First all, Windows has disappeared!

I am not a beginner in computer science (or first) so it's really confusing me! I went to open a project today in first CC 2015 and once the project is opened, there are no windows - nothing! No editing window, workspace, program source... etc. I can see the Premiere Pro toolbar in the bar at the top of the screen mac - all windows are supposed to be displayed, but there is nothing there. I restarted the program, the computer, unplugged my other views, changed screen resolutions, click on "Show all windows", you click "Hide the first pro" and then open it again. I can't get a single window! I also tried to look at my other mac window workspaces, tried to open different spaces of work first, tried to turn on and off individual windows. Nothing. Kind of I'm stuck here because I had to go back to 2014 CC just to continue to work on projects. Help!

(First CC 2015 - last updated October 1, 2015)

(Macbook Pro 2015 - Yosemite)

I think I've solved the problem. I have re-sync my creation with the cloud parameters. When the program has re-opened, the windows were back to normal.

    Hello

What Data Modeler version do you use?

    This problem just started happening?

Are there relevant error messages in your newspaper?  (You can see this by selecting external journal from the view menu >)

    Sometimes using several monitor screens?

If so, and you are not currently using the subsidiary monitor, it is possible that data Modeler tries to display the dialog box where it it displays the last time, and is therefore not visible.

If it is a possible cause, then replace the subsidiary monitor should help. Alternatively, you can move the new dialogue box on the main screen as follows:

    1. Select properties in the drop-down menu in an attempt to try to view the Properties dialog box

    2. tap Alt space (this opens the dropdown of the invisible dialog box).

3 M type (this selects the Move option in the drop-down below).

4 use the left or right arrow key to move the dialog box. (Once you've started it, you will find that you can use the mouse to position the dialog on the screen.)

  • Check Windows Update has disappeared

I disabled the box in Windows Update settingsso as to not give me updates for Microsoft products and not to check the new optional Microsoft software when I update Windows.

After that, the box has disappeared in the settings window, and I can't go back on my decision. I read somewhere that it could be corrected using the policy editor. I attemppted to do, but it did not work satisfactorily.

Is there an effective way to restore this box which has disappeared from the settings window?

I found that I could try to clear the history in Windows Update as follows:

Paste this command to search for Windows.

I did the above, after following the instructions of MowGreen wuauserv and bits.

The only thing I lost was the history of Windows Update.

    Hello

References for Vista also works on Windows 7.

Updates page is closely related to IE - look for something blocking.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

    Close and restart IE

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

  • Vista: All Windows updates suspended / "Module of Windows Installer has stopped working and Will Close."

On my installation of Vista, all windows updates no longer work.  If I try and run them from Windows Update in Control Panel one starts to run but then it just hangs.  At the same time, I get a message "Windows install Module has stopped working and closes".  If you look in the services, it is crushed, but restarts.  The update remains always hung.  It doesn't matter what update I try and run, I always get the same result.

When the computer is shut down, it also tries to automatically install updates.  These also hang on the first, which means that I have to force power off the computer.

Don't know if this is related, but I don't think that SP2 already installed - it kept if crush (don't remember what was the error message).  When I restart in safe mode it tells me that I'm still on SP1.  I followed all the suggestions on how to get SP2 installed for the error I received, but nothing has worked.

Do not really understand what I have really installed a lot of "_" on the PC, it is a "clean" installation (about 1 year now).

Any ideas?  Really, I don't want to have to do a re-install, but I suspect that is where I'm heading unfortunately.

    Hi AndrewInNZ,

Thanks for visiting the site of the community of Microsoft Windows!

I would like to ask you some questions for a better understanding of the issue:

    (a) did you try to temporarily disable the security software and check if updates are smooth?

    (b) you are using a firewall in addition in instead of the windows firewall? If so disable (temporarily) of the third party firewall and look for updates.
It is usually caused by a 3rd party firewall that it blocks the internal ports.

Check out WERCON for more information-

    1) Click START | wercon.exe type in the search box start and click on enter.

    (2) select "View problem history", under 'Windows identified problems' with the right button on a problem, and then select "view problem details. Click "Copy to Clipboard" export to text document

    Also reset the Firewall setting:

    1) Click START | type FirewallSettings.exe into the start search box | Click on FirewallSettings.exe above | Select the Advanced Settings tab. Click 'Restore Defaults ' | Click on apply (if Hi-lighted) | Click OK

Check the status of the service as well:

    Log in as administrator-

Start button | Control Panel | System and Maintenance | Administration tools

    Double-click on Services

(Provide the administrator password or a confirmation if prompted to do so.)

Right click on the 'Windows Modules Installer' service, and then select Properties.

Select the general tab - make sure that the startup type is manual

  • The desktop icons and taskbar disappear when windows has finished starting - any of the usual things help

I have a Windows XP Home Edition with a breath main card computer.  Replaced the Board, PS and other items.  Then re-activated windows and everything was fine.  Until the last moment, I rebooted after activating it.  I have the problem that I have seen posted in a bit.  When Windows has finished initializing all the desktop icons and task bar etc. disappear.  Nothing works.

I can bring up the Task Manager and manually run programs, etc.

Believe me when I say I spent reviewing EACH reference to this problem... Yes 5 days and counting... Tried them all.

I also tried a repair of windows in place which ends without any problem (twice)... but still no icons or taskbar.  I also ran several controls of virus, including one for the virus, which is usually the cause of this problem.  (fsnimda3.exe), I tried all the ideas in another thread (page 9) and many other institutions.  Before I did the reconstruction of the material I've cloned the original hard drive and have used the disc cloned juggling his original for the back.  Even tried to reinstall the old disk and do a comparison of sector by sector, in the case where my cloning process missed something.  In the 30 years I've been in the computer business I have never had a re - format a hard drive to solve a problem.  BUT I think it will break my record.

I'm doing this as a favor for a friend.  But at this point our friendship is really put to the test
