  I want to keep still for the occasional DVD, but I would like to remove Premiere Pro 6.  If I run the uninstall program, it will delete even so.  Or can I just delete the various folders CS6?

  I ran the first Pro CS6 uninstall program and it gave me an option to remove one or both. I just selected Premiere Pro CS6 uninstall and kept still.

  I'm working on a project and the program monitor keeps going black in first Pro CC while I'm working on the script. I got like 28 GB of memory granted to the program and update the latest version of the driver for my graphics card. No idea why this continues to happen, but the only way I can get around it is to reboot. When I go to close the program hangs and I have to stop it in system preferences.

  We have not seen a response from you because you have created this thread. Please let us know if you have solved the problem completely. For others on this thread, a few things were useful to solve the problem of 'black screen '.

  1. If your computer is underpowered and outdated (especially your CPU and GPU), he will expose the problem of 'black screen '. Consider upgrading your components or by switching to a newer computer.
  2. If your computer is newer and has components that are well within spec (core i7, 2 + GB VRAM for your GPU, etc) and you get the problem of 'black screen', it is likely to do with your GPU drivers or you have two GPUS and the Control Panel has the GPU badly activated for high quality graphics features. Control Panel for your GPU is probably pointing to the GPU to lower power of two.
     • Note that even if you have a considerably amplified GPU, it may be an old one that does not support drivers for a new version of OS X or Windows
  3. The GPU is problematic, in general. Choose file > project settings > general and set the converter to Mercury Playback Engine Software only
  4. Avoid the update to OS X 10.11

  Other workaround solutions include:

  1. Open the reference monitor: window > reference monitor
  2. Turn off the track (eyeball) power off, then on again. (Note: this may take a few tries)
  3. If you have already updated to OS X 10.11, OS X update to the current version
  4. Restore previous versions of video drivers video drivers
  5. Rolling back to a previous operating system
  6. Restoration of an earlier version of Premiere Pro

• My first Pro CS6 for Mac keeps constantly if crush and have me save copies of the project whenever it crashes. Why is this?

  Every time I started working on my latest project, my first pro starts to plant. I edited a video of the other day with no problems, but when I was working on a project on files that have been same native for Mac (.) MOV Quicktime files), the program kept crashing. I shoot a SL1 rebel with magic lantern installed, so I shoot with Raw Video, but this is the first time that I've ever known problems with the use of these types of files. I started creating the project off of an external hard drive and assumed that it was the problem (even if I had done this process before several times without any problems) and saved the project on my real computer. My version of OS X is 10.11.4 and I edit on a model of Macbook Air 13 inch 2014 with 4 GB of RAM, but as I've said many times: I have never had problems with the first like this before. I did at least 50 videos in the last 8 months no problem. That's why I wonder what goes wrong here. I should maybe just create a new project and start from scratch and see if it works, but it is still confusing me as to why he was constantly crashing like that. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

  I opened one of the older versions of projects and it works fine so far and no crashes in the last 3 hours of editing. I'm assuming it was just a bug or the project was corrupted or something at some point.

  As said in the help files and shown in the tutorials on this by Adobe... for skin files, go to the Design tab, click the drop-down arrow, and navigate to the folder where you keep your files Look. Select one, and it will be applied.

• Mac: RemoteUpdateManager first Pro

  This may be more appropriate posted on another forum, but since it is to get the update for Premiere Pro I write it here.

  RemoteUpdateManager option is used to provide updates of Adobe products for a while; However, we are unable to update Adobe Premier Pro. Normally, we use Apple Remote Desktop, but also are not successful with Terminal Server. For example, following Adobe updates June 2016 that several applications were developed to day but Premiere Pro will not update to version 2015.3. Simply, we get all applications are up to date.

  All applications have been installed via the exact same package and updates have worked in the past.

  We tried the following all nothing is Terminal.

  RemoteUpdateManager - action = install sudo

  also tried

  sudo RemoteUpdateManager - productVersions = body #10.3.0

  Suggestions or someone knows why the update command is not picking up the first Pro update?

  Thanks for the suggestion. I deleted the OPM.db by #2 suggestion in the KB. Made no difference. Out of curiosity, I installed the desktop application and it does not show the update as being available for the first, but still using the command RemoteUpdateManager, it does not install the update.

  The problem is I have several Labs who need update, and we generally do not install the desktop app and try to avoid to have to update manually.

  Discovered that if I create a new package with the updated version and install it, it installs it in addition to keep the old version.

  What a waste.

• First Pro crashes when importing

  I filed a bug report, a week or two ago, and I have been using all sorts of workarounds to keep the first CC of Pro and Adobe After Effects to work while I am waiting for a solution.  But the first Pro CC seems to be now in a rut.  After Effects works fine now, fingers crossed.
  I run the app and try to import a file and it crashes as soon as I select Import from the context menu.

