"Flicker" 47L6463DG

Hello world

I think that there is a problem with our new TV. To change the channel or switch to smart features, lighting of the screen changes more dark to the then back to normal. Sometimes this happens even two or three times, until it remains normal.
As far I can tell - and we double and triple checked this - there is no parameter activated with the internal light sensor.

I would accept it like this, if he would stay with dark and back once normal, but as happens sometimes twice or more, and with the next change only once I'm a little suspicious. Our last new TV Toshiba died after two days-. -.

So please can someone tell me if this is normal (if your TV does the same?) or maybe how we can get rid of this behavior?

Best regards, sani

I did not have this TV and cannot say if this is normal or not, but what you can do is to contact your local dealer and ask for help. They need to know if all models have the same "behavior" and if there is an option to turn on/off the light sensor.

Have you already checked the user manual document?

  • Internal display flicker, ghosts, black flashing

When you open the lid, the screen started "seers" black, I hear by then the screen will turn on and off, but when on, only show a black screen.  You can see what I mean here. When the internal display turns off, external displays for one second lag.

Sometimes, the internal display will show what is actually on the screen, but it will flicker severely and superimpose a ghost of the screen on to halfway to the bottom of the screen, visible here.  External poster work very well, although they tear sometimes for a millisecond or two.  The computer works fine, I just can't see what I'm doing.  I am posting this from the computer using an external monitor.

Steps than to attempt to resolve, I took:

-J' test to see if it's a problem that the operating system sees or simply the screen by making an entry using Quicktime screen, and no problem in the recorded video.

-Apple diagnostic test revealed no problems found (reference code: ADP000)

    -Reinstall OS X several times

-Starts in Bootcamp, same problem with the internal display

My thought is that it's a bad display cable, the screen inverter or any other Apple diagnostic Test does not cover.  Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Hello CAWeissen,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand your message that your MacBook Pro screen flashes only a black screen, but you can use external screens without problem. I know how much I use my Mac and using an external display is nice, but I do not always want to use a. You did a lot of great troubleshooting so far! An extra step that I would recommend would be to reset the NVRAM.

This article includes the steps to reset the NVRAM:

How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac.

    Reset the NVRAM

    1. Stop your Mac.
    2. Look for the following keys on the keyboard: command (⌘), Option, P, and R.
    3. Turn on your Mac.
    4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys, immediately after hearing the startup sound.
    5. Hold down these keys until the computer restarts and you hear the tone of starting for a second time.
    6. Release the keys.

Also, just in case it turns out to be a hardware problem, we want to ensure that there is a current backup of your computer information.  For more information and creating a backup, check out this article here:

  • Google Street Views flicker evil in whatever happened Firefox 28

Arrested upgrade to version 28 because Google Streetview (classic mode) flickers bad to any higher version. Because embedded in the Disqus post YouTube videos has recently stopped working in v28 I am obliged in a version that does not work for me. Any chance you could fix flicker Google Streetview (classic mode)?

I don't see flicker in Firefox on Windows 7 36. The classic view is certainly use Flash (unlike the view update).

The typical things you could try to Flash to playback problems include disabling hardware acceleration by Firefox and the Flash plugin:

    In Firefox:

    • "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox) > Preferences > advanced > general mini-onglet

Uncheck the "use hardware acceleration when available.

This change takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it again.

    Flash:

some media Flash (or the equivalent of right-click Mac!) right click > settings

Try the first small icons at the bottom of the dialog box (it looks like a very faded monitor) and uncheck the box for enable hardware acceleration.

  • Flicker when moving the mouse on 32.0.2 last

Since the update of FF 32.0.2 on my Mac mouse start flashing when you move on the screen.
It seems as if this flickering is related to the underlying HTML Structure.
It grows on all sites, so no specific site not related to problem is detected.
Until the update 32.0.2 (this morning) flicker has occurred.

No logical reason, the problem disappeared. I have not updated anything (except Twitter) since September 19.

  • How to disable switching on flick (fast-forward) labels in the window?

