Freeview TV Toshiba 32c3030d problems

Hello

My TV has decided to stop the display of freeview. (DTV of entry).
Terrestrial TV works fine, BBC - channel 4, as do all other entries, IE: HDMI1 and, PC, etc.
I thought it might be just a signal problem, however on I can't even choose the menu on DTV option without letting her fall off the screen after 2 seconds.
The display alternates every few seconds between black and dark black, (as the screen is turned off completely)
So strange like all other entries are fine!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Kieron

Hallo Kieron

I hope you get help, but I don't think it's the right place for your ad.
It is actually a Toshiba computer systems support forum.

Google all over the place. You might find a few multimedia forum where you can discuss on TVs.

Good luck!

    Hello

    I have a TOSHIBA LX830 PQQ19A-01800R with serial number: XC395277Q

I have the PC itself connected to y LG 3d Smart TV via a HDMI cable, I checked the security settings and sharing files etc and for some reason any TV is not picking up the PC for screen sharing.

Whenever I clicked to put on the "second screen" or "mirror image" etc., it snaps without problem no warning message appears and still no picture on TV.

"Change of the appearance of your display" is not picking up television is in the first drop-down menu "display".

I don't know what else to do, or if, this computer connects to a TV, I sincerely hope it does in the case otherwise I would consider this is a major flaw with this product.

    Thank you for your time.

The specifications of the Toshiba LX830 says that this computer of Toshiba all-in supports the * HDMI IN port *, but it doesn't support HDMI OUT port

    The signal HDMI IN ports.
This means that you can connect an external device, such as play station or an Xbox to this one All in display.

To connect to an external TV to the computer/laptop, you need a HDMI OUT port that does not seem to be available!

  • Toshiba 22L1334G problems with HDMI

First of all, thanks to all for trying to help me :)

Now let's make the problem: I bought this TV yesterday and I immediately connected on my PC (video card AMD R9 270 X) with an HDMI cable (the cable is Rev. 1.4 and less then 1,5 m).

The global definition is very good, but I have in fact 2 problems:
first of all, the colors are very saturated and can't do their natural even if the video card values.

Second, the text with fonts bit if it's not black is very blurry pixeled, very difficoult to read.

O Google searching I found similar problems for many people, but they have solved the problems, simply assign the HDMI PC input.

Unfortunately, they used Samsung or LG screens and there in my Toshiba is not the parameter to indicate the HDMI signal PC.

What can I do to use this device as a monitor in the right direction?

    Hello

First of all I must say that this device isn t 22L1334G Toshiba PC monitor but it s a TV that can be connected to the computer via the available RGB (VGA) port.

Thus, in case you want to connect a computer to this TV and want to use it as an external monitor, you should use the VGA port available

I must say that I had the same problems in the past with blurry fonts using the HDMI port.
I connected a device combined monitor/TV and connected my laptop to an external monitor s HDMI port.

Blurry fonts were really a pain using office applications, but I found a solution; my device supported an additional DVI port and I was able to connect my laptop to monitor cable HDMI-DVI.

My other monitor takes care of one other manufacturer supports additional parameters to change the sharpness of police so I can use the HDMI port.

The user manual contains a list of the file types supported by the reading of network based on the DLNA specification. Please make sure, that the file types that you want to playback are mentioned in this list, otherwise it won't work.
Also, please note that USB playback generally supports a variety of file types, for technical reasons. This has nothing to do with the brand or model, but is caused by technical limitations of the DLNA standard.

    I have a Toshiba Regza TV 46WL768.
I bought a Qviart Unic satellite receiver and when I connect to HDMI does not recognize.

  • External Toshiba HDD problem. Something wrong with Windows I think.

Toshiba ALU 3.5 "1.5 TB external HARD drive problem
    Hello!

I'm having a problem with a new external HARD drive, I bought a couple of months.

The HARD drive is recognized by Windows XP as a disk 3,5 '' HARD, but then he invites for drivers and never.
They say drivers should be on the HARD drive itself, but my computer does not access the drive and never
He attributes a letter or anything like that.

The disc works on all the other computers I've tried with. My computer is since 2006, so maybe
It is an age problem. I do not know.

I drive came as FAT32 and I tried to format it in NTFS, but it does not work.

I have completely updated the DELL drivers (bios, chipset, etc) and Microsoft (SP3/etc), then it cannot be a problem of drivers, it can?

    MORE DETAILS:

Hey guys, it seems that the problem is more complicated. Here are two other discoveries that later, I did:

I accidentally uninstalled a USB root hub, and all of my usb devices stopped working. I had to read on how to re - install, and most of the people, said that Windows should do it by itself. There can be no. So the next thing I did was uninstall all the USB controllers, on the assumption that Windows XP should reinstall automatically thereafter. Windows did not have this too!

Although Windows has detected something, it does not recognize as a controller and have not installed the drivers for them. I had to manually tell Windows to look in C:/windows\system32\drivers and C:/Windows/c:\windows\servicepackfiles/i386 to each controller. It was tiring.

