• Floating pool, the persona management, printer by default do not forget

  I deployed a small floating pool view 5.0 with management Persona has helped a few users, so far, everything seems to work very well.

  Sorry for not updated this thread a long time ago. I could solve this problem by using a .vbs script connecting to add printers to network and then set them as default.

• Floating pool with a soft makes caching on the OS drive

  I tried searching the forums but I can't seem to find the magic keywords for my question.  I have a Junky Access database/application writes a cache of its data base to its installation directory on the operating system drive.  (This application is installed directly on the OS disk C:\program files\...)  When a user something like trying to run a report on the C: drive, he shoots the full (Access) database down to a directory there.  That takes a bit to do the first time on an ordinary office, and thereafter he just copy down of deltas and the next time the report module is catchy to open. Desktop floating view, he did the same thing until a logoff or recompose.  The next time that the user logs in this cache is gone and the whole process must start again.  Naturally enough, users get frustrated having to wait 3-5 minutes.

  The only thing I can think is copy a simplified version and include it in the image from time to time.  The problem there is that sometimes this cache must be deleted and recreated.  I guess that even if this request was going to cooperate with thinapp, I would have the same problem.  Y at - it an alternative to commuting to dedicated? I really want to do.

  I'm biting the teeth, just going to move them to complete work stations.

  I have users who are connecting to some floating pools of view and they are not automatically get connected to Windows. They connect the customer to see and then are again invited to connect to windows. I don't know why this is happening. Someone else already seen this? I bet it's a problem with my master images I'm not sure which and Google has failed me so far.

  OK, my next step would be to make the image of the mother appear, remove the agent from the view, reboot, reinstall the agent of the view and then a new machine based on this image.

• Notice Client with Local Mode installation issues

  I try to install the discover Client with Local Mode on a Lenovo R60 laptop, just to test the verification process on your desktop from a server transfer. Of course, this isn't a fast computer; It has a dual core 1.66 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. It is under Windows 7 32 bit. The goal is not having a stellar computer experience, but just to make sure everything works. But when I try to install the Client of the display with the Local Mode on this system, I get the attached custom in LocalModeInstall2.PNG Setup option. Note that there is no Mode Local option available.

  The forwarding server is properly installed, and I have published a picture of her with success. If the hardware supports the Local Mode, simply not made this feature available? Or I do something wrong in this?

  Just to clarify, this laptop doesn't have the view Agent, VMware Workstation, VMware ACE, or VMware Player installed. I hope someone can help me understand what is happening with this, because I feel like I'm going crazy.

  Local mode in mode 5.1 is based on VMware Player 4 and requires a 64-bit processor.

  Maybe that's what prevents the installation.

  Maybe you can try with a prior customer?

• Linked Clone pools with fast and KMS

  Here are a few things I'm still not clear on?  (1) what to choose fast as my process for related clones, creating bound within view Admin clone pool?  (2) where point desktop clone related newly updated to point to the KMS server?  (3) therefore to create a pool of related cone that I have to turn off the Parent virtual machine and take a snapshot and then choose this snapshot when I go to the floating pool linked clone process, correct?

  When you create the master vm and before taking snapshots, make sure that its using the kms client.  Any machine that uses this key automatically discover host kms on your network and activate.  There is no need to specify in the settings of quickprep.  When I was with sysprep I put the key client kms in customizers, but quickprep just takes what is there and use it.

I want to create manual desktop pool before I started creating pools linked Clone, but IM a bit confused...  (1) to take a snapshot or convert my WIn 7 image to a model in order to to use in a pool of manual?  (2) when I am creating a Pool of floating linked CLone, what should I do to get this loan with this type of pool? I need to convert instantly or create a template?  I intend using a different image of Win 7 for this pool.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  1: with a pool stick is not creaeding the office so you simply pick a computer from vCenter to add to the pool.

  2: with a linked clone floating pool reminds you the pool to a snapshot on the main picture and then view build a pool based on this image.

• Floating pool - re - balance between the 2 LUNs.

  I have a floating pool of 32 clones related installation and operation. Assigned to this pool has 2 of shared data stores, and I am WITHOUT specifying that it uses 1 for replicas and one for the related clones. I understand that it should spread clones and replicas between these 2 LUN when I perform a rebalancing. However, this is not the case - after the rebalancing, 32 all clones are sitting on a single LUN and the additional logic unit number is sitting not used.  Any help would be appreciated!

  OK, found the former post office where a VMware employee described how the re balance work.   For some reason, I have the hardest time trying to remember this and I always want to say if it's on the free space.    in any case it is here.  .

  If you choose multiple data stores for the creation of the clone, view pool selects a data store based on the 'More low density of Population' (and not based on available space) for example. If you have a data store of 100 GB with no virtual machine inside and datasore of 200 GB with 80 GB used space, although the 2nd data store has 120 B free, that view selects first data store, where there are more sparsely populated.

  In doing so, it ensures that a data store that has less population is still selected and so by balancing storage utilization.

• My re-creation of lightsaber - difficulties with Blending Modes

  I'm reproducing the effect of lightsaber Phantom Menace. I found the following two frames:

  My resources are Blending Modes, solid layers (hidden) and accelerated blur.  However, I can't do it.  The best that I have proposed is the following:

  

  The real similarity is very low, although they may look the same.  My problem is that I can't do what I want with blend modes. For example, notice how in the original version, the blue along the metal beam/band just behind the lightsaber avoids the wick around the white core - it stops here.  How did do that?  I discovered that more light color sort of realize that, but the blue eyes is so severely compromised.

  Is it possible to somehow COMBINE Blend Modes?  (to get the best of both modes)

  What basis? There are so many images posted that I do not know that which you are referring. In general, I use screen in 32-bit mode for effects of brilliance like this. I have to admit that, with the exception of a person showing how a light saber that I was never asked to produce a. I have for light sweeping all the time and they are exactly the same thing.

  The address when clicking "Download Manager" begins with nxm://Skyrim/mods/ the address is such because trying to download with the Manager.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated! I pulled out my hair for the last few hours trying to find a solution. I disabled Adblock, other popups blockers and activated the main address in my exception rules. It simply doesn't get it. Ugh!

  The best method is to create two accounts: a personal and a professional. What accounts are for. Pass from one to the other may takes 2 seconds.
