• Satellite L100-120 cuts of sound when running several applications

  I don't know if it is a software problem, but I'm pretty sure that it is. I have an a L100-120 recently, I have not had problems with it. The problem occurred when I tried to use the laptop speakers anymore.

  At first I noticed sporadic sound interruptions when several applications are running (especially Yahoo Messenger). I thought that it was because of the CPU and memory load and I chose to ignore the problem. A week before, while I was listening to music in Winamp, speakers for laptop (Yes, I have a headset, but sometimes, I feel the need to use the speakers) serious interruption occurred on the noise and I was forced to close two processes in a forced manner.

  Then, at each reboot, the Windows theme song was interruptions and grew every song that I played, no matter what I had programs open, and regardless of whether or not I used the speakers.

  I reformatted the HD and the problem disappeared. Unfortunately, today, I met the same problem, the same Messenger - situation of winamp and everything has stopped working properly again. At each reboot Windows high loading times and every song I play interruptions, even if the RAM memory seems rather free.

  I tried: defragmentation, clean registry, anti-virus, own system process...

  I don't know if there is a real problem of YM.

  A question: did you play music files from the HARD drive?

  If yes yes maybe that's the problem. I think the noise interrupts because more enforcement are running and access the HARD drive Assembly.

  But it is not if you listen to just the music without running applications?
  It happens if you play the music from the CD?

• Several applications with lib install via OTA problems

  We have several applications that use a library.  We offer them to users via OTA. So in all files jad app add us links (url, sha1 and size) to the cod of the library files. But we found the following problem: sometimes after an installation of apps on the device with a certain amount of our applications - some of them could not fail.

  Also, we have foung which, after upgrading OS to the latest version library, could not fail too.

  Everyone has the same problems and maybe a solution?

  I understand that.

  However, I have found that if you do not, then by installing a second request that contains the shared library can remove the first application.  In addition, removing one of the applications can also get out the shared library.

  This seems to be what you see also.

  Then I go back to my original statement:

  "The only way I think you can probably make sure that the shared library and apps are managed correctly using OTA downloads, is to put them in separate downloads."

  But this is only my opinion based on my experience.

  The current Architecture is two nodes with the Application on a node and the CM layer and DB level on another node.
  R12 Application tier is going to be on both nodes and the DB on cars.

  Please let know us on how to achieve.
  Upgrade with the node of an application and then clone or make a multi tier application node upgrade.

  Both approaches will work. However, using the cloning approach would take less time to compare several node approach.

• CFDump several applications to a single file

  I have several applications running on a single server of CFMX7. I want to be able to run a single model of diagnosis, outside these requests, which will simply dump all scopes of application. I read that I could do this way:

  My question: when I call cfapplication for FirstApp in the model of diagnosis, how am affecting the FirstApp "real"? It seems to me that this method would be to attempt to create a second instance of FirstApp. Would cause problems? Did I miss something on the works of cfapplication?

  All the name of the application is, it is that a CF tag used to allow the code to identify which application it uses.  You had never created a duplicate of an application, and more would be that both ask normal, hit the tag with the same name.  The application is not related to the file that is the tag, or anything to do with the system files at all.  The application resides only in memory, and - I repeat - all is the name of the application a handle to match a request to an application.

  The more you know is if this app has expired, you must re-init by reference in your model of dump.

  I am currently a SQL Server DBA and Admin, but I'm currently trying to learn a little more about how Oracle does its thing. Therefore, someone could help me with the following:
  
  In SQL Server, we have up to 70 - 80 'Databases' attached to a single database "Instance". Each database may be for a particular application, we develop for one of our customers, or it could even be for a specific internal system.
  
  I know that Oracle has a definition different from what a "database" is so I was wondering if someone could give some tips on how I would create my 70 or 80 databases under Oracle (if I were so inclined).
  
  The closest analogue I can see in Oracle might Tablespaces, but which does not seem like a fit perfect either. It is common to have several applications running database in an instance of Oracle or even possible, or is Oracle perhaps everything designed for applications simple uber?

  The analogy is that a 'database' in SQLServer looks more like a 'plan' in Oracle. A schema is the collection of all the objects (tables, indexes, procedures, etc.) that belong to a single user account. This user account can be created for the sole purpose of owning objects. Real users (humans or applications that connect with their own credentials on behalf of a human being) can benefit from access to schema objects.

  There is no inherent link between this and a tablespace. While that a user account has a default tablespace for objects it is, the user can actually have the objects in any tablespace for which there quota. And a given tablespace can contain objects of multiple schemas. Many DBA will make a relationship one-to-one between a schema/user and a tablespace, but it's strictly an organizational decision and there is nothing defined in the database to apply it.

  You can print a report or an entire page of dashboard, but unfortunately you can not print a section 'reports' with 'click '. Users will need to print each report separately.

• 64-bit Windows 7 mouse freezes / stuttering several times per minute

  Found this post online by Googling my problem...

  I recently bought a beautiful Alienware gaming platform, running on Windows 7 64 bit. Also, I experienced problems with my mouse, as a first step, I took no notice, but after a few months, start/stop stuttering hiccupping became very annoying. In fact, never 5 to 10 minutes, my cursor will freeze for about half a second, 2 to 3 times in a row. This becomes especially noticeable when playing first person shooter.