I finally reinstalled all my usb controllers and my webcam works well again. But has not fixed the problem HARD drive.

This is related somehow the problem of HARD drive, because I plugged my hard drive to a friend's computer and tried to put my computer on a USB key. Guess what, the USB is noticed by windows, but not recognized or installed in 'my computer '. The same story!

I must tell you that in early December, I removed an old Go 700 Siemens drive of my system without "Safely uninstall" and it crashed HARD drive. Now, I realize that this accident probably missed my copy of windows, or my computer. I'm not sure of that... ?

I believe that all these problems are related. It seems centered on the ability of Windows to detect large storage via USB devices. My webcam, for example, works very well.

Well, I'm always working hard to solve this problem, but if you have any ideas, please let me know!

    All the best,
    M.

  • Data storage 3.5 "Toshiba Canvio problem with permanent fade.

Since I started using the Toshiba Canvio 3 TB 3.5 "external data storige disc he found himself a strange faul which makes it difficult to use.

Data storage, for example when I use it to watch a video file off and then it start immediately again to go back... It can happen to the breast of a movie 20 times and it is very annoying because you never know when the judgment will happen...

    How to fix this please?

    Hello

In my opinion it is not very easy to say why the external HARD disk automatically turns off while watching a movie. But this issue does not seem that there might be something wrong with the settings or software.
Of course, some tools are available and installed on the HARD drive as the NTI Backup Now EZ software but I n t think that this could affect the playback of the movie. However, this software supports and automatic backup function and you can change how often your backup intervenes (hourly, daily, weekly, etc.). So try to disable this setting for testing purposes.

Fact is that this 3.5 HARD drive must be connected to a power adapter and HARD drive supports the USB 3.0 interface but it s backward compatible with USB 2.0.

I put t know what are the USB ports you have used for the connection of HARD drive, but I recommend you test all the USB ports taken in charge by the PC.

Last but not least, it could be possible that there is a hardware problem simple HARD drive

My ericsson F3507g GPS can't find any satellites... I tried everything (land bridge, Garmin Nav & Go,...) as user in other post, but it still does not work...

    Any ideas?

BTW: I thought about GPS antenna malfunction...?

Can you confirm that you are able to get NMEA data flowing? And that you get all the data by satellite?

Also, it would be intresting to know if you can get out the signal 3G max indicator? That is, are you able to get 5 bars indicating maximum intensity of the 3G signal? To achieve this, you might need to move a little, preferably outdoors and also near the station a basis as possible. If you get 5 bars of GPRS or EDGE (2 G GSM) cover is not interesting, only UMTS or HSPA (3G) is interesting.

  • Toshiba 50L7335DF: problems to play 1080 p mkv files using media player

    Hello

    _The facts_
I have problems to read files mkv (H264, AC3 5.1) 1080 p via the media player on a USB drive (USB is formatted NTFS)

The video begins and is OK for a few seconds/minutes, and then it becomes jerky.
    (the subtitles were on)

I also found that the menus are generally very slow on this TV...

I also had some problems with subtitles:
-they were not displayed on a single video (tested OK with VLC on my laptop ubuntu)
    - and on the other, they showed too fast, I want to say it have been synchronized, but they disappeared fast after displayed.
-one this second video, I got a few square character displayed at the beginning of some lines (maybe an encoding problem, I'll try to understand by myself)
    - And finally, the submarines are truncated at the beginning and at the end of some very long sentences on a single line.

    _So questions: _
-Is powerful enough to manage movies mkv 1080 p TV?
N ' matter what official NTFS support soon? (and don't tell me to FAT32... I know that the limitation of 4 GB, which is sad on 1080 p HD mkv...)
-No recommendation for the encoding format presentations?
    -How to solve garbled subtitles?
-There's a subtitle settings (font, size, duration, time)?

Y at - it an update of the firmware fix fo preparation menus speed or one of these superior facts?

Try to make the subtitles is UTF-8.
You can use the editor like notepad ++ to choose the option to convert it to UTF-8 format.

  • Toshiba laptop problem after Gaming/Windows Update.__No solution on the web.

Hello! I use a Toshiba laptop.

I was playing a game and windows update popped up!

He has not yet finished, and my computer turns off. It was late in the night, so I decided to start the computer the next day.

He will appear with the options
    'Safe Mode '.
    "Safe mode with network.
    "Safe mode with command prompt.
    "Last good known Configuration".
    "Start Windows normally".

Whichever one I choose Windows XP logo appears, then crashes immediately, restart.

So I tried to use "do not restart in case of shutdown"

    And the blue screen appears

    "stop: 0x0000007e (0x905c49b8, 0xf792b2b4, 0 x 80000003, 0xf792afb0).

What is this error? I can't enter safe mode by the way!

    Thanks for your help.

    It's http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330182

Advanced Troubleshooting use the following methods in the order in which they are presented. Method 1: Make sure that you have enough hard drive firstly space, make sure you have enough hard disk space. The Stop error message can be caused by insufficient disk space.

