Fully scalable image

Is it possible to put a fully scalable image in page? I mean the width is the width of the browser and the height is proportional. I know that I can use image rectangle filled, but 1) this works only for a minimum width, if I continue down browser width it starts to hide, 2) content below this image is in a fixed position, even if the image is reduced, the following content is not go higher

Hi michalg42689863,

Currently, Muse doesn't have the functionality for pictures entirely admissible. However, apart of workaround you mentioned in your OP, there's this widget which may be able to help achieve something close to what you are looking for: Adobe Muse Responsive Images Widget | MuseThemes.com

  • IMAQ fully black image output local threshold

Hi all, I have written a script easy to read in a set of images, do some processing on their basis of the image and view the results. My problem occurs when I try to use the local threshold IMAQ in my script block - the program runs and displays the images very well without it. But once I got through the local threshold IMAQ block in the image, it only shows a completely black image.

I know this should not be the case because I literally copied and pasted the same blocks generated by the wizard of Vision in my code, and I confirmed that runs the same image through the same series of blocks generates in a simple script seuillee that is not completely black image.

Someone has an idea what could be the cause? Could it have to do with my version of Labview in 2011 and my version of labview for 2013 vision? I'm a newbie to labview so I feel that I must be missing something obvious...

While I am, my ultimate goal is to be able to follow a whale in a video. Does anyone have suggestions about where to start on this very heavy problem? I started looking into the estimation of movement and followed subject screws, of course, any advice on how to implement a robust solution would be welcome. I want to use a bunch of case statements to change how I'm Imaging before doing an analysis of movement?

Thanks in advance for the help! I have attached my script below.

    Hello

regarding the first part (threshold), try right-clicking on the image, then select binary palette. Your other option is to use imaq multiply by a constant (value max 255, 8-bit image).

I hope this helps a little.

  • Scalable image slideshow from the browser window

Im trying to use 3-5 images in a slide show that is the width of the window of the browser here is an example of what I'm talking about http://rorymcilroy.com/

Also where he says: I am a golfer & etc... is it possible for me to have the text appear also with each slide?

You will not be able to create one that develops dynamically with the browser, it will have a fixed size. You can add text to slides using widgets of Composition (even if the text scrolling animation is not possible).

Sorry, but not looked at of course that this would even be the reference.

I came across sites that have drag images (without flash) and no matter how small make you the web browser window, the image is reduced to fit or develops, according to what you do to resize the browser window.

Pulling the bottom of the image, the sizes are huge 1900 x 1267 and some are not set at 72 dpi but 96 dpi.

I mostly use Photoshop CS4 to export jpg files, but y at - it another way? Made it through Fireworks? How can I watch the way in which the image has been saved on these sites?

Thanks in advance for you help.

"dpi" has no effect on the web images. Ignore it.

To see the original image, right-click on it, save to your computer, see Photoshop.

These images to scale through a simple setting in HTML/CSS. There is nothing special about the image file.

  • How can I create an image map in Dreamweaver CC2015

I'm working in Dreamweaver CC2015 on a Mac. I can get the tools displayed in the Properties window when I'm in Code view.  I'm going to Split view and tools are still there, but I can't use them. I use the fluid grid.

  • Beginner question: resizing/scaling of images, STROKE and workflow.

Hi all.  I am new to the world of the Illustrator/design, so my apologies for what may seem like a stupid question and I thank you in advance for the advice.

Basically, I created an image in illustrator that I want to use at different sizes.  I thought at the start: "Hey, it's all the stuff of vector, so I should just be able measure it goes up and down without problem!  However, I quickly realized that while paths are vectors, the stroke applied to paths are not, and they do not change proportionally when I adapt paths.  So, if I increase the size of the image, the objects that were once touching now have gaps between them, and if I reduce the size of the image, certain traits begin to overlap. Just to be perfectly clear on what I'm talking about, here are a few screenshots:

Original Image scale Small scale image
    ai_correct.jpgai_gap.jpgai_overlap.jpg

    My questions are:

    1. Was my assumption that 'Illustrator files can be resized easily and inconsequential"simplistic and erroneous?  (It seems that it is!) Please help me understand how illustrator is or is not useful to create scalable images.
    2. Is the right way to manage this just to determine the need for size and have separate AI for each size files, or is there a way to 'better' which implies not manually kicks setting for images of different sizes?
    3. Third option of comedy!

    nvenet,

The perception of the way it should be is correct; but there are a few strangenesses that can mess things up.

An important one if you have strokes & effects of scale checked or unchecked, in this case, it must be checked, and I believe that it is unchecked.

