• Help fix the glare of the Sun

  I use Photoshop Elements 9.0 on Windows 7 Home Prem 64 bit and have spent hours trying to figure out how to remove or improve reflections of a photo. I tried every tutorial I found (for the most part on eHow) and may not relate to their procedures, because I can't find items in the menus they consult or obtain results as they suggest. I followed the instructions implicitly when I try to brush a selected sample of the part of the image that I want to correct, he just smears other parts of the photo on it instead of what I selected. • Newbie question: best way to fix the photo with the glare of the Sun highlights

  I'm trying to fix a picture of faces that are almost white in the Sun in places (Photoshop CS4).  I tried different settings, but none of my results were satisfactory.  I would be grateful for advice.

  

  You can't make pixels where there is no pixel.

  The only thing to try would be to paint in color with a large soft brush to a low opacity.

• tables of fixed size in FPGA compilation error - how to implement a waveform control in an FPGA?

  After being stuck for two days, please let me briefly describe my project and the problem:

  I want to use the cRIO FPGA for iterative control of waveforms. I want to capture a full period of the waveform, subtracting a reference waveform period and apply control algorithms on this. Subsequently the new period of correction must be sent again for the output module OR. If it does not work, the captured waveform will look like the one reference after several iterations.

  I am planing to create an array of size fixed for the capture and the reference waveform (each around 2,000 items for a given period). I use so 2 paintings of each elements of 2000. I use the function 'replace the subset of table' to update each element captured in the loop sampling and a feedback for each table node to keep in memory (I also tried shift registers, but then the berries do not have a fixed size any more and I can't start the compilation process).

  If I try to compile the FPGA vi, I get the following error:

  Before I added berries to my code I could compile the FPGA without problems. So, it seems that the tables are too big for the FPGA. :-(

  Therefore, I would like to ask if there is perhaps a better method to implement my problem in LabVIEW FPGA? How could avoid the tables to save my waveforms on a period?

  Unfortunately, the LabVIEW FPGA compiler cannot deduct stores shipped from berries (yet). When you create these two large paintings, you are creating essentially several registers very, very large. Just by looking at your picture, I guess that there are at least 4 copies of each of the tables.

  You want to use LabVIEW FPGA memories instead. You can create memories outside the loop and then read/write them where you are currently referencing the berries. The only change that you really need to do is to break down your treatment in scalar operations. I have attached a simplified version of your plan, I hope it helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.

  

• I have problems with Microsoft Fix It.

  I have problems when the hang up windows Internet, programs will not end/end as it should. It freezes up.etc. I installed Microsoft Fix It to my counter top, but whenever I try to use the resolution of performance problems & security I get the above error # 0 x 80040154 "an unexpected error has occurred, the Trouble Shooting Wizard cannot continue.  Most likely, I would get the same answer had tried other troubleshooting issues.  I have Microsoft Essentials for security and Windows XP Professional Version 2002 w/SP3 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.   I thank very you much for your kind cooperation. I ran Malwarebytes(full scan), then MSE full scan. I used cleaner c, disc cleaning & fragmenteur. I always had problems. Performance has been a little better but still had problems major w / windows & Internet Explorer do not want to close the programs. I researced and downloaded Advanced System Care & performed a deep clean. He did wonders on my p.c. performance and other problems. It's the free version for which I am very grateful. Each day I pull up of Advanced System Care & he told me if I need quick care or the deep treatment. When you are finished, it provides found problems and fixed.

  I'm so glad that my friend shared about this cleaning/performance tool.

  The error may occur if one of the following factor is true:

  1. the services concerned of the Windows Update stop working.

  2. the temporary folder of Windows Update has been damaged.

  3. Windows Update Agent does not work.

  For now, let's try the following steps to solve the problem.

  After you complete the steps, please run Windows Update to check the result.

  Step 1: Check the services concerned of the update of Windows

  1. click on Start, type services.msc in the Search box and press ENTER.

  2. in the right pane, check if the following three services have been launched:

  (BITS) Background Intelligent Transfer Service
  Windows event log
  Windows Update

  If not, please start one by one.

  Note: There is a space between "D:\WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe" and "/ wuforce.

  BTW - the latest Windows Update Agent will change the appearance of the control panel of Windows Update

• My error reports windows 8024402F on run windows update. FixIt unable to solve the problem.

  You can buy LR 6 (not CC) since the products at the bottom of any page of the adobe.com site link.  Scroll down and click buy next to the entrance of LR, say no thanks for the upgrade to the CC version, then change the full upgrade, and you should be able to buy it for $80 $ US.  6 LR license, you will need to both serial number LR 6, that the results of your purchase and a LR previous version serial number, so make sure you get one of your information online on Adobe.com, product first.

  You will need to have a 64 bit system to use LR 6.  You can download and install the LR CC version in a few days trial mode (max 30) just to make sure it'll work for you, before you buy the serial number.  Keep mind that LR 6 always installs LR CC until you register it with a serial number.  You can download the trial LR 6/CC from here: Install Photoshop Lightroom and it would probably be wise to update LR 6.3/2015.3 front of the do too if you get the benefit of any bug fixes, especially in the treatment of the GPU.

• I sound like I'm in a tunnel, can I fix with a filter?

  So, I went out and bought the bad microphone for recording voice over... which I realize only now that it is too late to bring back.   First of all, no filters will solve this problem.

  Second, I suspect that it is just that you are a bit far from the microphone in an untreated room.  Work close to the microphone as you can (without getting a cavernous proximity effect) and hang some heavy upholstery fabric behind you (and perhaps a bit on the side, but not all the way around) when you register.

  It is not a substitute for proper acoustic treatment, but I think you'll find that helps.

  (Boring... side anecdotal when working on stories in hotel rooms, etc., it is not uncommon that even big-name reporters to record their voice with a sleeping bag draped over their heads.)

  I have a huge script that uses only 4 dimensions (on 13) through the script. So easy to maintain and also limiting the DB pass, I fixed 9 dimensions at the beginning and have small corrections to the other 4 dimensions. It is not optimal? Is there another way that I think not?

  It is difficult to read this post because he had the modification of messages after the fact (oh, controversy is fun).

  What I think has been referred to as a 'global solution' was when SET EMPTYMEMBERSETS ON did not exist in the environment of the OP. Without the empty member treatment on Essbase will deal with EVERYTHING. It's quite exciting in a bad way. And is kind of overall fix-on-everything. At least that is what I think it means.

  Here's a quick withdrawal and dirty glare, done in less than a minute, just to show you that that some of the above tools can do for you.  The sky is very easy to fix; the face will require more laborious cloning and painting (retouching).
