• First Pro, infinite processing (even for JPEG) and the program window is grayed out...

  Hi all

  I tried a lot of troubleshooting for the last day and can't get to the bottom of why this is happening. I posted a photo of what my screen looks like currently. Hoping someone here might be able to help!

  I am using first Pro CC 2015.0.2.

  Specifications of the PC:

  Interl Core i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz

  8 GB RAM

  GPU is possibly a Quadro 600 (our Department it lock the PC to the point that I can't look to the top of the record)

  As you can see that whatever it is in the media browser crashes just like treatment, even simple images I tried to import media, a quick 7 second .avi (MPEG4) video clip - it plays fine in vlc and other media players - and originally there was this orange with 'Media Meanwhile' manky window in several languages now I have a blank gray window much more refreshing. It's been sitting like this now since 09:00.

  Any ideas of how I can begin to tackle this problem?

  My Department will be anywhere from one week to four weeks until they actually move to me, so please have patience for my answers!

• First pro cs6 mac import failure prores and dnxhd says format unsupported or damaged

  Hi all

  I am running OSX Mavericks and have sequences video avchd import into my project.  He went all out.  I am an intermediary file and tried to prores and dnxhd formats.  When I created a new project and tried to import a format I get the above error.  In addition, when you try to read the prores file with quicktime it won't play.  I have a Windows virtual machine with an earlier version of the first pro that has the neat video.  I created the file dnxhd on it and was able to import the file into PP on mac and the processing of these int h.264 movies.  What do you think of the error not be able to import a format on my mac?  Could there be an error on the export into media encoder?

  It seems that I solved my problem and I wanted to post the resolution.  Apparently, the Avid codecs play nice with Quicktime on Mac and make Adobe QT32 Server crash.  Even if a file has been made, with server QT32 crashing it was unreadable.  The first thing I did was to delete all codecs in MacHD/library/Quicktime.  I restarted my computer.  Then I added the Apple codecs.  Voila, I can now encode to the Prores format.  I tried to add the dn only Avid codec, and I had the same problem.  I tried the version 2.3.7 and 2.3.9 without success.  Looks like I'm not 'be able to encode DNXHD files and read my existing will require adding the codec, export to the quicktime-no format and then delete for any future encoding prores codec.  If anyone has a solution to make the Avid DNXHD codec work please let me know.

  Recently I visited an AE CS6 file, but when I try to import in first pro only allows me to add to the timeline as audio, although I can see the full video (sound and Visual) perfectly in the project folder. The rendering of the ae file is a MPEG-4 h.264, AAC Codecs. Is the problem with AAC or a bug? I tried to open the sequence after the first early, but that did not help. He plays very well in a video outside the first.

Do you mean the video seems always wrong or sometimes the images are repeated and so the images seems wrong sometimes? Import the exported in first Pro CC images and place it on a corresponding timeline and use the arrow keys to move forward, frame by frame. Do you see repeated images? It is a bug in CS5 that causes repeated executives sometimes during the passage of 50 p to 25i or 60 p to 30i. That the issue should be fixed in 7.0.1 then make sure to update if you use 7.0.0. (Help > updates)

  In case you haven't noticed, my question is WHY.  I don't know why Premiere Pro can't do that.  What I understand at the moment, the only way to time remap audio in anyway shape using the software Adobe is Adobe After Effects, that my computer has no chance of ever being run through.  I know how to stretch a regular hearing and Premiere Pro audio, but apparently I can't time remap audio using these programs.

  So why can't Adobe Premiere Pro time-remapping audio with the video?  What is the reason that he can't?  It's a disappointment, huge and very impressive to see in the future.  If it is possible to time remap audio and video in After Effects, which is great and all, except for the fact that I can't use this program.  Why can't we do in Premiere Pro, and it will be always possible in Premiere Pro?