You can find it in the Transform palette dialog box.

You can consider the object > path > feature of contour, then Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G to ungroup, then Pathfinder > unite to change the path traced in a simple filling/nostroke. This will work regardless of features & scale effects.

Another important is the ghost of pixel grid Align attribute which may haunt you, know well in other cases; often you can recognize by distortions. If it isn't:

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

And you can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • Images from Lightroom do not look the same when opened in PSCS5

    Hello

I use LR 3 and PS CS5, but an annoying problem that I don't know how to fix. Basically, when I look at a picture in the window inside LR 3, obviously true insofar the contrast and saturation and hue... when I select Edit in Photoshop CS5, the file opens in the PS, but the contrast and saturation and the same hue are a little off. Why?

    Thank you

    Juan

Juan, note that in Lightroom develop didn't use all the raw data available at a time to give you an overview. She does as otherwise, the program would be unusably slow. Each movement of a slider should give rise to a complete rerendering of the data at full resolution and then reduce the image resolution of the screen. Even on very fast machines out there that lasts about one second that would make all glacial especially on normal computers. So in a zoomed view outside, it takes just a subset of the raw data at lower resolution and uses for rendering. This can subtly affect the saturation in cases where there are a lot of specific details of the colors because there are no average before reaching the lower res image. When you zoom to 1:1, Lightroom simply makes only the small subset of the image you see in your window. Because it is a small subset, it is still once very fast, but is now done at full resolution. To develop, you can only 1:1 see Lightroom apply the noise reduction and levels of sharpening that can also affect the saturation similar to zoom out. Certainly, this will remain a problem until we are a few generations further down the curve of Moore. However, at this time there, the resolution of the cameras will have increased by the same amount as the rest of the problem.

Now consider what happens when you go to Photoshop. Lightroom (or ACR when you use "Edit in Photoshop") reproduces the image of the raw usually a TIFF 16 bit prophotoRGB. It is then opened in Photoshop. Photoshop doesn't know how to deal with RAW files. He needs a fully rendered RGB image provided by ACR or Lightroom. Now, since you have a fully rendered image, downward revision is very easy. However, you have more freedom to reinterpret raw data. The model used in Photoshop is very different from Lightroom and so different restrictions apply.

In the Lightroom library views, a prerendered jpeg is used for the display. This means that, in library view, the image is reduced to a fully rendered image and should show a desaturation with respect to develop when you have a lot of specific color details. Note that neither Lightroom overview of the library and scaled down preview Photoshop are actually accurate. The two scale in a corrected gamma space, but for display only. To complicate this, Lightroom evolves down using a different algorithm than Photoshop (which uses several mechanisms based on the zoom level - i.e. If it is divisible by two).  It is simply impossible to precisely display a picture in high resolution on a computer screen very low resolution. Always deal with scaling, for which there is no more correct approach. They have questions (stupid method of Photoshop has certainly).

Finally, a lot of people who see subtle (or even extreme) differences between Photoshop and Lightroom do have a problem with their monitor profile. Make sure calibrate you re - your monitor, and when you do, make sure that the calibration software generates a v2 profile (most profiling software have this option in advanced settings). Lightroom treats LUT v4 unlike Photoshop monitor profile. This difference will be left in a matrix of v2 profile.

  • GeoGebra prints a PDF with printer acrobat, its text that can be selected or not searchable.

I want to join the pdf but it does not seem possible. So I'll put a link http://elinkage.net/1.pdf here.

The created pdf file is certainly not an image. Nice looking for smooth fonts which is fully scalable.  Just can't believe that the text is not selectable or searchable.

Thanks for all comments and solutions to correct the issue.

The characters associated with the field points are represented by actual fonts.

The rest is shown characters (an image using vector graphics).

Open the PDF with Acrobat Pro (any version).

In short - nothing can do a 'find' or a 'research' on as it is not more not less than an 'image' - no 'real' text (a prerequisite for any search engine to 'find' or 'Search' or built a search index).

  • .EPS is true vector?

    Hello:

Can someone tell me rather save an image in Photoshop CS6 as .eps is actually true vector quality?

I just read a few confusing information, and now I'm not sure.

Are the images I save as .eps be fully scalable without losing quality?

If not, can I do to (tons) images, I already did to make them do not lose quality?

I tried to open a .eps file / an image in Inkscape, that is, if I understand correctly, a vector program, but the open file does not recognize the .eps files.

The .eps seems file Ps w / itself, but now I wonder about the other programs. I am so new that I don't even know if that's logic.

