• Firefox uses https rather than http

  I had problems to connect to a site recently so I tried to use https instead of http and I got but only a text based page. Now I want to go back to using http, but Firefox uses https rather than http.

  I put browser.urlbar.autoFill.typed and browser.urlbar.autoFill to false, but it does still even after restarting Firefox. I deleted cookies, the tab of this site closed and restarted Firefox. He always does.

  One of the reasons why a "Strict-Transport-Security" header sent by your server (or an application on your server). Once Firefox stores this parameter specific to the site, you may be stuck with HTTPS forever. See this thread for an example: Firefix 25.0.1 forces SSL even when http:// is specified in the address bar.

  The function "to forget this site" will erase all the known places that Firefox can keep information on the site. This, of course, history and cookies, but also includes the permissions specific to the site and even favorite.

  If you want to try it, the option is available in two locations:

  • The library dialogue (history > view history). Right click on any entry to the site.
  • The subject: permissions page (type or paste on: permissions in the address bar and press enter). Choose the site from the list on the left and look for the button in the upper right.

  I have briefly spoken on BlackBerry Playbook workshop at LeWeb 10 with the presenter and thought I'd share it here as well.

  Most of the QNX components already exist in the 4.5 Flex / AIR SDK 2.5 framework (button, checkbox, list, StageWebView,...), but they exist in QNX specific packages so that they are "tactile."

  I believe that BlackBerry created a few new components "tactile" because the Flex Framework was not yet ready, but now with Flex 4.5, there these prepared components for mobile.

  Create BlackBerry applications using components from QNX records is easy, but if you really want to develop for multiple platforms, it would be preferable to use skins rather than new components. Skins such as the display of the box could be easily SDK BB so that there is no need to change all the 'new' instructions (or the need to create several plants) but simply to define it in a CSS or Flex theme. In this way the exact same application can be on Android and BB without having to redefine each instantiation.

  I hope the SDK already thought about this team and will provide these theme / Skins

  You can always insert any available unit, just add the unit if it is not the norm. For example write 5pt if you wand 5pt, even if the field displays mm or inches.

  Changing permanently would be possible through preferences, but not only for the single string.

  Hi cjohnm,

  You can use the 5 Lightroom Catalog and improve it in Lightroom 6, therefor all folders and collections will be identical in both version.

  Open the Lightroom all holding the key Alt/Opt and select only the 5 Lightroom Catalog and it will switch to it.

  You uncheck the preview pane? Why did you switch to a different identity?

  For lost messages, the two most common reasons for what you describe any disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished) or bloated folders. More about that below.

  Recovery methods:

  If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

  To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

  Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

  Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

  First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

  If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

  If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
   
  If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

  A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.   To avoid the problem of mutiple lines many joints, what is your approach to distill lines to return one row?

  Using custom views or fundamental records does not remove duplicate rows. First is first that the query must be intact with all possible joins properly. Basic steps is to build the query intact of all the joins and then create a display of the query, so views provide security by hiding the parts sensitive or irrelevant to the database, the Restrictions on updating the data using views by end users and many others.

  Generally, we prefer making it in a view.

  If no other lines in double, just hide the lines in the layout is the only good option there to end.

  It is a general question of IVI driver, although I am currently using c# with the supplied agesani driver by NOR.

  The IVI specifications provide many methods for configuration of devices (for example, ConfigureLevel, ConfigureAcquisition, etc.).  The IVI specification also requires that all drivers provide support for configuration of attributes through SetValue.

  Configurations, the question: can be done through SetValue, or is it necessary to use specific methods to "configure"?

  It is possible to set all the attributes in writing through SetAttribute functions, but this is not the recommended approach.  Configuration methods have been designed to set the related attributes in a logical manner.  Sometimes an attribute must be configured before other attributes.  The configuration functions should be considered.  If you use SetAttribute functions directly, you will probably have to learn more about how the instrument works and responds to commands.

  The interesting point is the following:

  People, I do not see anyone suggesting a feature that can help here. You don't really need to create files with these CFPDF tags * if you do not want.

  For example, as is the problem of Paule, if a tag is creating something that the other uses (as its result CFPDFFORM then flattened), you can use the NAME attribute (the destination) to indicate a variable to contain the output of a previous step and then use this variable in the SOURCE of a later stage.

  It's a tag, not an attribute.

  Chrome is a browser, not a search engine.

  My guess is that you want to replace the default search engine in Internet Explorer with Google search.

  If that's what you want to do, click on the gear in the top right of the window icon and select "Manage Add-ons."  In the window that opens, click on "search providers".

  If the only element of the list is Bing, click at the bottom left of the window to «Search again search engines»

  In the "Internet Explorer Gallery" window that opens, scroll down to "Google search" and click Add.  Click on 'Add' in the pop up window. You can close the window "Internet Explorer Gallery".

  Close window 'Manage Add-ons' and then click on the gear icon and open it again.  You should now see Google in the search providers list.

  Click on Google and then click on "Set as default."  Close window 'Manage Add-ons '.

• MultiCam 2 cameras more than a 4 GB clip by camera

  I'm new to this forum and for first pro after using final cut express for many years.

  I read several posts on this forum and other results of google search to determine the workflow for the following.

  I have video classic recitals with 2 identical cameras, where a piece of music can exceed 16 minutes/4 GB clip.

  This is my workflow to make multicam/2 angles with more of a 4 GB clip for each camera

  Import clips

  create master sequence

  create a sequence multicam for each camera (2 total)

  Change each multicam to determine what angles to use

  nest each sequence multicam

  nest of 4 GB file copy first in the main sequence

  nest of copy of the second file to 4 GB in a sequence master

  rendering all of the main sequence

  It seemed to work fine for me except that he was a fine bit of duplication of the first 4 gigabytes with start of second Go, I simply edited the overlap on.

  Is there a 'better' for this workflow?

  A slight modification of the workflow should solve the problem. Copy all media from SD card to hard drive, the complete folder structure and not just the bits "video". Then first, use MEDIA BROWSER to import your clips. If you have a 1 or a 2 hour video which is divided into a bunch of shorter pieces, Media Browser is smart and will import the peloton as ONE LONG CLIP for editing, no problem with the seams (Finally, there is no sewing with this method!).

• Using the scanner rather than generic software WIA support PES 9

  Updated PES 9 a couple of weeks. Already got PSE6.  With PSE6, with my Canon LiDE90 scanner, when I chose import on the file menu and import selected from a scanner, I gives me the option to use the WIA interface or software compatible WIA Canon Scan Gear which has more controls. With PSE9, the only option when I select the LiDE90 is to use the generic Windows WIA driver.

  I can, of course, to use the Canon scanner software apart from PSE9 and send the file to PSE9 for editing. That works very well, but what I don't like about the digitization of this way, is that a temporary file should be created by the scanner software which is saved immediately and then load that into PSE9.

  With PSE6 when to use Scan Canon material in PSE6, the scanned image has been loaded in PSE 6 as a new image without title. If I chose to delete the scanned image, that I edited rather than save the file, there is no temporary file has been saved on the disk at all. I much prefer this work sequence.

  SOOOO... How can I get the Canon Scan Gear software optionally via the PSE9 file - menu import? I tried to reinstall PSE9 and reloaded the scanning Canon driver, too. No luck so far. Why Adobe would have FEWER options with a software upgrade?

  Technical details: Toshiba laptop running Vista 32 bit with all updates.