Hello. I did several google searches on this but couldn't find an answer. When you use panoramic in Firefox on MS Surface Pro (1) Tablet, I slide up on the page to scroll down, and often this flick gesture ends by Sunrise the finger on the tab bar and causes the active tab to move to the next. I want to disable it, as happens every time it's involuntary. I looked in the Firefox settings (tab), but also settings Windows 8, but did not find an option to change it. (for example it appears to have happened on Google Chrome on mobile phones, causing the team to add an option to turn it off.) I would be grateful if someone knows a way to do it. Thank you.

Yes, it has a windows Options with a whole bunch of settings on the various tabs, that seem to be listed in all: config as allinonegest.*, including those for the mouse, rocker, wheel, etc., but I couldn't see anything related to the flicking (panoramic or scroll itself does not seem to change the current tab, I tried). And then, on a Tablet (perhaps as well as on a mobile phone), something in there might be translating at flicking for tabs. When I have more time, I might be able to experiment with the most likely candidates. Thank you.

  • Flicker/flashing screen (Qosmio PX30t)

    Hi all

I have a weird problem with my desktop computer (all-in-one). A few weeks ago the screen began to blink/flicker violently for no reason, I had no idea what was wrong, but when it is started in safe mode it would go. Ultimately I ended up reinstalling the operating system and drivers, and at first glance the problem was gone. It is only when the brightness of the screen DIMMED as the flashing back.

I later discovered that if you change the brightness of the screens even a flashing light came back big time. At that time, I had upgraded to WIN 10 and installed all the new drivers for this OS, in the hope that this would solve the problem, but without success.

Basically where I'm at right now - as long as I don't touch the brightness of the screen it seems fine, but if I turn off the graphics driver I am able to change the brightness without problem or use the Eco mode. I tried a driver installation and re installation with no luck. Is it perhaps all pilots our there I could use instead (currently using GPU Intel(r) HD 4600)? or any other measure maybe I missed.

PS: another weird thing, that I just discovered. If you adjust the brightness of the screen another full then disable the graphic driver, the remnants of turn signals. However if you turn off the graphics driver while the display brightness is set on full you can change brightness without problem. Is crazy.

Have no idea what the step to try next. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time, Nathan

Updated - I just booted the computer in safe mode and went to the Device Manager. There is a yellow Triangle warning next:

    Monitor - Monitor generic PnP

Any ideas on what could be the solution? or is this a hardware problem? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Satellite C855 - 29 the screen flicker becomes constant

I wonder if someone could give me some tips about the foregoing.

During the last two weeks my laptop screen was flicker - colored lines transiting via the page until they get darker and darker. It seems to stop or slow down if I move the laptop (usually at the back) Although lately, it will go completely black.

I have the laptop put in place for the automatic stop when I shut the lid and the only solution when the screen becomes black must do exactly that. It will then normally once I open the lid.

I tried Googling a lot of solutions (that much I find completely confusing) and wonder if it could be a wire lose somewhere?

Any help or advice with gratitude would appreciate it because it is frankly :) drive crazy me

    > I have tried Googling a lot of solutions (that much I find completely confusing) and wonder if it could be a wire lose somewhere?

I put t think that it s a connection lost problem.
But to be honest I'm not quite sure if it's just a problem of software/graphics card driver or maybe a serious display problem.

In any case; from my point of view, you must perform some tests. For example, you must uninstall the graphics driver (can be done in the Device Manager) and should download and install the latest available on the European driver Toshiba page.
In addition you should also connect an external monitor to the laptop to check if the same problems of display is visible on2nd, external monitor.

In case the external monitor would be unaffected, the problem is not related to the graphics card or graphics card driver, but without doubt the dysfunctions of the screen internal.
In this case this part needs to be replaced.

  • Monitor external flicker on Satellite U400-157

    Hi all

Since last week, I bought laptop Satellite U400-157. When I connect to the external moniter laptop with charger plugged the external monitor is flickering (see a horizontal line). When I unplugged the charger the flicker is disappear.

