  Everytime I open Photoshop, I get a screen advertising of 10 'free' of Adobe Stock images. I was interested to see close-up photos, but you won't see any not stick, and the small print in the ad said, "refund of a month on Adobe Stock when you subscribe... an annual plan...". "So it seems that this is not a trial offer free to all, as I first thought - apparently I will be charged for the first month if I decide to cancel the subscription. But this page says "Cancel risk free in the first month." Does this mean I will not be charged for the first month of the trial if I have to cancel ?

  After seeing all the harm that other forum users with the cancellation of the subscription after the signing, I'm not sure I want to do it anyway, but I'm curious to know what really is the offer.

  The offer is basically first month free on a one year subscription. You pay the first month and which is refunded to you. Where it becomes 'free', is that you can download your 10 images, then cancel within the first month without penalty. However, if you do not cancel within the first month will be on the hook for the full year or pay a penalty to cancel.

  You are also right that there seems to be no real way to cancel at this time than to post here. If you have not decided on the conservation of stocks, it may be in your interest to spend. I hate to say that as I'm a big fan of Adobe and Stock.

  You can search for images without being registered for a subscription, you can even add libraries without going through a subscription. You can even license single images without a subscription.

  I'm a little annoyed by the fact that I am facing a Stock lookup field in the section tool creative cloud for OS X Apps.

  Usability-wise Apps is for applications, not in Stock. Especially since it has a dedicated section. It makes it less clear Apps section and feels like an attempt to push Stock purchases. And to be honest, do it like this, it only stimulates me to study stocks even less.

  I feel your pain - this is a terrible decision UX to be there. If I had to guess, I imagine that he was forced by a person in marketing rather than something with that designers came.

  I came up with a fix for this problem in Windows, and I hope that you can adapt it for OS X as well.

  How to remove Adobe Stock from the creative Panel Cloud Apps

  1. First, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\AppsPanel\resource\ui\resources\js\view (or the equivalent folder on your system)
  2. Make a backup copy of bannerView.js so that you can return the changes we make, if it becomes necessary
     
  3. Use a text editor such as Visual Studio Code (free for Windows, OS X and Linux) to open bannerView.js and scroll down to the line 116
     
  4. Select and delete this all var stock_banner =... section and replace it with var stock_banner = "; (i.e. two single quotes, not double quotes)
     
  5. Save the file and close your text editor (Important: due to how work file permissions, you may need to save the file to a folder first and then copy it from there back to the display folder to overwrite the original)
  6. Quit and restart Adobe Creative Cloud (under Windows, you need to go to the CC, right click, and then quit system tray icon to exit completely) and voila! No more boring Stock in the applications Panel banner:
     

  Important

  It is a fairly simple change to a text file, but of course Adobe does not recommend or support it. So if you are not confident by making a change like this, please do. It is also possible that you will have to re - apply the patch, whenever the main creative cloud application is updated.

  I have run windows 10 on a hp G2 z book. I tried to disconnect and creative cloud back in. I rebooted my machine. Did not help.

  I can get the stock very good site and I can download comps in my libraries without any problem. It; s just that I can't find in in applications.

  Have you tried to log out of the desktop application Adobe CC and then reconnect?

  That would synchronize the libraries.

• Adobe Stock 'Free' trial refused to cancel

  I added the trial version free Adobe Stock to my subscription of the CC and used about 6 of 10 free photos. I went to cancel within 30 days to find that my account had already been loaded on the 29th day renewal period? Tried to chat to solve, the guy told me that my subscription had several months (CC MY account has been, no STOCK).  There is no help, because they would not pay the renewal or cancel the subscription without 'start' fresh termination $159! What gives? After researching I found free trial Adobe Stock SCAM with a few others who have signed up for the trial period and tried to cancel.  I am not happy and certainly suspicious of all future subscription. I just want to cancel the Add on stock! Any other suggestions that taking to Twitter? Someone had problems with subscription cancellation?
