer.

If I have not used the computer for a few minutes then the screen of the computer turns off. The computer is not sleep. I tried to use the space bar to wake him but he won't answer.  I have to turn off the computer. Then turn on the computer. This has happened for 2 months. I have a Dell DM051, 446 GB HDD with 329 free GB, 2 GB RAM, Intel (r) Pentium (r) CPU 2.80 GHz, ASUS A7 Series 240 and Windows 8 Pro graphics. I replaced the graphics card because I thought that this could be the problem, but it wasn't. I need to replace to fix this? Thanks for your help.

You have disabled things like Hibernate and hybrid sleep, etc. on the power options screen in Windows?

Have you checked the USB settings in the Device Manager? Search tab power management for each listed root USB hub and uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device...". »

And do the same for entries under Human Interface Devices (HID) device as Manager.

    Then restart...
