  • RAW for DV7T-6100 sata driver

I am looking for the raw for the DV7T-6100 .ini files and can not find them anywhere. I am trying to install Win 7 on this system and it comes up with "no cd/dvd device driver installed etc etc which really means I need drivers SATA on my Win 7 install Flash drive." Where can I find these drivers? the .exe will work of course (except if im missing something)

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello:

    Try this...

Download the drivers from this link below (first or second file listed - 32 or 64 bit depending on the case).

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?AGR=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=23060&keyword=Intel+RAPI...

Extract the files on a usb flash drive.

With the flash player and the installation of W7 media connected to the computer, boot from the installation of W7 media.

After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

You should now see the storage driver files listed.

If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

Follow the prompts and hopefully, W7 should install.

  • How to migrate Windows 8.1 for SSD the SATA drive of 1 TB on Alienware X 51 R2

    Hello

I installed a 240 GB SSD in my new Alienware X 51 R2 desktop PC.  It is formatted and accessible within the OS Windows 8.1 at the current address.  I want to migrate OS applications and factory to the new SSD.

    Any advice?

What I think I do below:

I have saved everything, created exotic images of system using premium respawn, etc..  I made a bootable CD of Alienware s/w.

I assumed that I only need to reboot from bootable CD or USB, choose the SSD as drive and choose restore from USB to recover the OS + Apps, correct?

I have to change the boot sequence in the BIOS or something...?

Request of forum before I go ahead and take the leap!

    THX,

    Chris.

    Hey Chris,

abfifg gives good advice (although his link is broken for me, not sure what he was pointing to).  Cloning is certainly the best way to go.  Personally I use Acronis True Image for years & it has been easier for me.  I cloned my Alienware 13 500 GB hard drive to a 240GB SSD, then back to a 480 GB SSD.  Intelligently, it can migrate & adjust partition of a disk of larger size and a smaller without problem.  It is not free, but it's worth it in my opinion.  There are other free options out there, but I never got none of them work well.

    I hope this helps!

I put t think you know what you're talking about.
I've visited the European driver of Toshiba page and yes I checked the L40 PSL48E and YES download area I found the SATA driver!

Intel Storage Manager contains the necessary SATA driver!

As you suggest, you can create a new Win XP CD and could include the SATA driver to this page using the nLite.

    Hello

I'm having a little trouble with a PC, my father gave me. He was still under Windows XP, I formatted his 5 ready for my use SATA drives, then I installed Windows 7. When I finished installing the BIOS recognized the correct readers, I created a JBOD Volume, but Disk Manager does not recognize. I tried different tables without tables, restart, reinstall Windows 7, formatting the disks to the format of the ODM using my laptop and try to find an updated driver (impossible even to find any drivers online).

Please could someone give me some help?

I suggest you to refer to the suggestions by Anil Kumar B responded on 7 September 2013 and check if that helps.

  • Graphics driver problem Lenovo G770

    Hello

I recently bought a new Lenovo G770 computer and after some time began to experience problems with the ATI display driver who kept sparking blue screens (BSOD) and black screen crashes with the well-known message "the ATI display driver has stopped working and has successfully recovered". My system is the CORE i5, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB HARD drive and double version graphic (ATI Radeon HD 6650 M and Intel 3000). I have the latest drivers from the Lenovo support site, the question "do you have the latest version of the driver" is useless. The latest driver for the ATI Radeon of Lenovo is one dated April 15, 2011! Has anyone encountered this problem? I'm not really willing to Exchange my laptop or sending it to the service without a little research and DIY. Thus, everyone, Lenovo, HELP? Much appreciated!

    Thank you!

  • E420 - SATA driver for Windows XP

    Hello

I installed Windows XP x 64 on my Thinkpad E420 a few months ago.  Get the operating system to work with 64-bit drivers was a major pain, but I finally got it to work.

Yesterday, as XP x 64 became slower and slower, I uninstalled and installed the 32 bit instead (being fully aware that I won't be able to use my 8 GB, only 2.8.  Will not not to do a lot of school work on XP anyway).

I was hoping that I would have finally managed to install the SATA driver, but no.

It's quite annoying to start the BIOS and change the drive mode from AHCI to compatibility every time I start Windows XP (and the reverse for Windows 7, too).

First, I installed the chipset driver Intel here:

    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?docid=DS013906

Then the video driver and tried to install the AHCI support problematic:

     10. Select "Install from a list or specific location".
     11. Click "Next" button.
     12. Select "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install".
     13. Click "Next" button.
     14. Select "Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller" and click "Next" button.
     15. Click "Finish" button and click "Yes" button to restart system.
     16. After system stable, Click Start, then click Control Panel.
     17. Perform steps 4 to 12...
     18. Click "Hard Disk" button.
     19. Click "Browse...", then locate the extracted driver folder
and select the driver INF file, iaAHCI.inf.
     20. Click "Open", and then click "OK" button.
     21. At this point you should be presented with a selection and highlight

b.Go to Config tab, and select "Serial ATA (SATA)" and press enter.
c.choose "AHCI" mode, and press F10 to save and exit.

I can't use a floppy drive, and the main problem is that I did not "Standard dual channel PCI IDE Controller" in my device manager.  Only this (sorry for the French):

    http://ImageShack.us/photo/my-images/13/devicebk.PNG/

I tried selecting the first choice (primary IDE channel), but I get a BSOD.

What should I choose, instead?  I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you very much!

    I have it!

It was actually very simple to install, in fact.

I reinstalled the operating system, and what is important, it is necessary to install the SATA driver immediately after installing Windows XP.

The problem is that I installed the Intel chipset driver first...  Of course, that has caused the problem.  The SATA driver must be the first driver to install.

    Simple as that!

  • Satego X 200 - 21U - where to find the XP SATA driver for install XP

    I have laptop Satego X 200 - 21U with installed Windows Vista.
Where can I find the driver for SATA drive so I could install Windows XP?
HARD drive is Hitachi hts 541616j9sa00.

    Hello

The SATA driver is part of the Intel Storage Manager.
You can download the Storage Manager Intel since the European driver Toshiba page.

The package contains the F6hlpy folder that contains the files needed for the SATA.

These files must be included for the Windows XP CD using free software called nLite.

Google for nLite to get and find more details.

How do I not what SATA driver do I need for the Satellite L300 - 03C so I can make nlite

    Hello

    Your laptop seems to be a Satellite L300 - 03C PSLB8C-03C01X.
As already indicated on your first visit to thread the Toshiba Canada page and choose this model of laptop on the driver page.
    http://209.167.114.38/support/download/ln_bymodel.asp

Then download the Intel Matrix Storage Manager (SATA) - image of floppy drive. It of for Vista, but the files in this package should work with Win XP too.
Include these files using nLite to create the new disk Win XP that contains SATA drivers.

Finally use this disk to start.
