Laptop gets hot, is slow on FB games and sometimes just turned off on its own
I have the HP dv7-1245dx vista. Its almost 2 years. It gets very hot after a while. I deleted all my temporary internet files on a regular basis, but it doesn't seem to help on Face Book games. Runs really slowly on those. Lately he just seemed to be able to while I'm in the middle of something. I wait that he freshen up and restart. I propped it upward, so it's not sitting flat on the table to cool better. Any suggestions?
Thanks - Kim

When computer for a while and plug in flash drive usb does not recognize the drive, the computer slows down, does not turn off. Even with all the flash drives I have, ok when computer on just. I tried all the solutions online, nothing helps.
Looks like you might have some performance issues with the computer rather that readers flash... but first of all, I would like to try to take the flash drives to a friends and ensure that they are working very well... If they are I would look at the performance of the computer and health controls. Heres a guide to improving the performance and general peacekeeping home

Just in case you need a "dfitto", I second what said Tommy. It's almost certainly a hardware problem, and overheating is more likely.

Hello
Click on the link below:
The fan runs constantly, the PC is running more slowly than expected and generates heat
Note:
We suggest that you should try to update the Bios.
The update of the Bios?
Download the latest update of the Bios for your model specific here.
Connect the power adapter to the netbook.
Disconnect from the Internet. Close all running programs. Disable anti-virus and firewall.
Double-click the Bios update exe file. It may take some time, so it is important to remain patient, not to interrupt the process. Allow the laptop to restart after applying the BIOS update.
Although this update is running are not:
- Turn off your laptop,
- Disconnect the power adapter,
- try to run any software or do anything on the laptop.
Note:
The Bios update process is always risky. You do this at your own risk.

My laptop Qosmio F50 works completely normally and would never shut down on its own.
But I try to play a game pes 2010 example or the need for speed, my laptop long closed.
It was good before, but after rebotting my computer this problem just recently started...
I have Nvidia Geforce, DirectX 10 and all recommended Requirments for the games but sometimes I start a game or after 2 or 3 housr game it would be completely Shut Down My computer and when I would turn on the computer, he would say that it was not Shut Down normally.Alhajji,
They suggested to do a factory restore, if a valid step to do. I know this isn't the most fun thing to do, but if you restore the system failing factory (clean install of the operating system). Then, run Windows update and update drivers. At this point, you can install a game and test. If the problem persists, it would look to be a possible hardware problem with the system.

Slow down with games and video on a Satellite P100-286
When to play games and watch the video of the computer really slow down. This does not happen immediately, but after a little while.
I check the Task Manager to see if anything else is running and the dwrm.exe has a heavy load of CPU, add to the use of the processor of the game and the two pocessors are struggling, as seen on the gadget processors. The games are unplayable and video very bad when this happens.
When none of those who are running, dwrm.exe is 02 CPU usage when either run dwrm.exe is 45 CPU.
Is this a Vista problem? If anyone can help, I would be grateful or should I call Toshiba?
Hello
can you describe the programs you have on your system? Maybe theres some program that looks at your other programs (perhaps an Antivirus or a private firewall or something else) and suck your platform performance.
A suggestion from me: try to uninstall some programs that you have installed and beware of what your machine.
So, I have to say that Vista needs a lot of resources, and there are so many people who is angry and frustrated of stand-alone and Vista, so I am too.
But let´s wait, because out of XP, it was the same thing with the first service pack they solve so many problems and triggered the performance of this system for anyone who can work now and is enjoying XP. -

If it's over-hreating, make sure that your machine is well ventilated and clean.
You may need a Tech to open your laptop to clean the inside.
You can buy cans of compressed air to clean it.

HP G72 laptop - Notebook just turn off
My laptop is just shut down on a constant and more frequent basis.
But I bought this laptop used, I only got it for about 3 weeks, but I prayed the previous owner/user was something wrong with her, he says no, days later the laptop off, but the battery was low, probably around 20%, I don't take much thoughtful and ignored.
Second week, same thing not much thought! From now on more frequent, back to back while I am participating to meetings in line and work! This can happen because my work is a must.
Someone help me please. I tried diagnostic and it says battery test failed. I also tried Hp Support Assistant, and it is said that the battery test the work stoppage.
What is it? Also the battery isn't down, at some point, it's 50%, 60? or 70% and stops just to the wide/power off!
Now, I've been on the laptop for 9 hours a day non-stop (required job) Please however note that can be my problem, read above, I only got 3 weeks before having to use it for 9 hours in a row this week, it stops.

I own a notebook computer MSi S6000 Windows 7 (64-bit). My problem is that any time that my laptop's sleep mode (when I close the lid or after inactivity) wireless connection is cut off the coast and in some cases the wireless card is cut. I end up turning on the wireless card with the
Function key F8 and then have to reconnect with my wireless network.
After "standby" mode, I have to reconnect to the wireless network (without turning on the map).
---
I have tried a number of measures to address this problem including uncheck the button 'turn off this device to save power' in the properties and made sure that my laptop ALWAYS connects to the network by making the #1 on the priority list and checking the connection to this network even when it is not being broadcast.
Yet I still couldn't remedy this solution.
Please help if you can. I appreciate your time in advance... happy new 2011!

Hello
It is usually a symptom of a faulty motherboard. Try to do a power drain follow these steps:
- Unplug the adapter sector and battery
- Press and hold the button for 30 seconds
- Reconnect everything and try to power on
If the problem persists, the motherboard should be replaced. You can contact Technical Support to check out-of-warranty replacement options.

Laptop gets hot...
I have HP G62 Notebook and when I play games, it's hot. I'm a fan, but it does nothing. Please someone help me...
When you say that the fan does nothing, do you mean it does not turn or is simply not able to keep the freshness of the machine? Make sure that your fan is free from dust inside the part of the radiator. Use a vacuum or air to push in the opposite direction of flow to remove any wall of dust that could accumulate over time. Notebooks and heat really hand in hand because they are trying to cram all the stuff has a desktop computer in a tiny space. I recommend that you get a laptop cooling pad and see if it makes a difference.