In addition, if Ps .eps files tend to lose quality scalable so is it a way in which I can create images as real vector or as images that do not lose their quality? Do I need another program?

Your time and your efforts to help me is greatly appreciated :)

    Thank you!!

  • 64-bit deluxe ATM actually works, you can not install

I actually could not believe. Is Adobe really that lazy that they can't just repackage the installer so it will work on a 64-bit version of windows? Well, it seems that Yes.

I went to my co-workers computer, which has the same version of the software than me and just copied all his computer to the (x 86) folder folder program files.

When I tried to run, the software gave me an error that there is no database in windows, but it let me create a. Everything worked well.
I added our company font scheme, and that they work correctly in Photoshop and Illustrator. I does not check AE, still Prime Minister, but I guess that those are fine as well.

It looks like all you have to do is install on another computer 32-bit, and just copy the files. Someone should test on Vista too. I heard that it does not work under Vista? Sure, just that if you install elsewhere just to copy in the licensed version, uninstall you on this computer when you have finished copying.

I hope that Adobe will get their act together and start doing these things compatible with an operating system that they claim to be obsolete. 80,000 people run our company and it seems that anyone using Photoshop will be for XP64 conversion over the next 9 months. Hmm, obsolete? I think that they do not realize that large companies do not use the latest software, not their software is really only compatible with Vista either. Laughing out loud

Hopefully this post has helped some of you guys. I'm still laughing inside that something so simple worked.

To understand why ATM is no longer supported, you must understand the history of the product and of its initial objective, which dates back to 1989 and the Font wars between Adobe on one side, with its technology of Type 1 fonts of PostScript and a coalition of Apple and Microsoft on the other side with their technology developed by Apple, but generously "borrowed" from the Imagen TrueType fonts a printer laser since the 1980s.

The first version of ATM for Macintosh was released in December 1989 strictly to allow host-based copies of the Type 1 fonts to be made "on-the-fly" of the screen rather than the user having to install versions of these fonts of bitmap to listening to a resolution size and point special screen. The Windows version followed in a year or two. Indeed, blunt ATM an attempt by Apple and Microsoft to put Adobe out of business by locking the fonts Type 1 out of office. ATM allowed the fully scalable technologies of Type 1 use on Macintosh and Windows before TrueType was actually available for Macintosh or Windows. This unholy alliance of Apple and Microsoft have also pushed a clone made by Microsoft to PostScript, image, licensed Cal Bauer (this is a separate story but it goes without saying, that CloneScript was really poor and did not quickly; Apple came running back to Adobe for Adobe PostScript to their new LaserWriters without ever actually releasing a product based on Microsoft's image).

Subsequently, Adobe released its variant Multiple Master Type 1 fonts, which provided the ability to vary the weight, width and other aspects of fonts, generation custom "instance" of policies to better the needs of the designer. ATM has been used to control the building and installation of multiple Master instances.

Over the years, two additional features have been added to the ATM. The most recent was taken in charge of OpenType CFF fonts (i.e., fonts OpenType with Type 1 outlines) and in the "Deluxe version" of the ATM, a very basic font manager.

Over the years, i.e. by the time Windows 2000 and Mac OS X shipped, it original for ATM was gone, because now the beginning with these versions of the operating system, Type 1 and OpenType CFF font support is native in the operating system that is based on Apple and Microsoft code Adobe individually integrating the operating system. The only goal left for ATM under Windows 2000 and Windows XP was to support the creation and installation of instances of Multiple Master fonts. Given that Adobe has stopped developing new Multiple Master back in the 1990s fonts and arrested shortly after the licenses, the need to support several masters outside of Adobe applications themselves (who always supported existing Multiple master instances, either the primary case delivered with fonts or bodies established by the user) has declined to almost nothing.

The only function left at the ATM has been managing policies, historically, the weakest aspect of ATM Deluxe.

Adobe would then make a decision regarding the future of the ATM. The key was the capacity of relatively small fonts management of ATM Deluxe - she provided no automatic activation, was based on the code very old which was incompatible with new versions of the OS and was quite incompatible with Adobe applications, Adobe had measure the cost of development, marketing and support a management program policies of new generation advanced competitive with other products already on the market perform similar functions. In simple terms, the decision at the time was that saw the cost of developing, marketing and supporting a type of force new, industrial, (b) Manager given the current managers of police quality required that users were actually willing to pay for such software available from third parties who appear to meet the needs of the market, and (c) has reasonable , it wasn't worth Adobe make the necessary investments to create a 'new generation' ATM.

