  Scrolling: scrolling of the laptop requires supporting the drivers provided by the manufacturer. This is probably not installed. Find them in the web site of the manufacturer.

  For jumping: Control Panel/mouse/pointer Options tab, check the line to hide the cursor when typing. This is a common problem when the sensitive touchpad of your laptop errors brushes by the user thumb pads. • XPS 9000 froze and restart does not start - get the cursor flashing, top left of the screen

  System was working normally and after some time froze - no mouse movement, clock does not move, etc.

  Did a stop down with the power button (hold down 10 sec +) to stop.

  On switching on, does not pass through the boot sequence.  F2 does nothing and the only sigh of 'life' is a blinking cursor, upper left corner of the screen.  Tried to close - turn several times with the same result.

  I suspect a motherboard problem because there is no start. Don't know any other tricks to try to resuscitate the box.

  Does anyone have experience/solution for this type of problem?

  As there is no "beeps", I guess as a failed motherboard.

  Try the following, if you are comfortable working around computers:

  Note: The only 100% POWER supply test method, is to install a known working power.
  
  Unplug the power cord, hold the power button in for about 15-20 seconds, open the case, disconnect the power connector 24-pin motherboard and jumping the Green wire to one of the black wires, plug in the power cord and the power of the system, if food and case fans and disk hard drive performance then the power supply should be good.

  Note: Do not remove the wires from the plug, use a small piece of wire or a paper clip as a rider.

  Excerpt from power supply, again, unplug the power cord, hold the power button again for 15/20 seconds to discharge residual power, reconnect the connector 24 pin to the motherboard.
  Remove all the computer PCI cards, remove the video card [as appropriate], disconnect all devices, except the monitor, mouse and keyboard and unplug cable power & data of all readers.
     
  Reconnect the power cord and power the system on, see if you get something different from the LED on the power button, or any 'beeps '.

  No difference, remove the system memory and try again.

  Still shows no signs of life while looking at a motherboard replacement & maybe a processor.

  Note: The good news is, processors lack rarely, being the only method I know to check a processor, install a compatible work PC, or use a known job processing.

  Unfortunately the Dell OEM XPS 9000 renovated/new motherboards are not cheap.

  There was a problem with that in Camera Raw, but I'm not sure LR & PS. It happened on Windows, when the size of the default text for the operating system was not set to 100%. I thought that this problem has been fixed in the latest updates of ACR.

  In the future, avoid using Preview if it is possible.

  Paragraphs with new tags are not automatically added to the catalog. This is an option when you create a. When pasting in text from another document of FM, the new tags are not automatically cataloged. For a tag one already in the catalog, do a Format on it delete doesn't remove it the cat. Containing text is still present and still labeled with deleted format.

  It is in fact an order (sequence of dialogue) which causes all formats in use, to added to the cat (and the details of which I do not remember at the moment). Instances of existing catalogue with overrides formats get the entrances to chat with new names. Results of the massive pollution catalog, but it is fine if the intention is to clean the substitutions and weed out thieves (or adopt).

  The cursor does not work in all applications.  I was allowed in word documents.  When I click on the connection box, I don't get the drop down with choices; the choice will Flash and then disappear.  A spreadsheet in Google docs, does not work with the cursor.  the window opens to the right and if I drag the slide to the left, it slides back just before I can select one cell.

  I tried to empty the caches and history (successfully, I think).  I use Mozilla and Safari.  Gmail was my first instance of the problem with th elog-in box.  Now, the problem seems to be spreading.

• Paragraph GroupTitlesIX tag does not appear in the list of bookmarks PDF

  When I do a "save book as PDF' then watch list"Include paragraphs"for one of my books, the GroupTitlesIX tag does not appear in the list. If I open just the index, the GroupTitlesIX tag appears in the list and the index letters appear as bookmarks in the PDF of the index.

  In the book, if I update the index file highlighted, select Format > Document > PDF Setup, the GroupTitlesIX tag appears in the list. But if I highlight all the files in the book, or even a single file in addition to the index, the tag does not appear.

  I generate the index using add it > command Index Standard. I just tried creating a new book from scratch, using models of default FM; generated an index for the book and see the same problem.

  I use p277 FM 8.0. What Miss me?

  FrameMaker is not the analysis of all the documents in a book when they offer paragraph formats to insert into a table of contents or PDF bookmarks. I seem to remember that having the format in the first file of the book is a good idea. Then make a book update before trying again.

  N ° for the space around lists, make three models: bulletbegin, bulletmiddle, bulletend. The first style must have extra space above, the last style must have extra space below.

  I've always wanted a characteristic of the interaction style like the one you describe, and I used to love the spacing to Ventura, who collapsed additional space contiguous to the highest number (if a paragraph has 6 points after the next paragraph has 3 pts before, Ventura gives you 6 points after), but I've never seen a program that would allow the space with some style interactions. What are the programs "have done this for years?

• Paragraph catalog not selected text code

  I just loaded 12 Framemaker and noticed the paragraph catalog indicates is no longer the used tag when I select the text in the documents. I can't find an option to enable this. Any ideas?

  What version of FM12 point? The latest patch brings it up to 12.0.4p445. The development of catalogue of the name of the tag to the location of the cursor was introduced only with the 12.0.3 patch.

  Note: you must load the patches in the order.

  Alternatively, you can split a catalogue in two or more separate catalogs.  In the Organizer, they help > System Info to find the location of the current catalog folder. In Windows Explorer, make a copy of this catalog folder and change the name of the file the desired name for the new catalog.  In this new catalog folder, find the file "catalog.pse8db" (or .psedb/pse7db) and double-click it to open it in PSE.  Then delete the ones you don't want in this new catalogue (not to remove the disc).   Repeat to other subsets of the original catalogue.  Due to bugs in PSE 6, this method can break projects (e.g., slide shows).

  Copy the catalog and the deletion of unwanted images (deletion) seem to be a good idea to keep all the information, including albums, version sets and batteries. The problem is that the deletion of a lot of photos at the same time was virtually impossible in older versions of items. You need to remove the small batches at the same time, and it was very long. Otherwise, you have an overflow of the memory and the process would be giving up. With PSE14, it seems that the process of deletion, but very slow, works without error.

  Of course, when deleted, check the box: also remove the disc.