  At first I thought it might be a problem with the mouse acceleration, so I've done everything I can to solve the problem. I use RAT 7 of the Mad Catz Cyborg, so I downloaded the software and drivers more recent and even ran an application published by Mad Catz which clears the mouse acceleration, but still the problem persisted.

  I tried everything...  I did all the updates of Windows at this point, my mouse/graphics card drivers are updated to the latest, I ran several scans for spyware, adware, viruses, registry, I tried 2 different mouse... and I always get these random hiccups freezes while browsing or playing games. I ran the DPC latency checker and there is clearly something affecting it (whenever there is a hiccup, the bar fly upward into the red zone), but I can't pinpoint the problem at all (went in the Device Manager, off and on almost every program, no change).

  It's a shame, but this problem with the mouse, it rolls. Anyone have any useful suggestions?

• How can I create an 'empty' icon in iOS 9 which may contain several applications - such as the icon of "Extras" already existing in the iOS? That is to say something similar in the folder "Applications" in Mac OS?

  Apologies in advance if this is a really stupid newbie question - I use Mac and Mac OS since 1985, but only got my first iPhone with iOS a few weeks ago so I'm still very few familiar with the iOS interface and its operation compared to Mac OS. So here's my question:

  On my iPhone 5 c running iOS 9.0.2, there is an icon on the homescreen called 'Extras' which itself is not an application but rather that essentially works like an "empty folder" (according to the old metaphor of Mac OS) where you can 'drop' several apps. When I then click on the 'Extras' icon, a window opens showing me all the applications that are contained in this file/icon "Extras."

  I really like how it works, because it simplifies "clutter of the icon" on my iPhone. But I'm frustrated that there seems to be an 'Extras' icon, and I can't find a way to create a new extra. Better yet, it would be great to be able to create several icons "empty folder" then I could rename each to my taste, each containing themes of all pooled applications (e.g. ' Radio/Music apps', ' drawing/art apps,' "maps/hiking apps," etc.).

  So: Is there a way to create additional "icons" that work similarly to the 'Extras' in iOS icon 9? Thank you.

  To create a new folder, press and hold icon til it wiggles, drag it to a different icon, a folder will be created automatically.

  You can rename the folder.

  Press the Home button again when you are finished.

  Note: The folder will disappear if drag you applications.

  You cannot create an empty folder.

• Satellite L750: 'freeze' for several seconds game League of Legends

  Initially, Iam from the Germany, then it might be difficult for you to understand me.

  Since I bought my L750 (PSK2YE) I had an annoying problem:
  Sometimes, if I start my Firefox (with several open sites), or if I play League of Legends
  my laptop is in a sort of 'frozen' State for 1 or 2 secends.
  In this 'gel-State' Gets freeze my mouse, the game and the sound and I hear a noise, a sound like a rumble or a Bumblebee, but I can't describe it.

  Someone knows something to solve this problem?

  On your laptop must be preinstalled Toshiba HDD protection tool and from there you can enable or disable the HARD drive protection.

  In any case you noticed the high HARD drive activity when this happens?

• Several Applications using UDP Multicast Open (read only) on the same port

  Currently, I am trying to build a system that has the following architecture:

  RF Server = "1-9 A/D '-> «UDP Multicast (write-only) 1-9"»

  Workstation operator = "QTY (N) Data Display Apps all need independently to access one of the 9 UDP multicasts at a time.

  Essentially, I have 9 items of antenna that all digitized and distributed via UDP separate multicast address and port. On the receive side I need to be able to have the N number of data display applications where everyone can select the antenna element he wants to get data from. My current goal for N is 7 and the worst case for the data rate is 3.75 MSps IQ rates on each display.

  My question is whether or not it is possible to have several "UDP Multicast Open (read only)" on the same port but one by application Data Display? Also, are there limitations with this.

  On my local machine I tried a bit with the example 'UDP Multicast Sender.vi' and "UDP Multicast Reciever.vi". I created a "UDP Multicast Reciever2.vi" as another application that listens on the same port/Multicast address as the original receiver. No errors are thrown when you run the receivers and both receivers get the data string sent by the sender at the same time. Can I send data/a. 'PC'-> 'Router Ethernet'-> 'PC with receiver UDP N' reliable evidence? If so, that's fine, because it would be relatively easy to implement. BTW, I do not fear with occasional loss of data what is happening with UDP.

  If this does not work, I am also curious to know which deals with data deduplication. For example, two applications by subscribing to the same Multicast address and port does the router send two copies (which increases network traffic)? Or, the Windows operating system get a single UDP packet to the port and replicate in two independent applications?

  Below (or attached) are the two methods I thought. If multiple readers of UDP does not work so I thought I'd do a DataSocket "Data Distribution layer" between the incoming UDP sockets and display data on the workstation applications. This would add a bit of memory/processor to the PC workstation, but I know the DataSocket server of NOR can handle a sender unique multiple receiver architecture.