    I tried the following solution:

    1. connect the laptop to different monitors (BENQ 20 "", ViewSonic 17 "and former VGA monitor)
    2. using the power cable of 3 and 2 connectors for labtop and the monitor.
    3. with the help of thick VGA cable.
    4. with the help of another charger.
    5. Finally, I went to the seller and ask him to try another laptop with the same model and the shock was that he has the same problem.

So I can consider it as a FAILURE of this model, or there is a solution for this problem?

    Help, please

    Hello

Hmm I doubt that this problem could be linked to the U400
I use the U400 too and I ve plugged on the external LCD Samsung monitor via HDMI port and the display does not Flash.

I also found this thread on the similar problem with Tecra M5

The guy means that this could be also a problem of laptop but after several tastings, he founded the power cable supplied with the external monitor was questionable.

However, maybe your ASP must check the laptop and the material

  • HP Pavilion screen flicker

I have a P7-1054 with 6 GB of RAM... If I open a window with another thing black on it and it gets too big on the screen (too much color), the entire screen will begin to Flash.  Windows more I opened, the worse the flicker becomes... and by 'Flicker', I hear whole screen goes black and then comes back on again... like he has paint from the top down... and 'worse', I mean the paint becomes slower and slower I have open new windows.  It's in the computer, not the monitor because the mouse hangs out with each Flash.

She broke in February and HP he shipped to the factory and replaced the hard drive and CPU... It flickered a little then but was not too bad.  Then, I didn't use it much and now it is almost unusable because the flicker is so bad.

I played with resolutions and refresh, updated rates to update my video drivers... even returned to the original video drivers, just to see if there was a problem with the new drivers, but the flicker had much worse... even takes place in the stop down and the blue of the BIOS boot screens, and after you have reinstalled the new drivers Twinkle is now constant, even with a black screen with just the icons.

Not really what to do with it at this time, in addition to the replacement of components on my own and see what suits him.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere or have any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Tal

I installed the ATI graphics card update (as well as all the other drivers in the Manager install AMD that linking installed)... Also updated the BIOS.

Nothing else seemed to work so I switched to DVI/VGA... the VGA connection seems to be perfect so far... I guess that means that there is a hardware problem with the DVI connection.

It is not IW so I guess I either buy a new motherboard or stay with VGA... because I wanted 3 installation of the monitor, the VGA connection and a new video card will probably work for me.

    Thanks for the reply.

  • G580 screen flicker to black and heavy pixelation

So I have a laptop G580 which is in good condition and recently updated.

About a week and a half, I noticed that my screen flicker and would become very pixelated with color and sparkle black (I've included a photo). Usually, he would go back to normal, but occasionally, he would continue to flicker and pixelation. Move the screen does ' t affect the problem, restart sometimes helps, and I did scans of material that came back clean. (Programmes of work like nothing is wrong, it's just the screen) Nothing in my laptop seems to be brocken so I don't know what is happening.

Please help because it seems to be happenong more often!

That's what the screen would look like:

If you can find a good shop 'good reputation' that offers you a free diagnosis, that may be your best option. Usually, it's a simple solution, if it is the LCD cable. If it is the graphics card, it's more expensive, but less than the cost of a new laptop.

You can contact Lenovo directly to inquire about the warranty and if it will cover your current number before you pull the trigger on the repair.

    Good luck.

  • Yoga screen brightness/flicker

Love my 13 Yoga so far have had since October 26, when he was released. Like everyone else I had some problems with partitioning blah blah blah, got that taken care, but lately, I noticed that the brightness of my screen seems to flicker ALL the time, with the passage of the program to the program if the color changes on the screen, I have noticed that the brightness changes as well noticeable increments. I have automatic brightness setting set to OFF, so I can't imagine that this is the reason.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Hi dude, it seems I found the reason.

Have you ever changed Intel Panel options?

No matter you did, try opening the graphic Panel and Intel media, see "Power" and then disable the screen power saver.

    Should be made a will.