Could that decision be revisited someday? Perhaps although it is unlikely that such a reassessment will give a different decision. But for now, Adobe Type Manager is a product that is no longer sold or supported.

Can constrain you ATM Lite or ATM Deluxe to install on Windows Vista 32 bit? No doubt. It will work on Vista? Maybe though we've heard mixed reports and Adobe don't support you if you mess up your system, try to use it. 64-bit Windows (XP and Vista) is another story. The setup of the ATM is a 16-bit program that simply does not work on these 64-bit systems (same is true with old Adobe Universal PostScript Printer Driver Installer). Can the ATM code itself run - Andy Engelkemier claims it does, but don't count on it properly interfacing with Adobe Creative Suite applications properly or the multiple user environment. Because the other fairly competent font manager software is readily available at a reasonable cost, you must carefully assess the value of your time by continuing to run an ancient font manager, unsupported, low functionality without future compared to the migration to the products are still developed and supported by their developers.

  • PrintScreen of Windows 7 doesn't work does not correctly

Not sure if it is in the correct category but... I downloaded Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit from my school DreamSpark account and installed on my computer, which is pretty old about 5-6 years.  There should not be anything wrong with the copy of Windows, it is not a debug or whatever it is, it's just the regular retail copy.  Almost everything works fine except for a few small quirks/bugs.  First of all, I can't preview images using the Windows Viewer, it displays simply all the rectangles fully black images.  However, if I open an image to preview in Image Viewer, and then click full screen/slide show then it displays the images as should be in full screen.  And then exit fullscreen Gimme the picture in black and white.  Not a particularly serious issue just annoying really.  In addition, perhaps in relationship I guess, I recently discovered that my Windows PrintScreen does not work.  When I hit PrintScreen, or any variation of the PrintScreen key combination, it captures just a large black rectangle, as if my entire screen showed only in black.  I tried to paste my Clipboard into Paint and Photoshop and both give me a black monitor rectangle size, it's really weird.  I even tried a third-party screen capture software and it's the same thing and I can't find anything even close to relevant on the internet.  Anyone have any ideas, anything is appreciated.

Another separate problem: when I turn on my computer, it will sometimes, not often but enough times to be meaningful, decide to not turn it on and recognize my keyboard and I have to restart and I hope that he do it again.

Last thing, I swear (I should probably do different missions).  My computer, as in my windows, does not sleep properly.  Sometimes, he won't in the mode 'sleep' and every time I try and wake him up it gives me a white, white I think, screen instead of the login screen.  If I press space to unlock my computer, because there is no password, it will take me on my desk but he will not recognize my internet connection ethernet or my desktop speakers and I have to restart my computer to get these features.  Once again a lot of what I think are really weird problems.  Any ideas on any of my problems is greatly appreciated.

  • How to create a scalable background image?

    Hi all

I would put a scalable background image to a label field. I put the background image using the setBackground() method available in the field of the label. What happens when you add text and the page length grows? My page renders a resolution more nearly the same page so that only when you reach the end of the page see you at the end of the picture. How can I get the picture to stay as it is planned, covering completely the screen and stationary and have only the text itself move?

Can you post the URL, so I can take a look?

    Design.Hunter 6 hours ago

The scale is not going to work well with a super high page. Best for heights of page fixed (and shallow). would love to hear if there is a way to separate scrolling of content from one medium to the scale.

    lilpillz04 2 hours ago

I see the problem here with the height of the size of the image. Here's an example of what I would take place. www.themasters.com-- if you ctrl (+ or-) to zoom the image remains relatively constant. In addition, on other pages, is the background image. Could we change it to say cover the entire page giving more details and constrictions regarding its size or zoom?

It seems that themasters.com uses a JavaScript to maintain the background image at 100%.  He works very simular to the solution I posted in the link that uses CSS to keep the background image to 100%

In regard to the second question, you could do with abritrary html using a div.

  • Scalable swf flash images in pdf format?

I use Adobe CS 5.5 package. If there is a way to create scalable flash (vector) graphics when I create pdf files?  These images flash (swf files) are flexible in my html file, but when I "print to PDF", they are pixelated.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Jay

    Yes and no.

"Feel" any web page to PDF will always rasterize non-text objects, it is part of the way the web browser works.

If you are using the Acrobat 'create PDF from Web Page' button, there is an option to keep the multimedia interactive. With this selected, content SWF on the web page will remain as native SWF on the PDF content, so it will scale when zoom you to display the PDF file on the screen - but when you print this PDF it will again be rasterized.