  The number of concurrent applications, get data on the same port UDP will probably be a limitation of the OS as well. If I had to guess, I would say that 7 of the applications should work correctly. In fact, the memory/CPU bottlenecks are probably the limit on how many simultaneous readers we have, especially since the capablities of PC hardware differ from one computer to the other. I doubt that the OS has a strict limit.

  I am facing the problem with my windows server 2012 R2. After I connect to the server and leave it there for a few minutes:

  • Some of system applications such as device, power, system, etc. Option Manager are stopped working. When I opened them, I have nothing.
  • All my applications c# (.Net Framework 3.5 ~ 4.5) was an error 'could not load file or assembly 'my_reference_libraries' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file. ». I'm sure that's not the error I can run the application correctly before this problem occurred.
  • When I open "Manager configuration SQL Server 2014", I get the error "the instruction at 0x0023ae20 referenced memory at 0 x 00000058. The memory could not be read. »

  Strange thing is when this is the case, I can open "Event Viewer" and after opening, everything back to normal. I can open applications, including my c# programs without any error. It's not just my guess that I tried this work many times. Opening every time the "Event Viewer" has solved the problem. There may be other applications system who will be doing that job, too, but I have not tried everything.

  In case the Viewer, I got tons of errors for:

  • GroupPolicy - Group Policy processing failed. Windows could not apply the policy settings based on the register of the LocalGPO Group Policy object. Group Policy settings will not be solved until this event is resolved. View the event details for more information on the file name and path that caused the failure.
  • DistributedCOM - the server {06622D85-6856-4460-8DE1-A81921B41C4B} is not registered with DCOM within the required time.

  What could be the problem? My user session froze? I get trouble solving this for several weeks already and still got no chance.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Let me you suggest reviewing your material, including memory. Added new hardware recently? A updated driver recently? Please update hardware drivers.

• What are the opinions of the developers on how best to manage the upgrade of the libraries of great code with several applications again a version of labview?

  I have a large set of code I have carefully migrated from version of one labview to another over the years.  I have a lot of deployed applications that I need to continue to support.  Of experience and interaction with other developers, I don't think I can continue to migrate each application to a new version of labview when I move in the future.  Each application seems to break in one way or another, the versions do not work right and need to be redone and its much too much time to get all my apps working and tested again.  This opinion is solidified by the policies of OR which make it impossible to install older versions of new versions of labview Toolkit, for example.  Compatibility is often sacrificed so NEITHER can develop labview in the direction they choose.  So I have to take the position that what version I have to write an application in will probably need to be maintained in this version of labview throughout his life.

  In this context, how are other developers management old application written in older versions of labview.  Right now I have a PC virtual on my system 7.1, 8.0, 8.2 and 8.5 running on different virtual PC so I can keep each installation separate.  I highly recommend this approach.  But keep my large libraries of separate code is difficult.  They are several GB, they all relate to each other, and I always get worried, even when I separate them into different directories that somehow labview will search in the wrong place and find the wrong version of a subvi.  Other people are also trying to keep copies separate from all their code in versions different labview?  How other people handle this problem?

  The hierarchy of the following directories, coupled with a VI "hierarchical" naming strategy, have been effective (for me) to prevent "Crosslinking" through projects and versions of LV. The hierarchy of storage has been designed for use in an environment of CSC, but works very well regardless. Hierarchical naming ensures unique names for application-specific files. Library use of the project (in LabVIEW 8.x) addresses the problem of having different screw with the same name, yet, it gives me warm-ferrets have application-specific files named in a unique way and I can't imagine not use hierarchical naming more - he described the length in section 2.1 of the attached. doc...

  Note: It has been my experience that societies resources as well as specific support "programs", where a program is linked to a product or the "family" of products, so, under the (each subdirectory of "Program" below) encapsulates specific applications to the product (or family-specific). Assuming that no CSC tool is used the directory (below) is also, as depositary for distributables.  All the distributables necessary for the reproduction of a test station should be placed under .

• Laptop freezes when running applications

  I got a G6 Pavilion - 2263ca with Windows 8. When I open an application on the start screen, the laptop freezes and closed. I ran a system recovery and all the system diagnostics, but nothing has changed and I can't find a hardware problem. I sent it for repair in the workshop, they replaced the HARD drive and reinstalled the OS but nothing changes. Right now, all I can do is reinstall the RAM, but seriously, I don't think it will solve the problem. Please help me :-(

  Try the following.

  In regards to the manual maintenance on the link below, delete one of your memory modules and then see if the laptop works Ok.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still working properly, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to run without freezing.

  The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed from Page 55 of your & Maintenance Guide.

• Weird bug Simulator runs several applications of JQuery

  Just noticed some really strange behavior in the Simulator. I have three JQuery based applications that all work well, but not when one of the other is already running. When this is the case, a second launched application does not start. It freezes on the loading screen of your application.

  This problem is listed ot the list of known issues:

  After you've started a BlackBerry WebWorks application in the BlackBerry® Tablet Simulator, other BlackBerry WebWorks applications will not start. (1158697)
  
  Impact: You cannot run multiple browser-based applications at the same time.
  
  Workaround: Only run one browser-based application at a time.
