Fix for wireless mouse screensaver causing MS fails in Windows 7?

I use a laptop computer Lenovo Ideapad U450p, running windows 7 Home premium.  When I use my Microsoft Wireless notebook optical Mouse-mouse 3000, Mgmt. screen standby and power features do not work.  I saw this issue in other posts, and the fix was for the user to get a wired mouse or bluetooth.  Well, my laptop isn't bluetooth, and I don't want to use a wired mouse.  It's stupid that the Microsoft mouse causes the Microsoft operating system screen saver to fail.  Is there any solution to this?  I already downloaded the latest version of the Microsoft intellimouse software, and it does not solve the problem.  Any advice?

Hi deanan,.

Try the instructions in the following article.

The screen saver does not start after the installation of a wireless pointing device:
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/913405

In this article:

To resolve this issue, connect a wireless receiver, and then go to the following Microsoft Windows Update Web site to check for updates:

http://windowsupdate.Microsoft.com/ (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/)

Install the update that appears as optional hardware update and carries the following title:

Microsoft HID Non user input data filter

    Hi Leeilisa,

    Thanks for posting.

Yes, need you a receiver for your Microsoft Comfort keyboard and wireless mouse.

If these do not appear to you when you purchase, you can very well get in touch with the person who sold the devices or may even recall at the same place and ask them if they have the receiver for your devices. Otherwise, you will need to buy another receiver compatible with the model of your keyboard and your mouse in the store of the local computer.

Successfully, I have improved my 11.2.0.1.0 to 11.2.0.3.0 oracle database and the upgrade worked fine.
I installed the 11.2.0.3.0 in a new oracle home.

Now, my task is to install the latest version of the patches on the oracle group new home (make sure database up to date with the latest patches, in fact).
I'm confused with the available documentations in my oracle support.
CPU is now regarded as a subset of patch of the PSU, I think I must apply the last power supply only. Is this correct?
Is there a step by step guide to apply the latest patch? I saw there are 5 PSUS out (plus late 11.2.0.3.5), do I have to apply each of them or just the final?

Please give me the latest available patches/patch(Still not clear) installation guide group and links to download latest patch available.

    Hello

Thank you for keeping us posted.

Check if the hard disk has been set as the first boot device in the boot coastal in Input/Ouput order Basic (BIOS). Otherwise, you can set the hard drive as the first boot device and check.

Consult the manual of the manufacturer, to do the same thing.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • Need a fix for W7 Screensaver works not when Mrs. mouse installed wireless.

I had a new HP Pavilion G5850uk (5 days) Windows 7 Home Premium. The screen saver does not work when I have a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 3000 installed. If I unplug the transmitter wireless, works of screensaver perfectly, but obviously the mouse does not work!

I found resolution/workaround on the Microsoft support site (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913405) but I have no offending programs installed and Windows Update does not update. The download of the update of the original page has been removed.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you

OK, I cracked. Two things have conspired together. First of all, I uninstalled the wireless mouse, and then reinserted it. This caused a new Intellimouse software download. Then I discovered that the driver software of my phone Skype UP90 prevented also the screen saver to run. Uninstalled it and it all works.

Now just find a new Skype USB phone compatible with Windows 7.

  • Mouse Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 and 5000 laser will not work with Windows 7. Is there a fix for this problem?

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 installed and much to my dismay found my Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 and Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 are not compatible with Windows 7.  If no fix that means I have to start avery good keyboard and mouse I used comfortable for a long time.

When you try to load from the disk, the message informed me that it was not compatible and use the automated system to find a fix has not produced an answer.  My keyboard and mouse are in great shape and it is not necessary for me to replace it with a new one from a material point of view.

The drivers for both devices on the drive that you are probably older versions, you should be able to download the latest drivers for Windows 7 in the pages below, you will need to choose which version of Windows 7, you are running, that is, 32-bit or 64-bit.