If you use safe mode or the Recovery Console to start the computer, delete any unnecessary temporary files, Internet cache files, backup files of stored-program files that contain fragments of disk analysis files (.chk files). Alternatively, you can install Windows XP on another hard drive that has more free space.

If you cannot start the computer, go to the next method to update the BIOS of the computer.

For more information on safe mode or the Recovery Console click on the numbers below to view the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

315222 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222/) a description of the options to start Windows XP in Safe Mode
314058 (http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314058/fr/) Description of the Windows XP Recovery Console

Method 2: Update the computer BIOS if freeing space on your hard drive has not solved the problem, the BIOS might have to be updated. Use hardware and software vendor contact information items that are listed in the "Références" section to contact the computer manufacturer to obtain the most recent update of the BIOS.

Note When you update the BIOS, you may have to disable the memory the BIOS options, such as caching or shadowing him, temporarily. Method 3: Disable or update device drivers if you have successfully updated the BIOS and the problem persists, on the computer video card drivers may have to be updated or disabled. Follow these steps to troubleshoot video card drivers:

    1. If a driver is listed by name in the Stop error message, disable or remove that driver.

      • If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is using the NTFS file system, you may be able to use safe mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver.
      • If the driver is used as part of the procedure of starting the system in safe mode, you must use the Recovery Console to start the computer.
    2. If the Stop error message does not indicate a specific driver, update the video card for the latest drivers.
    3. Disable or remove drivers or services that you recently added.
    4. Check the list of Microsoft hardware compatibility (HCL) to determine if the computer's PCI devices are compatible with Windows XP. For more information about the HCL, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:
      http://www.Microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx (http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx)

Method 4: Remove unsigned drivers if you have updated the video card drivers and the problem persists, or if you cannot start Windows in safe mode, the problem may be caused by a different driver, not signed. Remove all drivers that are not digitally signed by Microsoft. For more information on how to do this, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

316434 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316434/) how to perform advanced clean boot troubleshooting in Windows XP

Method 5: Remove all third-party drivers, you may be unable to determine which third-party driver causes the error. If removing unsigned drivers does not resolve the problem, try to move all third-party driver to the %Windir%\System32\Drivers folder files to another location. Follow these steps to move the third-party driver files:

    1. Use the Recovery Console to start the computer, or start the computer from a different installation of Windows if you have performed a parallel Windows installation.
    2. Create a temporary folder for the driver files. For example, you can create a c:\DriverTemp .
    3. Move all files that do not have a creation date for Windows XP of the 13/08/2001 to the %Windir%\System32\Drivers folder to the temporary folder you created in step 2.

Warning If the computer relies on pilots third-party IDE or SCSI controller for correct operation, you must identify those driver files and leave them in the %Windir%\System32\Drivers folder.

    4. Restart the computer.
    5. Continue Windows Setup. You can add the files of the driver to the computer, one at a time to identify the faulty driver.

Method 6: Remove third-party remote control services if you still have the problem after you use the previous methods and the Stop error message contains the name of the file Win32k.sys instead of a file name of the driver, the problem may be caused by a control program to third distance. To remove the service, use the Recovery Console to start the computer, and then delete the file of control service third-party remote.

  • Virus with Vista on a Toshiba Satellite problems

I am running Vista Home Edition on a Toshiba Satellite. Apparently I was infected by a virus because Windows Security Essentials flashed messages on my screen about detected viruses and he tried to quarantine. Unfortunately, I get a message that says something about Windows encounters a critical error and will be shut down for a minute. Also, my computer does not seem to hold a charge (battery) suddenly and flashed a message on the power supply or battery manager having a problem. I started mode without failure, and while it may take a minute for the Windows message while meeting a critical error to appear, he appears again and then stops for a minute. I can't get the computer to stay long enough to do anything. I even tried to try and disable the automatic stops when Windows encounters a problem in the same Mode window safe mode (F8), but it will still disconnect me and close. I tried trying to get Microsoft Security Essentials to run a scan but the critical error that meets Windows continues to turn off the computer before it can go very far. I'm puzzled and not particularly compyter savy. There, can someone help me?

Because it is a Toshiba product, I suggest that you ask them how to reinstall Vista.

    Or try their Forums:

At Toshiba, we could buy a recovery disc but it will cost money; and you don't know if it will work.

Or borrow a DVD of Microsoft Vista, don't buy Toshiba Recovery DVD.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

    See you soon.

I called Toshiba, and they won't help me and he autherized Tech would be no help, since it's the same people my mother took. Rock and a hard place, ideas?

If I win it do you really think that I post using my name of xbox live and the news of the laptop?

    We can not help you

    simple as that

Rule of Microsoft is that they we BAR if we try to help you

    _________________________________________________

as I said there must be a reason why Toshiba won't help you if you have provided proof of ownershuip of this laptop for them or their technicians

As I already advised you: ask them why they won't help you