  As someone suggested, I tried to import other menus and the result is the same

  I have recently installed Windows 10 against my will
  I've recently updated all my Adobe aps, (Premier Pro, After Effects, and many others)
  When I updated Adobe it all my caches mapped on my hard drive of the pc.  I've reconfigured the caches in my external hard drive
  All my work files are on my external hard drive

  Besides as someone suggested, I tried the automatic power off except (worked for a while)
  I also tried another suggestion of people use 'Alt Shift' when I run the first Pro to clear the cache and it seemed to help temporarily
  I tried to restart to see if Windows contribute to the problem, with no luck

  I also tried connecting cloud creative before launching Pro
  Right now I'm at a standstill, I can't do anything

  I've been using CC several years now so I am familiar with the issues, but this last question / problem started about a month, around the same time installed Windows 10

  05/08/2016 I think I knew what was going on / what was wrong.
  The latest incident dated 29/07/16 damaged my file, it became corrupted.  It's just frustrating to try to get it back.  PP could not find some of my files that I had imported and I couldn't fix it.
  I therefore decided to create a new project file and start over.  Now PP works again, therefore, the previous files must have been corrupted.  I also noticed that after I re-installed PP he put everything back to default so I had

  1) go to the preferences and uncheck the box for automatic backup
  2) go to preferences and uncheck fast Intel
  And finally to encompass all of the suggestions above I also restarted the PP by holding down the Shift/Alt key.  What I didn't know is when you start PP in this way, it clears the cache but it also resets the default values, so you guessed it, I had to

  (1) PP Sift/Alt pressed start

  2) go to preferences and uncheck the box for automatic backup

  3) go to preferences and uncheck fast Intel
  (4) then restart WITHOUT holding Shift /Alt, Caches have already been deleted in step 1
  Now I'm ready to start building my project once again file, so I decided to try a shortcut:
  I open the corrupted file and copy the timeline and pasted in my new project file: Walla!  I was back in business.  He re-created my old time line and felt that all the files that I had imported
  So I used a few times PP without any problem, but if I don't get an accident, I think I know how to keep it going, by following the steps I have described above.

  The format of the pixels in your image that you create in Photoshop must be square Pixels.

  One way to fix it first:

  Click the image on the timeline to select, will the Panel effects and whirlpool open the commands for the query by clicking on the triangle next to the name, then swirl open orders for scale. Uncheck the uniform scale and adjust the width of the scale in order to fill the frame.

• First Pro CC do not play videos smoothly for me

  My computer is

  MacBook Pro 15 "
  512 GB SSD
  16 GB of RAM
  2.5 Ghz quad core i7
  2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M

  So a laptop powerful enough, no reason for first pro to be trolling to me.
  My problem is that I am to change a video in 4 k of my phone. but my reading on screen is 1/8 quality. (I accelerated video in some parts of 1000%)
  But it plays very well, but that once he plays this part of the video which the rest begins to lag and I have to stop reading, the reading head 2 cut back and watch it again hoping that it keeps jumping on me once again.
  

  I thought that my Mac would be strong enough for this and first pro.

  It makes little sense to me that a mac with a powerful graphics card and CPU would do so-studded video. I have even more than the quality of this video 1/8.

  UPDATE: I found out what was causing my stuttering.
  I recently changed to Adobe CC and in the older package, it's the back button that made the entire timeline for playback.
  When I did that in it he walks back me to my point in. Yellow above the edited files were shake me too so I assumed that first made everything automatically. So typing 'make' in the help section led me to the rendering part.

• After effects CC accident leads to first Pro CC Crash

  Major panic goes here...

  I was in the middle of a montage using first Pro CC 2015 and has decided to use After Effects to stabilize a clip... Still fails to load (crashes on loading MediaCore) and this in turn freezes first.  I use the Task Manager to close the two apps, then try to run that Premiere Pro but keeps locks even begin to load the usual elements that tend to see ((ExporterAVI, etc.))

  Tried to uninstall first using cloud creative but that no longer works!  He insisted I had the first running, but it was not...  THAT makes wonder if this was the cause behind it does not quite...  In any case, I've used the cleanup tool to remove the first and am currently download first Pro CC of the Cloud...

  While I hope it will work, is there a history of this debacle over there among the other sick CC?

  I'm running a Windows PC with 10 because the OS...

• best way to work between after effects and first pro - for titration?

  Recently, I went to Vegas and get the long ok with Premiere Pro. But I'm now ventured into After Effects, in an attempt to import certain models of text.

  First of all, what is the best workflow for using patterns of text effects. I would first of all the video, rendering and import the video into Ae where I can fine tune titles?

  Or do I have to import, sort, the work that I do in Ae in my project of Pr?

  The problem I have are in both cases.

  When I visited the titles of EI, of high quality, the returned product has major flaws, suddenly white fuzz as an old TV on an analog antenna.

  Or well, when I try to import the Pr Ae project, the Pr is in 1080 and 720 is the text in the template and so it seems smaller than is it supposed to be.

  There are exceptions to every rule, but in the great majority of cases, unless it's a great project short, keep your first sequence in first and do not send it to AE. Design your titles that separate compositions in a file of After Effects project, then you can import these compositions in first without any made on whatever it is. You can even update the text inside the first without having to return to the AE. Performances are sometimes doubtful during playback, but it depends on your system and you can always create a preview of a file. More info here:
