Function keys not working only not with screen sharing
Sierra running on all machines. Until the update, I would use on iMac 2014 screen sharing to access a Mac Mini 2011. Everything worked very well. However, after update, function keys no longer work through screen sharing. I confirmed the screen sharing is the problem, as functions correctly with Mini bluetooth keyboard, and also logging since MacBook Air gives the same problem from the iMac. It wasn't a problem during execution of El Capitan or even when I used Sierra Beta on iMac.
Anyone has any suggestions or has met this themselves?

Print screen key has stopped working.
I use the print screen key all the time and it used to work perfectly and now, all of a sudden it stopped. I restarted my computer and it still does not work. I even tried to use the Ctrl or Alt key at the same time that I pressed the print screen key and not achieved anything. How should I do?
One more suggestion...
I found that my 'Print screen' button will stop working if the "Adobe Reader" app (for .pdf files) is running. If I exit all instances of the Adobe Reader software, and then my "print screen" works again.HTH,

For example, if there is page that won't load properly, and whether you want to send an image of a person, press the print screen key, then open a graphics such as Paint or Paint Shop Pro program and right-click with your mouse to "stick" the image in. " Alternatively, you can choose to paste in the drop down menu of your graphics software.

Hi supperman.
I have a problem with the screen capture. When I take a screenshot by pressing the print SCREEN key on my keyboard, I can't get a screen shot in small size, in a Word document.
someone knows the reason for this? How can I get a screenshot in a normal size. Thank you very much.
Hi tony.wang,
If you copy the screenshot in a Word file, it will be the default page of the word file size. It will be in a smaller size to fit into the Word file.
However, if you want to open the full-size screen capture, you can use Microsoft Paint on Windows application.

I have Windows XP - Pro. The "Print Scr" button does not work and niether is the combination of keys 'Alt + P'. My keyboard is not an "F LOCK" / key "F Lock feature" because it has a "Num Lock" key There's no other keys on my key Board that suggest even a '___Lock' of any kind. If not, how can I get this feature. Oh... and one more thing, Microsoft/people sending responses to others, here, to "Social responses" can you try to be a little more specific with what you're talking about? As your knowledge is greatly appreciated by many, many of us are unfamilliar with computers and have NO idea what you're referring to. When Microsoft did not find something or is just lazy to do so, he advises people to "ask the administrator of the computer. I'm the "computer administrator", but I'm inexperienced! How does it work? Thank you all.

I want to use the print SCREEN key, but does not work.
Using Vista, I want to activate my key on my keyboard screenshot to capture what I have on my screen at the same time. When I press it, nothing happens. Is there something that I need to program to operate?
You must stick somewhere after you press the button.

Often abbreviated Prt Scr, print screen key is a useful key supported by most of the PC. On the BACK, by pressing the print screen key causes the computer to send some images and text are currently on the screen to the printer. Some graphics programs and Windows, use the print screen button to get screenshots.
Now, how to see the screenshots or maybe even send them to someone? The fastest and most effective method is to have a practical graphic editing program. If this isn't an option, you can open your favorite word processing program and create a new document. Place your cursorat the beginning of the document, or wherever you want the screenshot to appear.
Using your keyboard, press Ctrl + V which will Paste the screenshot in your open document

I work with Windows 7 Professional.
When you use the keyboard on the screen, I need the function keys is always visible. I understand that by clicking on the Fn key shows the function keys instead the pad, but as soon as I use one of the F keys, the number keys are presented again. I need to lock the keys function in place. Is there a way to do this?

The PrintScreen key is misnamed. It copies the screen to the Clipboard, so you can paste the image into Paint or other graphics application.
It has nothing to do with printing [and did not over fifteen years].
