frozen initialization of Setup?

When I try to install Photoshop as a new Member of Adobe Creative... I get the following... and it stays like that... was 2 hours after I tried to reinstall as suggested.  Any ideas?

Follow the procedure below:

N ° 1)

Click on the Finder and search options listed next to the Apple icon located in the upper left corner of the screen and click on the menu 'go' button and select 'utilities'.

(Applications > Utiliites)


Trash Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folder under utility window.  [** Important]

Step 2)

Trash Adobe Creative cloud folder from Applications as well.

Step 3)

1) click the icon of the Apple menu and select System Preferences, then click Network.
(2) choose the network that is currently connected to the internet can you Ethernet or Airport (Wireless).
(3) then click on the Advanced button, then click proxies.
(4) slot 'Select a Proxy Server to configure' uncheck all the proxy check the boxes, then uncheck "Use FTP Passive Mode (PASV)".
(5) then click on the Apply Now button.



Step 4)

Click on the link below and download & run the cleaning of Adobe tool:

If it is present . Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and click on ""clean Selected " ."

Then try to install again.

  • Creative cloud desktop application will not be installed

    When I launched my desktop app cc to use typekit, it asked me to update. The update has no error 1001. I wasn't able to use it, so I uninstalled and installed then again without success. It initializes the Setup program starts the download of the desktop application, and then disappears. I used cc cleaner, but all that was remove my photoshop! Help.

    I had no luck with above mentioned. I was able to chat with Adobe and the remotely installed an update to Applications Manager and that solved the problem. I strongly recommend to update your App manager and chatting with Adobe. They have been great.

  • Setup was unable to initialize/Disk Image damaged

    While he was working tonight my Macbook Pro has completely frozen and when I restarted it, Photoshop would immediately break the launch. I looked at all possible means to try to resolve the problem, but nothing has worked. I uninstalled. I downloaded the .dmg for Photoshop CS5.5 Standard and after editing, he has encountered an error that the disk image has been damaged. I tried again, same thing. I managed to find my paper skips the disk in my machine and received an error that Setup could not initialize. Since then I tried to open Illustrator and it crashes immediately launching as well.

    In addition to what @Ned said, try the steps on this link CS6 on the latest Mac OS installation:-install Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra).

    If this does not resolve your problem, I would like to share the OS version, ask so that we can help you properly.

    As you mentioned that this cleanup tool failed with error while you were uninstall the use, I would ask you run it again and just trying to remove Adobe Application Manager and Creative Cloud(if you see it in the list) from there. To remove applications from your Mac, see this link:-Remove already installed the Adobe application files. Mac OS X

    Note: Please do not follow step 4 If you don't want to delete all Adobe Applications on your machine.

  • Unknown Publisher box opens, I click run, it starts and then stops, saying "error reading setup initialization file".

    Windows doesn't let me download an application from my library to the city.  It is an application used to download their books. I have Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion.

    I start the download, the process begins, and then a small dialog box opens saying "Unknown Publisher" and the choice of 'run' or 'Cancel '.  I chose 'run', it seems it will continue then a little screen pops up saying "error reading setup initialization file."  I "ve never had no problem download at this point.

    For the same problem, I tried the following and still no luck:

    I've got "pop-up blocker" turned off.
    I disabled the "Inprivate filtering",
    I turned off my "firewall" temprarily

    Any other suggestions for this problem?

    Otherwise, it is perhaps a question that you should take with the Publisher of the software.

    However, you can try to use the Windows Installer CleanUp utility:

  • Cannot delete point 2.052 Yontoo with control panel: gives "Tarma install (setup initialization error).

    It seems that the point 2.052 Yontoo was installed on my computer.  I did not, and would like to remove. Control Panel it will remove not becaue of error of initialization of the installation program.  repair the program installation/uninstallation is not a mistake.  is there another way to solve this problem?

    Hello. I am a PC user, and I am trying to solve a problem with the installation download links listed on this page. When I try to run the installer, I get the message listed in the topic.

    Initially, I tried to download products from the creative cloud desktop app, but while the download should start, it would not be completed entirely due to an error (I don't exactly remember the message). I ran the creative cloud cleaning tool, installed the Creative Cloud Desktop App and tried to start the download again. But it did not work.

    So now I'm done trying to install them manually and this is where I am now.

    2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the

    4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

    5 restart the installation.

    I'm pulling out my hair. When I run the exe to install for 2015 of CC, it IMMEDIATELY gives me a "Setup cannot initialize error:

    This is a new PC, built later than yesterday, m and there is no other teenagersoftware be installed on it. I've seen mention in the forums of the appdata\local\adobe of compensation and program files (x 86) \common files\adobe etc folders, none of this has worked for me. I downloaded the ApplicationManager9/0_all.exe and installed, but it did not help. Then I tried to uninstall, that doesn't seem to work very well, so I downloaded the creative cloud cleaning tool and running. After installing the application manager there was Ceres in appdata and common files, so I deleted those.

    Absolutely nothing has worked - the installer dies immediately when I launch, with the same error message 'could not initialize installation' I see the other people here an assignment to the top.

    Can someone help me? I have no idea how to solve this problem!

    Edit: It is a Windows 10 PC, not a Mac.

    'Could not initialize installation' could indicate a corrupted download. If you haven't done so already, try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall Lightroom 6: How to manually uninstall the Lightroom
    2. Use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove the remains of program use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems
    3. Download a new copy of Lightroom 6 to install Photoshop Lightroom
    4. Try reinstalling the program.

    If, after re-downloaded, you keep getting the same error, I recommend you to review the installation log files to identify the specific error: Troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite install problems with log files.
