  Looks like the system expects more numbers like 4 specified in the Get digit string.

  Seriously? By applying some basic SQL functions. Change the e-mail column in the query of an alias column and the SQL expression as

  substr(email, 1, instr(email, '@') - 1) email

  or, if you want to burn some CPU, a regular expression is another way to do it:

  regexp_substr(email, '^[^@]*') email
